Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

I sometimes wonder about the user Mort 08,last time I saw them they rage quit the forum over something ridiculous
New theme music also a boxWhat would be something that would be easy to be ignored in a Furryverice?
Housecat seams like a good stand by.
How the shell is it almost 3:00 already? :S
I like to keep my audience riveted.I'm too inexperienced about making work pages to make The Library Of The Unwritten an actual page, which frustrates me because I find the book to be really interesting and page-worthy. I just don't have the long chunks of time to go through the process at the moment. Also, Howto Createa Works Page recommends adding a proposed works page to the TLP, but isn't that just for tropes?
So, let's hang an anchor from the sun... also my TumblrI heard someone use the word "dob" today. What does "dob" mean?
There's a couple things that could be, what was the context?
They were putting sour cream on a taco.
OK, starting to think going for a half-hour walk in 102°F heat was a terrible idea.
Whoa. Are you okay?
I like to keep my audience riveted. My apartment complex has a pool. It’s nice, but in all honesty, I would prefer to swim in the ocean.
I like to keep my audience riveted.Listening to Embryonic makes me realize that Michael Ivins is probably my favorite bass player.

Speaking of wildlife, you’re not going to believe this. I just had raccoons come up to me. Twice.
I like to keep my audience riveted.Think I have mild heatstroke. Gonna take it easy.
I’m sorry. :( Yes, taking it easy is a good idea.
I like to keep my audience riveted.Ladies and gentlemen, I am hammered. Also my Cambodian coworker has got me started on listening to kpop, which the band he recommended isn't too bad. I'll give anything as a listen, so long as it isn't country.
Apparently G4 is making a return. With online game journalism being so prevalent and negative, I see no reason for G4 to exist in today's day and age.
Shyhero, this is going to sound weird but is your furry question still open for discussion?
Forum signature.Yaa sure.
Housecat, is still my stand by.
Biggest thing I see overlooked are the Seldom-Seen Species. While reptiles and birds are fairly common even while mammals dominant furry works, stuff like bugs and sea creatures are pretty rare. It's a shame too because those two categories are like striking species gold considering how many of them they are. I also strangely don't see a lot of amphibians nor any kind of parasites unless it's for a quick frog or flea joke or something.
Of course this also comes with another thing overlooked, just how do these humanized animals live together with their vastly different needs? This especially applies if land animals are put alongside sea animals. The efforts put into the worldbuilding in Zootopia solely to answer this question almost made me disappointed that it was a buddy cop movie. It's very creative and I'd like to see more of it.
And from that stems a third overlooked thing, if furries are so common in this world then how come the vast majority of architecture and man-made objects in general are designed for humans? It's understandable if furries are a minority group on a mostly human-populated world but I've always found it kind of obnoxious when people dump a world entirely of furries or even one where it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to say half of that world's population are furries into a familiar human setting because that just shows they didn't put any effort into it and just wanted to inject furries into something that doesn't even really need it.
Carnivorism. These animals eat each other. How are these reflected in the cultural and societal norms of this animal-driven world? This question I almost never see answered or even satisfactorally because it is understandably very hard to answer without revolving into horror. I mentioned Zootopia earlier and while they tried to deal with this, I didn't think it was satisfactory. They might not be violent murderers but they have to eat meat sooner or later. Are there still livestock farms for these matters? Because then that implies that not all the animals are ascended, or that some of these human-like intelligent animals are born just to be killed and eaten. I'd pray to god that there'd be no veal or similar dishes these settings.
And while we're at it, how about one more. Societal norms and taboos. Humans have a wide range of cultural differences so it makes one shudder to imagine the cultural nightmare a world filled with different intelligent species would bring. Unlike most of these other things, I don't roll my eyes when furry writers don't this down because it's another very hard thing. Is there specism, and is it acceptable? Are taboos based on the differing biologies of species, long-rooted social constructs, or both? What things would be considered acceptable here but not in our human world and vice versa? These are just a few I came up with on the spot and it should give a general idea of how complex this can get. Still, it's fun to think about.
I think I'll leave it at that. Anything more and I might go mad.
