It's getting to be that time of the year again! Nothing like a bad case of the sniffles to put you in that autumnal spirit!

I've got a runny/stuffy nose and a sore throat to match. I woke up this morning feeling unusually better about it than I had been, thinking, "Hey! Maybe it blew over already...!" Ha. As if. Being able to talk sure would be nice.

Let's all moan at one another about how sucky we feel. It can't hurt worse than our sinuses already do!

I've had a sore throat, sinus headaches and nosebleeds for the last couple weeks. Mostly worn off though.

...I got a cold.....this is about the worst possible timing, seeing as I have SATs and a speech for English class coming up imminently.

Ugh, I hate feeling congested. My throat's a little scratchy too.

I actually rather truley get a cold or flu badly. Once every 2 or 3 years usually.

Usually my sickness when I go get something is stomach problems in general uncomfortable wooziness. I used to curse this back when I was in school because I wanted off days. But now that I'm an adult and sickness isn't much of an excuse, it's pretty good to feel great often.

And apparently we have to shove this in the face of poor sick people in this thread instead of cheer them up. I swear outside of the internet this would be terrible social skills.

Recovering from some cold thing that started out as a sore throat, then got the stuffy nose and coughing. Feeling better energy wise at least, yesterday I was too weak to do anything but sleep.

Actually, I hate sleeping on nights when I'm really sick, cause then I get horrible fever dreams, where it's not quite a nightmare but everything is painful and unpleasant.

Trying to type but it's difficult because my circulation feels weird. I had to take my wristwatch off because it was hurting. I've been feeling dehydrated, dizzy and headachey for a couple of days now. I have a doctor's appointment first thing on Friday, which probably means no St. Patrick's celebrations (my neighbour is Irish, so that's not going to go down well).

I'm worried about this assignment. I just can't focus on the damn thing.

Most of the time I get 'sick' I just get a sore throat. For the first time in years this weekend I got the whole deal - headache, sore throat, stuffed nose, fuzzy head. With a final project due that monday. That I had to pull an all nighter for.

I managed to ruin a friend's 25 birthday party this weekend by falling ill shortly after leaving the restaurant.

As an aside, I've been almost constantly ill since about September of last year. Looking back at it, I'm pretty sure that my well weeks are outweighed by the ones where I've had killer headaches, joint pains, head colds, stomach bugs, sore throats and fever.

Some of this probably comes from working with vulnerable groups to infection, but I'm sure that's not all of it. The doctors disagree...and so long as I drug myself up, I'm still functional. Still it would be nice to go for longer than seven days without feeling like a warmed up corpse.

I actually have a cold now, during spring break, and it SUCKS. I don't get stomach bugs anymore, but I do get colds. And they're WORSE.
