(I uh, was tripping over the the fact that the limit would only occur at infinity and not merely X, where X is finite, even if X is the number of Karkats in Paradox Space. So, even if Jasprosesprite^2 has the experiences of every Rose in Paradox Space, ^note which, from evidence, is an iffy interpretation of what she said, even if the literal one; maybe she just has access to them, and not on such a fundamental level that they were as experiences, instead as simply knowledge? I guess I kinda made a lot of assumptions that's not every circumstance, just, a subset of them. Because, I was ignoring the earlier point about Daves outside of Paradox Space, but, you were right? Those experiences would inform the limit, I was wrong to ignore them just because they didn't happen; it's the potential responses of the character that matter, not the validity of the circumstances themselves. Haha, whoops.)

(I still think the sprites square have a disconnect between what they say they are and what they seem to be, but it's not looking incoherent anymore. Just kinda, mundanely off.)

Btw, y'know what's a thing? Nepeta isn't actually a cat. She's as much a cat as Tavros is a bull. So when Davepeta talks about having feline intuition and Jade talks about Dave having cat lips, that's kind of... utter nonsense?

So I've been headcanoning that the Nepeta half of Davepeta is just kind of bullshitting everyone- including Davesprite somehow- into thinking that she's literally part cat.

Yeah, and, the origin of the joke isn't even an actual misspelling.

Besides, I trust you with the position for administrating the quality of typos, not for authoring a prodigious quantity of them.

My question is, since Davesprite is a character we're familiar and all the other Daves but one or two are strangers to us the readers, how else is Davepetasprite 2 supposed to behave that won't come off strange?

In any case, as much as they are transcendent or whatever, this thing is still comprised of two teenagers with previously established personalities. I feel like if I'm to buy into this "prime" business as described here then I think "prime" is also supposed to include basic personality? In which case the casual way Davepeta describes and sort of slides through the whole topic makes sense for both Nepeta and Davesprite as I have come to understand them.

In fairness, Tavros' association with bulls isn't nowhere near as strong as Nepeta's with cats.

Getting home exhausted, why not cheer up with some Homestuck reread. By pure chance I had my computer taken away right before I was going to hit play on Cascade. FUCK YEAH, CASCADE.

So awesome.

I love how Jade basically does very little onscreen at all actually, saves everyone's asses in Cascade, and then slips back into irrelevancy until literally yesterday while not mind-controlled.

I think, a bit after this, I might compile a favorite-to-least-favorite list of every single Homestuck character since almost all of them are just that good. Although I'm not entirely sure who qualifies as a character.
