VG Music Game

Go To

The rules are pretty simple— I'm thinking of a song. It's from a video game. Guess what song it is. You can ask yes/no questions for hints.note  Whoever guesses the song first will take control of the game and choose their own song. To this point, we've accumulated over 800 songs among 12 years and 39000 posts— thanks to everyone who's played so far!

Tips for future reference, if it's your turn:
- Make sure to keep track of hints you've given! Also, if an answer is kinda fuzzy, you can elaborate a little bit.
- Try not to repeat a game. Same game/series is acceptable, but there's a lot of music still untouched. Same game and song is right out. Be sure to check this list thoroughly!

Shall we begin?

Solved Rounds:

     1 - 100
     101 - 200
     201 - 300
     301 - 400
     401 - 500

No, though, for the record, I did originally consider the Dragon Chef theme.

No, the track here does not play in the first ('It's a Jungle Out There...') or the last ('Land of the Livid Dead') level.

Um. I'm not sure how to answer this one. You see, after you clear the first five worlds, the following four can be completed in any order, as extensions of the first four. So, the answer to you question could depend on the order you take.

For what it's worth, so far as I've been able to tell, the track does not play on a prime number level at least across those first five worlds (where the level order is set). Not sure how much this will help, though.

If you play the last four levels in alphabetical order, with the song play on a prime-numbered level (treating Level 5 as Level Five)?
