"Hey Monolith want to dabble in the #1 RPG franchise?"
"Wow, you guys are really caving to that open world Pokemon demand."

Where there's life, there's hope.Breath of the Wild was able to be Breath of the Wild by virtue of their taking an entire console generation to make it. Having more time means less pressure to produce something safe and reliable.
But you're also right that they have no reason to. The games sell through the roof and have never not done so.
At least the best track of the game will play while you get horribly murdered by that OP Pokemon.
It's been 3000 years…I can't help but feel like the narrative of the fanbase generally disliking the alola games is a bit exaggerated? I think its dislikers are pretty vocal but it didn't get near the same amount of backlash the kalos games did. Let's Go is more comparable in that regard.
Anyway beat the E4 and hau. The E4 actually ended up easier than expected and I lost no more than two mons per match. Hau on the other hand had me down to my last mon(salamence) and had he not made the mistake of switching out a wounded crabdominable earlier into noivern who got instantly KO'd he could've possibly won. His tauros is pretty threatening since it's rather fast and hits hard.

I am inclined to think while GF should do what it usually does and headline new gens, they should contract other studios to give a more diverse experience while also let GF take more time on new gens. If GF won't do a main adventure focused on doubles, maybe Genius Sonority would like to have another crack at it then.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences. On the one hand, burnout is definitely a thing. Also, Pokemon is a Tough Act to Follow for anybody, especially its creators.
On the other hand, Gen 6 not getting an Updated Re-releasenote validated that particular practice. It's almost as though they need to publish near the end of a console's lifecycle to fully embrace its effects.
Conversely, I don't see where Nintendo goes from the Switch except perhaps upgrades on stuff like resolution, hardware, etc. So perhaps it would behoove GF to prolong the generations a bit, as others have suggested. I mean, if anyone comes out of left field hardware wise, Ninten-does, but you can't predict those developments in advance by the very nature of those projects.
Ketchum's corollary to Clarke's Third Law: Any sufficiently advanced tactic is indistinguishable from blind luck.I don't get the acceptance of 3rd versions, especially with regard to Gen VI.
People keep saying Kalos would of been better if Z had come out, but wouldn't the ideal situation be a pair of games that are as good as they possibly could be from the outset?
I'm all for additional content and don't even think updated re-releases are inherently bad, but ideally a game should stand on its own without an update well enough.
I think part of the reason they are so accepting is because GF is NOT accepting the other path of dlc expansions. U forget their reasoning, but we basically dont have much we can fo on the matter. Like you said, any game they touch makes blockbuster amount of cash. If it aint broke, why fix it?
Any Pokemon game
Every game Gamefreak has ever made that isn't Pokemon has bombed. Most people don't even know what Drill Dozer, Tembo the Badass Elephant, Harmoknight, and Giga Wrecker even are.
I should preface that my personal favorite pokemon gen is Gen 6, and I still really like Sun and Moon, though USUM I kinda loathe on principle.
But G6 and G7 are heavily flawed, and USUM being what they were was kinda the revealing of the strings of the puppet show. People loved SM for how fresh it was at the time, the Alola pushback only really happened after USUM came out.

I'm having to learn to pay the priceAnd yet USUM still sold a ton despite the 3DS being half-dead. That's what I call a dedicated fanbase.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.A combination of effective marketing/trailers and franchise addiction probably.
Get Out of Our Home.I hate going through ultra space, getting kinda far, running into like 2 electric balls and landing in a basic wormhole on a blind turn. So aggravating.
I actually did find reshiram in an early glowing wormhole though(and not even a rare one), which was cool and a stroke of luck. Normally I'd feel cheap using it but since RR use legendaries...maybe just for them, plus I want to have it fight ghestis.
USUM is probably one of the funnest games to do monotype due to providing a fairly decent selection across types and generally having one of the more challenging campaigns.

I would've liked the different areas of Ultra Space to have more to explore (like Platinum's Distortion World) instead of having a very similar linear layout, but what we got was alright. It helps that the music's great.
I really wished they were more intricate too but considering they're just glorified legendary lairs, they're at least aesthetically pleasing and thematically interesting ones.
Though I get upset whenever I end up in buzzswole's now, because it's the one I end up in most by far. I never even got to guzzlord or kartana's.

Ultra Space was a massive disappointment. Probably the thing that reveals the 3rd version model is a relic of the past.
Not to me! I loved Ultra Space, minigane and all. Going around to different dimensions and timelines to capture aliens was rad. People say they were barren but i already understand why so its fine.
Hated the minigame, but I do enjoy the maps - especially the UBs'. Really gives that "alien" vibe they're supposed to have.
... And that's called jazz!I meant Ultra Megalopolis, sorry. Ultra Space is fine, if a tad gimmicky. Comapred to how ORAS handled extra legendaries.
I hope when we get Sinnoh remakes, they find a clever way to cram all past legendaries into it.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Put them in the void and make the player bike a certain distance out for each of them
I couldn't conceive a dream so wet; your bongos make me congo. My guess is that they'd be locked behind the Platinum Episode. Once you've caught Giratina, you can use the Distortion World to access other universes.
A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.acsending the void glitch would be the most hilarious thing ever that still ties into the lore. shame it'll never happen.
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."

Eh. The quality of the games is subjective to begin with. While a lot of people don't like XY and SM/USUM both gens have their defenders. I don't think slowing imput would do anything for the quality of the games if I'm being honest. People complain but they still buy them so they must be doing something right.
