I am a man mostly uninterested in sex, and in fact quite capable of being squicked out by even n ormal sex, but I am still quite susceptible to PSL, and it's mostly just attraction, not that much sexual desire. I have found myself having PSL for R Dorothy, Rei Ayanammi, and Aigis. I sense a pattern.

Also, Charlatan's avatar inspires in me a perverse cuddle lust.

What's the frequency Kenneth?|In case of war.

I put this on the actual Troper Tales page, but I have a rather mild PSL for Raidou. (That's him in my avatar.) And Narumi has his charms, too; I'm glad to see another troper likes him.

Why "rather mild"? ...Well, I just don't usually think about it unless I want to. I'm really more interested in them as characters; being attractive is just a bonus. ...Yeah, I'm this kinda weird borderline-asexual person. I love to think about sex, but really not in any rush to have it. ...Hell, if either character I mentioned actually wanted to have sex with me (fictionality aside), I'd probably politely decline...

I know, I'm weird. ^_^'

I'm succeptible to both the "OMG hot!" variety and the "This is the person I would like to spend time with it hey were real and I wasn't so nervous around people," but generally it comes and it goes; it's the same way with attraction to real people for me, and I think it's some sort of coping mechanism I subconsciously wound up with, to keep me from being creepy stalker guy. I give up easily. Helps me to keep quiet and not make a fool of myself. Don't have to be rejected.

But for some reason, some of my fictional-character crushes, like Sakaki and Ninjette, just keep recurring. I can't shake them.

I think I'm kinda messed up.

Thought of another: Kida — the Atlantean princess from Disney's Atlantis! That scene where she took off her skirt to go swimming was surprisingly hot, for a Disney movie.

"My top picks on the PSL chart are Yomiko Readman, Lucca Ashtear and Agatha Heterodyne. What can I say, I loves me some smart chicks."

I never understood the deal with Gardevoir. I mean...it's not even human—in that it's basically supposed to be a separate animal species (not even a "human-looking robot")! That squicks me somewhat.

But anyway, I forgot someone:

Ritz, from Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. A strong-willed, beat-up-the-bullies mentality. I love that sort of personality.

Which reminds me, I should also mention Alex Eames from Law & Order Criminal Intent—I don't really find her all that attractive in the sense of lust, but I love her personality, and similarly with Nola Falacci, also from Criminal Intent. Honorable mentions go to Alex Cabot and Casey Novak from Special Victims Unit, who are more attractive but whose personalities I get to see less of.

Yes, I like smart girls with strong personalities—ones that could make them the heroine hero of the story. (But not arrogance. I really dislike arrogance.) And preferably wearing glasses.

@Faw: Even though I think Gardevoir looks cool (No PSL, though) I never got one because Kirlia is so fucking weak and can't survive in battle T_T

However, I find Gardevoir to be WTF USELESS in Brawl. Really, what the hell is it even doing? Something I ask myself everytime it comes out of that pokeball...

Ah, I'm not really sexually attracted to Gardevoir. I just love that thing as much as you possibly can love a whole species without a sexual factor. (Embarrassing evidence right here: http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=107078 Yes, that's a character support thread on Smash Boards that I made way before the game was released. Don't read the end of the thread, it gets ugly. ... No, not in that way.)

It really isn't humanoid enough to really be attracted to, but it sure is a beautiful creature. She looks like an abstract painting of elegance personified that's come to life! And then there's the whole part about how caring and empathetic they are and everything.

... but the main reason I wrote that there was that I was reading this at the time. Let's just say I randomly shouted "GARD BOOBIES" in a chat a few times during the following minutes.

EDIT: Kirlia is too weak for you? Maybe you're just too weak for Kirlia! MAYBE THAT, HUH!? Back in my days, we raised MAGIKARPS and stopped them from evolving so they would learn Flail, is what we did!

Also, Gardevoir... projects a shield that reflects projectiles.

Yeah, it's useless. ._.

My Kirlia kept getting one-shotted. T_T

Or at least shotted to the red area, meaning it's not gonna fight very well.

EDIT: I'm gonna go check my party in Emerald. I haven't played in a while.

Y'know, I just realized, I basically posted here what I posted before in the "crushes on fictional characters" topic.

So maybe I'm thinking crushes rather than actual lust. To be honest, lust doesn't really entertain me that much. Like, "whoa she's hot, whatever", and that doesn't really make much of an impression on me after a day or two. Give me a cute girl with a great personality and I will likely not lust after her as much as I'd have a crush on her.

I was assuming we were using the phras in the trope sense, which covers crushes and et ctera, rather than it having to be flat-out lust. Also I was unaware we had a fictional character crush thread.

C Trombley: No, I don't think that was it. Maybe it helped that she was standing next to Cheerleader, who I don;t like much, and thus looked a lot better in comparison.

Komodin: Great, now I'm expecting someone to say they have PSL for Sam the Eagle.
