And thus I left this thread with all the knowledge and stuff I had in the previous page.
If there's a book you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it. Toni MorrisonI had this stupid mental image that I thought you might appreciate.
Captain Cold kissing Crystal...and instead of him freezing to death, something akin to the Tongue on the Flagpole effect happening. Crystal is understandably annoyed.
Yes. Yes. Yes.
Give me scenarios for my ship.
If there's a book you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it. Toni MorrisonFrench house headcanon:
"Don't cry because it's over, cry because it happened."Oh, and also: Sam has a photo of that, because of course he does.
If there's a book you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it. Toni MorrisonHe never lets them live it down.
Also, another kissing-related headcanon; I found this one on Bland DC Headcanons and it makes me laugh every single time:
Cyborg once kissed Livewire on a dare. He was rebooting repeatedly for two days afterwards.

Ha. Reminds me of me trying to make the kiss that killed Electro into an actual kiss by swapping the new Electro by Livewire in my DC/Marvel crossover. They eventually live a happy life, their daughter becomes a superheroine, and everyone is good.
Also, I’m trying to find a thing I saw with Cap. Cold playing the piano with Crystal there and it was really nice but I CAN’T FIND IT AGHDNDISM.

If there's a book you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it. Toni MorrisonStupid headcanon: Livewire's favorite song is "Video Killed the Radio Star."
Stupid reality in my universes: The Electro/Livewire Leimotif is Electric Kiss. The Sam/Lisa one is Man in the Mirror.
If there's a book you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it. Toni MorrisonThey portrayed her very differently from in the comics but I still love The Flash (2014)'s version of Lisa. She's pretty fun.
Gotta go to sleep, if you have any more Coldfrost stuff, post it. Or anything, too.

Had an idea once for a book (the second entry in the Stuck trilogy, to be exact) where the lead characters band together to stop a mad scientist from taking over their city with a techno-virus that used cell phones and the like to emit high-frequency waves as a method of mind control (with the justification that teenagers and kids still have hearing sensitive enough to keep them from getting hit by it unless struck by it from a particularly close range). it'd be kinda a send-up of schlocky zombie movies, and I think while I was coming up with it I unintentionally channeled a bit of the first SpongeBob movie alongside more reasonable influences like Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland. (still less ridiculous than "internet gas" tbh)
I'd have to give the entire trilogy a good overhaul before giving it another go but I always figured the concept was kinda neat, especially as a counterpoint to the first book (which almost relies on a lack of cell phones in order for its plot to work)

No more Mr. Nice Guy / No more Mr. Clean / No more Mr. Nice Guy / They say, "he's sick, he's obscene!"x3 Yeah, their stuff is much freakier/more hardcore than what I was working with. My earlier writing stuff (Stuck, its related projects, and my other short stories from the early 2010s) was much more in the hard PG-light PG-13 range. Didn't want to get too out there.
More recently I've been a bit more willing to get harder with my stuff, though still not to the point of excess. My most recent story, Square One, is pretty solidly PG-13 territory. Don't think I've got much need to get into the real adults only side of things; so far there's been no need, really.
