We're getting answers, but will they satisfy us,what with all the mystique that's been generated?
I kinda like this earlier Miho. :-) Wonder what happened to turn her into Mystery Girl?

Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.Fred always answers all of our questions. He just does it in such a way as to create at least twice as many questions as he answers.
The Philosopher-King ParadoxI suspect that Miho was somehow cloned during the Endgames events when the server went under. The Clone has been running around until Ed shot it.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls! One theory that seems to be pretty popular is that the Miho that we've been seeing so far is actually an astral projection and that this Miho is the real one.
The Philosopher-King ParadoxWoo. Hi, Miho. Say hello to Chickification.
A wonderful idea! Thank you, fat lazy American.
I will consume not only your flesh, but your very soul.Well that's a little unfair/early. We don't even know what happened to her yet.
Wait, when did I get a manga blog?I don't see the Chickification here.
She is a friggin' vampire. She is grimdark by very definition. She eats emotions and is wiser than everybody else in this comic, combined. And now she's suddenly "wow I'm so happygolucky you've come" and "omg don't look at my chatlogs I'm ashamed".
Can you imagine, i.e. Etna, being similarily ashamed?

I will consume not only your flesh, but your very soul.Um, we've yet to even have confirmation that this is even the same Miho as before, much less that she was any of the things that you claim.
The Philosopher-King ParadoxMiho's not a vampire, she's a fairy godmother. Note how wishes coming true and giving gifts make her stronger.
This is the un-broken version of her. I think.
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.I re-read the last two chapters tonight. I still have no idea what Miho is. And usually an Archive Trawl clears up these kind of things.
Miho is deliberately vague. We still don't have an answer, although it's just possible we might get one in the next week or two.
And another new comic! Not that I'm complaining, but what the hell! 8-)
Michael, she's queen of the undead by Largo's POV, a magical girl by Yuki's POV, etc. As for me, I clearly can not recall any fairy godmothers playing with emotions for fun and profit.
I will consume not only your flesh, but your very soul.Largo's last opinion of her was to speculate as to whether she is a magical girl.
But we've yet to hear what she thinks she is.
The Philosopher-King ParadoxAmin, Miho is darkly cute and an unspecified person of the "dark side". But that doesn't mean she can't get embarrassed about personal, private hope-it-never-surfaces type information being dragged into the open air. And as the latest strip shows our lovely sarcastic Miho is still in there.

Too many characters in each panel + Only Six Faces = my confusion. I had to read this three times to figure out who's who.
Really? I got Kimiko and Erika confused for a bit but that was it.
I want to see more Junko and Largo conversation!
Well, I eventually got it sorted out.
Does it look like a two-update week? Last week got my hopes up.
Fred still has to go back and hatch the last two comics, so if we're to expect anything more this week, it'll probably be the finished versions of them.
The Philosopher-King ParadoxThe last few comics have been way too busy. Impossible for me to tell what's going on.
Here's a brief synopsis of what's happening in the last two comics:
- Largo and Ed fight.
- When we last saw Kobayashi, he had just noticed a text message on Largo's uPhone consisting solely of "help!" Now, we see him looking at the uPhone, muttering "So... she's okay now?"
- Kenji and Foxgrrl are discussing something. We don't know what, but Foxgrrl posits: "There's gotta be some way ta stop 'er from..." at which point she notices that Kobayashi, who was told to stay in the green room, is wondering around the dance floor. She grabs him.
- Junko is looking for Ping.
- Kimiko is hanging out in the middle of this, appearently unaware of what's going on. She spots Largo and Ed fighting, and is confused by this. She then sees Erika, and asks her what's going on.
- Junko recognizes Largo, quipping "Please tell me that's not actually you, Largo-sensei."
- Cut to the hospital, where we see Yuki and Miho arguing about whether or not Piro actually loved Miho. Miho brusquely asks Yuki to leave.
- Cut back to the CoE. Erika explains to Kimiko that they were dancing, and that Largo is taking care of someone who frightened Ping.
- Kobayashi spots Kimiko and calls out to her. Foxgrrl recognizes the name, and turns to talk to her. Kimiko greets Foxgrrl as "Komugiko-san."
- Someone comments from off panel: "Looks like someone's getting popular."

The Philosopher-King Paradox
We've been asking him to explain Miho for years. But the Miho we knew, the one hit by a cannon, had cut her hair off in hospital. This one, still in hospital, still has the ponytail.
