Finishing helping conspiracy-boy with the painting,I talk a bit with Lilly and Hanako as they walk back to the dorms with me in the twilight.

I get an offer of lunch on the roof with Emi. Yay?

Wake up,get checked out,go to dorm,get books,go to class.

For lunch,I am mostly eating with Emi. But... dududuuu! Rin's there too. Not to worry,there's lunch for everyone. Rin does her foot-eating which causes me a bit of normal-angst when I think I might get used to it.

Starting to realise why everyone likes Rin. :-)

I trip- uh,put my foot in- fuck,make a faux pas when she mentions how hard it is to put on shirts.

Lunch ends and I go to the library,spotting Hanako but not stopping to talk to her.

(I'm starting to read what they're saying in their voices. Misha sounds like Suzumiya Haruhi,natch. Emi sounds like Louise with a touch of Genki Girl. Lilly sounds like Tessa. Hanako is Nodoka,obviously. Rin... unsure. Who could do 'dirty-minded and unembarrassed'?)

New day. Class,and the teacher takes me out for a telling-off. I yessir and sound contrite.

Everyone rushes off,leaving me behind... and Hanako. But nothing happens. Even she leaves eventually. Finishing homework,I leave and bump into the school festival prep.s,then Emi. "Whatchadoin'?" (Quiet,DeeDee!) Oh good,more shanghaiing. More art supplies.

Rin's a little weird? Something seemed off to me? *Savvy signal starts flashing*

We drop off the art supplies,Rin barely registers us,then we go back for more.

I'm then told by Emi that I'm now her running partner. Then she pouts. HNNNG.

She suggests going to see Rin's mural and tags along.

I kind of like it for its "dreamlike" quality. (To this player - sweet shit,it's like essence of Picasso)

All three of us go for eats,but I make a plan to sneak some fried food. (I see an interaction in your future. Or just another heart attack. Let's find out)

I go for a cake instead,reflecting upon this week's 'not bad' nature. Bedtime and ...roll credits?

Been a while since I've played the demo, but to the best of my recollection, the way to get Hanako is to do what you did, except don't introduce yourself confidently in the library, and don't race Emi.

Hence why I said "uh-oh". Every newbie ends up with Emi at first because of that, and since her ending is definitely the least interesting, it leaves them with a bad impression.

I think there's... one way to get out of that? Or two? Buuut it's just not worth it.

Heh, I got Rin the first time just by doing what I felt I would do in Real Life. That made me happy.

I haven't played the game at all, but choosing to race a girl on the track team when your main character has a dangerous heart condition seems like a transparently bad idea.

If you've followed the Shizune route thus far, you can race Emi and still have the choice to join Mishizune or Emin for lunch (setting you up for Shizune's and Emi's endings respectively, as long as you don't make a really stupid decision later).

I've decided I want to check this thing out. I've never played any sort of Visual Novel before, and, well, why not? It's like an Adventure Game, which is something that I love, only without all the, you know, puzzles that I can't solve without Google. Plus I like anime enough. And cute girls.
