Yes, the new cover is AI art with Photopea to assemble it. A Star Destroyer, Sarza and Meelan Lah's faces in the bottom corners, a banner with the title and author name at the top, and at the bottom "AI Art by ErikModi," so it is clearly labeled as such.
And I rather obviously would vote to keep, but not sure if my vote counts for anything.

Somehow I didn't realize that my vote count was at the very end of a page, so counting once again:

I'd been thinking about replacing the image anyway, but with everything else going on it was on the back burner. This bumped it to the front, so should I just go ahead and do that, vet it here, head to IP now, or go to IP once this discussion is finalized?
I know I kind of asked that question before, but I want to firm up the answers I got and avoid making any more mistakes.
Head to IP now. It's really their area, not ours.

Recorded the consensus to keep on Administrivia.The Content Policy and the discussion page, and since the image is all that's left, locking so it can be taken to IP.
Edit: Whoops — overlooked the fact that the image was already replaced, so I guess that's everything.
