In one of my upcoming updates i'm adding the emoji bar/support, preview & img upload buttons to the TLP, Queries, Discussion pages and Reviews but i realized tropes is using very old Font Awesome icons.
I am going to add updated emoji choices everyone can use in the main forums as well as all the other areas i've added the bar to but i wanted to know if any tropers would be willing to custom create some emojis for everyone? We could use newer font awesome icons but custom ones would be best if we get some volunteers.

Bomb and some kinda hat? (can't find one that matches the TLP hat symbol. maybe the cowboy side one?)
Though hats can also be fun on their own. wizard, witch, cowboy
raised fist. also rotated versions for fist bumps? (hm... can't find a left-facing version) handshake, hand point up, hand point down, hand holding heart, hands clapping, hand wave, hand, hand spock, hand horns, hand peace, hand fingers crossed
tools? hammer, hammer knock, screwdriver+wrench, wrench, shovel, screwdriver... ooh, scissors! That'd definitely get some use. hand scissors? magnifying glass ...kitchen knife? broom
sparkles, sparkle, fire, star, stars. Hm, some magicky icons could represent wiki magic. wand sparkles, wand magic sparkles, hand sparkles, book sparkles, lasso sparkles, hand holding magic, aah there's so many. rainbow? it only allows for up to two colors at once, though
media icons: book, books, tv, tv retro, tv music, camera movie, film, video, camcorder, compact disc, music, guitars, violin, piano, saxophone, saxophone fire, oh my god there's so many musical instrument icons. I'm gonna have to cut myself off there or we'll be here all day. headphones, record vinyl, camera retro, microphone, gramophone, cassette tape, album collection, turntable, microphone stand, though bubble, masks theater, user shakespeare, gamepad, game console handheld, joystick, alien 8bit, game board, dice, headset, d8, d20, there's a bunch of different dice ones, also chess. Lots of stuff comes up in a search for 'game'. puzzle piece, puzzle, spade, club, heart, diamond (could get those in different colors too, 'specially the heart). palette, paintbrush, paintbrush pencil, newspaper, mp3 player

Well now that we have multiple volunteer artists i think we should probably abandon any font awesome icons and just use purely community-made icons, don't you think? There's no rush so you all can take your time and make them look as good as possible and add as many choices as you can handle. I'll add whatever is created by you all to the database and create some sort of system to search through them. Or if we just end up with a few dozens I can just make a small drop-down menu like the Markup Help currently is.

If 16 is too small, what would be the best size for icons? It looks like the smileys are 16 pixels, 
and

is 32. 22 seems to be the largest before line height increases, at least in Firefox.
I'm thinking 22, 20, or 24. 20 and 24 because they're more neatly rounded, but that's just a preference.

Testing "confused" - the uploader does some compression, I think? So it probably won't be perfectly sharp.
svgs are beyond me, though

Pretty sure you can just type in “convert to SVG” in google or chatGPT. I use ol chatty-G everyday for work.
Might need to take a screenshot of the icons because it looks like the same quality as the current ones.
Whoever gets some proper icons made will get their names put on the site and you can even make yourselves a special badge when the badge shop goes live soon as the creators of all the icons for T Vtropes

My point was that the overwhelming majority would start as raster art. SVG is useful but it isn't universally applicable, for sure.

I have an avatar in my gallery that is a literal shoehorn with the word "COVID" written on it, as in "COVID shoehorn", but I think a broader-themed emoji that could be used in any cleanup thread to signify any shoehorned example would actually be cool.
