OK, they've been moved to Main/.

Moving Animutation's wicks to Main/ shouldn't take long. Doing the same with YouTube Poop's wicks will take longer, but it's more time-consuming than difficult since we'd just be removing the namespace.

I think I got all the video examples moved over, but I could have missed some since the video example subpage doesn't distinguish between namespaces unless you check the tropes/sources attached to the videos.

Anyway, cutlist the WebAnimation/ locations after they've been dewicked.

For WebAnimation.Animutation—Main is done. 30 left for that one.

Found pages that had both, so dealing with both at once should speed things up slightly.

I cut the WMG, YMMV, and Trivia subpages for this and Creepypasta since Main/ pages can't have those subpages, since these are genres of works and not works themselves, and the fact that we decided to move these to Main/ pretty much rules out moving Creepypasta out of Main/, meaning that points toward those subpages being invalid.

Sorry for the double post, but WebAnimation.Animutation is dewicked, so I cut that redirect and removed the Wick Cleaning Projets entry and removed the TRS banner from Main.Animutation.

So, now we have 1092 wicks to clear out for YTP.

By the way, make sure the wick's relevant before removing just the namespace. I had to eliminate a sinkhole just now.

Forgot to change the page type for YouTube Poop from Work to Trope after moving it to Main/ (since we use the Trope page type for genres, if I'm not mistaken; Work isn't the correct page type either way), so that's fixed.

Edit: And updated the header to indicate that Animutation's work is done, which is something I mentioned in other threads that I'm going to start doing with batch threads in general to make it easier to focus on pages that aren't done being cleaned up.

How are we handling the subpages from when it was in Web Animation? (ie. Moments pages and so on)

Are we just cutting them if they're workpage-exclusive? (Laconic, Quotes, Haiku, and Video Examples are easy keeps)

I think the moments pages could be merged into their indexes (Awesome.You Tube Poop into Awesome.Web Original, etc.)

Sure, we could do that. It should help conserve examples this way.

Edit: Funny/ is going to be awkward due to the sheer number. Keep as is?

Sure, why not. Should it be added to the "Media types with their own subpage" section of WO.Funny? It's a genre rather than a medium, so I wasn't sure.

Done. Perhaps the same should be done for NightmareFuel.You Tube Poop? It's a pretty long page, and so is NF.WO.

I don't have a problem with keeping certain subpages if merging them with the main Web Original subpages would make the latter too long.

Is there anything even needed to be done with subpages? They are effectively already indexes of examples for many works.

Unless they are too short and can be merged with a larger index.

Would the video examples need swapping over? They link to WA.YTP but I don't know if that's an important thing to be changing over or not.

I tried my best to switch them over to Main/, but it's possible I missed some.

Edit: Yeah, I did miss some. They should all be linked to Main.You Tube Poop now; the mistakes I previously made were due to VideoExamples.You Tube Poop being shared with both WebAnimation.You Tube Poop and Main.You Tube Poop because VideoExamples/ pages don't distinguish between namespaces (which I guess is another reason to disambiguate work pages).
