The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableSuggestion > current
I prefer Badtothebaritone's original caption suggestion. Noaqiyeum's version doesn't really make sense if you've never seen The Jungle Book, and the old one is playing off how apes are often called monkeys as a shorthand.
^ Okay, that makes more sense.

Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.
Edit: I think we have superconsensus for the image at least.

The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.In that case, is there anything I need to do? This is my first time doing an IP thread and I'm not sure if the one starting the thread has to do anything in particular.

to the suggestion. Original was probably a holdover from when this was Everythings Better With Monkeys.
TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper Wall
As pointed out by Amonimus, the page image on Silly Simian doesn't really illustrate what the trope is about (non-human primates being used for comedy).
I agree, personally - while I am familiar enough with Deadpool to know he is a funny character, the picture just shows him as a gorilla and feels a bit too much like a holdover from when the trope was called "Everything's Better With Monkeys".
I felt that showing a picture of a monkey or other primate actually doing something funny would better illustrate the trope (and may help curb some misuse that the trope is still getting), so I would like to suggest this picture of King Louie from The Jungle Book (1967) as a replacement. (Caption was suggested by badtothebaritone.)
I'm okay with alternative image suggestions if anyone has better ones, too.
