Cosmic Interference

"Shade" was horrified to find that nobody else is fighting the Voidbeast, then realizes that the Voidbeast must have transported itself and "Shade" into another dimension. So whatever this entity is, "Shade" is going to have to go solo.

"Shade" uses Dragon Breath and paralyzes the Voidbeast, then finishes it off with Flamethrower! The Voidbeast disintegrates… but a human corpse remains as they are brought back to the mansion.

It is clear that these Voidbeasts were once people. But how… and what… did this?

I really need to decide on a gender for "Shade"…

Tastes vaguely like chicken. And razor blades. Yum!

Well..."Voidbeasts." That's new.

Triangle is here with "Shade". Seems like they were transported here before they did any crimes.

"Shade" closes its eyes for a moment, and remembers a time when it posted on a forum, and had trouble with the keyboard being too small, and someone offering to send a bigger keyboard and doing that, and receiving it. Then it remembers what Gwyneth said before leaving.

Gwyneth: "I've left my multiversal phone number in my room — that's the top floor, first door to the left of the elevator. I'll be staying there when we're finally going to deal with the Neo Organization."

"Shade" has an idea. Hoping it works, it cries.

"Shade":    * noises that indicates that it wants to call someone to ask for a translation device *   

With that, "Shade" rushes into the mansion, making its way to the elevator, and… is pleasantly surprised to see the buttons are large enough to not be a problem. It looks out of the elevator.

Not "cries" as in tears, but in the same context as Pokémon, since (out-of-universe) it was created with a Fakemon generator. Which is why it can use Pokémon moves and such.
Also planning on having Gwyneth contacted for a translation device so that Pokémon Speak can be averted (since normal people would probably just hear "Giftdrago" or something, haha). And yes, I thought some call-backs would at least be nice. ^^;

Okay, you can do whatever you want, I'll just take some stuff...

Triangle is looking around in Naja's room and drops the crutches.

Surprised they even believed that I had a broken leg.

ok then. Uh... screw it, I'll order a Granny Classic to go.

Stanley is somehow back at base. He seems more relaxed than bored.

"Shade" goes to the seventh floor of the mansion and into the first room to the left of the elevator. A cute sign on the door reads "Gwyneth O'Connors, Greater Overseer of Xyrinfe". "Shade" opens the door to find a phone number on the wall. And a phone. Just one problem: the phone buttons are too small. "Shade" did not think this through. Disappointed, "Shade" goes back to the first floor and looks for Triangle.

"Shade":    * noises that roughly translates to "Your leg's okay? Can I eat the crutches— wait! Never mind that. Could you help with dialing a phone number in the Greater Overseer's room, please?"   

Okay, but don't tell her I'm a criminal.

Triangle goes to the final floor of the place they were trying to rob then into the first room to the left of the elevator. They dial in the phone number.

Gwyneth's voice: "That was pretty quick…"
"Shade":    * noises that translates to "I had to ask a genius anti-criminal mastermind to help phone you so that I could ask you for a translation device so that people can hear what I'm saying instead of just my name!" *   
Gwyneth's voice: "What…? Sorry, I don't… wait. Wasn't 'Giftdrago' the name of that species… is that you, Shade? I don't have any idea what you're trying to say, but it must be an emergency if you're calling, so I'm on my way— at least, after I deal with some Empty Ones that just popped up at the Sacred Isles! Hang in there!"

Gwyneth hangs up. "Shade" gleefully looks at Triangle.

"Shade":    * noises that translates to "Thank you, and I believe your Exact Words were not to tell her you are a criminal. I think I might be a Dark-type if I had a third type… if I'm making up lies and all." *   

"Shade" then looks horrified all of a sudden.

"Shade":    * noises that translates to "What if there are security cameras and the like in this place that we can't perceive?!" *   

Yes, a Greater Overseer can't understand what "Shade" is trying to say.
Also, the Sacred Isles is a group of volcanic islands on the planet Begynn, in the Orejynn galaxy of the Prymordeal Realm in the Sköll universe of Xyrinfe, where Gwyneth is from. And where she grew up before becoming the Greater Overseer. So she prioritizes protecting her birthplace. A future Big Bad might be able to make use of this information if they found out, I dunno.
