I like 1.1 the most out of these suggestions.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.I'd want to see them at wiki size before giving a firm vote.
Here are the pictures, all at size 350.

Please visit the "AITA" forum gameI like the second to last (St. Michael with the scales). The scales to me imply judgment.
It does not matter who I am. What matters is, who will you become? - motto of Omsk BirdTo be honest? That's my favorite too.
Please visit the "AITA" forum gameI agree, I like Vasnetsov's work piece the best.

I don't love-love it, but to the concept pending other ideas. Although if we do use a depiction of I'd like to change the quote since same source/mythology (maybe all or part of it can be repurposed as a caption).

Change the page quote or change the image caption? Because I think the page quote works fine.
Please visit the "AITA" forum gameIt's better to not have the quote and pic not be from the same source (the "source" in this case being Christian...lore, for lack of a better term) to encourage diversity of sources and to not make the trope seem narrower than it is.
I like 9.

Votes bump, two in green.
One more bump; still two in the green.
Calling for 9. It's in and tagged, caption? Reiterating my suggestion to use all or some parts of the quote to make the page not-so-Christianity-centric:

No objections here.
The Rosers were red. The Drownies are blue. I know What the Thunder Said. Do you?
Done; locking up.
Crown Description:
While the Sistine Chapel's depiction of the Last Judgement is indeed a painting of the last judgement, that isn't shown in this part of the painting. It just shows Jesus (who looks less like his traditional depiction), the Virgin Mary, and some of his Apostles. It doesn't show anyone being judged.
There are other Christian depictions of the Last Judgement that I think would work better:
- Stefan Lochner◊'s art from 1435
- Viktor Vasnetsov◊'s art from 1904 (I think a cropped version of the angel holding the scales would work)
- St. Vitus Cathedral◊ in Prague, 14th century
