ďWell, the way I see it, unless thereís some act of God on our hands, I donít know how weíre gonna catch up with that old man.Ē
We could hijack the fire'ngine... mumbles Wm, still delirious from the impact.
ďNow youíre talking sense! Say... I think those fire boys are still up there looking for anyone else. I think this is a perfect opputunity...Ē
Taco begins to sneak into the fire engine quietly
"Aw geez, do we really have to commit more crimes? Can't we just ask them nicely to borrow it?"
Yeah, 'cuz a'bunch o' firefight'rs will def'nitely let a buncha idyuts who crashed a bike in'o a tree drive a fire'ngine!
Wm, while not losing the sarcastic edge, is starting to slur his words together.
"Puma, Wm, don't you understand? This is for the uh... what was this for... the orphanage! Oh those poor orphans! We gotta help them out!"
"You know, this is all for a good cause" Elena nods, having been helped down "Besides, it's not like karma is you going to catch up to us just yet anyway"
What's this about Karma? Whistler asks, having caught up. There is a very strange sort of anger and desperation to his voice.
"He's the villain in the first Ace Attorney game, isn't he?" says Puma.
AA reference? I have been summoned. 😅
"Ah, I see you're a man of culture as well," says Bluethorn.
As Puma and Bluethorn bond over Ace Attorney references, Wm stumbles into the fire engine's shotgun seat, next to Taco.
So, y'know how't'drive this, yeah?

"Bah! How hard could it be?" Taco hits a pedal with his foot, and the engine begins heading backwards, slowly but surely.
