I'm...actually not sure. The article just gave me the impression that Vin kinda likes butting heads with more than one person.
Which is ironic given that he's Groot. And the Iron Giant.

Actors are not always like their roles. Sometimes they're anything but.
Optimism is a duty.Damn Vin really burned a bridge.
Man its not like Johnson needs to come back here, the guy is doing far better than Vin is in the movies.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I guess Dwayne and Vince are just incompatible.
The thing I've understood from the stories of their feud is that they both have rather fragile egos actually. It seems like Dwayne's character might have become more grandiose than it already is had Johnson got his way during production, which would've actually hurt Vin Diesel's presentation as an action star a lot. Johnson is a much bigger star, with a larger fanbase and more box office clout.
But this is ultimately Vin's franchise. Once word got out on the feud, it was a matter of time for Hobbs character to be completely written out.
I feel that's why Russell's Mr. Nobody was introduced to begin with, to continue being the liason to government agencies once Hobbs was out of the picture. And was probably the behind the scenes impetus for rewriting Statham's Deckard Shaw into an ally, as it seems they still have plans for him going by F9's stinger.
Yeah, I can see where Vin is coming from there. Dwayne basically stealing the spotlight from his own movie franchise is a bit much.
Optimism is a duty. The Rock can't help it if he gets more attention than the guy who's supposed to be the lead!
I jest, but...okay, when puts it like that, then maybe Vin has a bit of a point?
(Hobbs & Shaw was still a lot of fun.)

Which vehicle-themed Power Rangers season would Dom and the gang be most at home in?
Shift Into Turbo!
Ok, who let Light Yagami in here?Jason Momoa is in 'final talks' to join the next film in what might be a villain role.

Jason Momoa is a pretty fitting final boss if this is the last one.
It's been 3000 years…Just watched this.
You maniacs! You actually went to Space! You actually did it! You're all insane.
Also, who started humming John Cena's theme when Jakob came back for the save. I bet there's memes of it on Youtube.
.....
I'll be right back.
Edit: God damn.
A few extra scenes there, but they work too. Especially that first part.

One Strip! One Strip! And we have the title for it: Fast X.
It's been 3000 years…I truly admire their refusal to follow a consistent numbering scheme for their sequels.
The funniest thing is that people had been wishing for/predicting that they would go to space sooner or later, and that's exactly what ended up happening.
Also, everyone in favour of just renaming this the Fast Thread?
Optimism is a duty.Might as well.
Director Justin Lin steps down days into production.
[...]
Sources say that production on the main unit has briefly paused while Universal locks in a replacement director, while the second unit continues filming. “Fast X” is planned for a May 19, 2023 theatrical release.

That sounds very suspicious to me when no reason is provided.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."It does make you wonder. He practically made this franchise at this point, so it’s unlikely to be a Creative Differences thing.
So, should we be worried?
I'd say it's a bit early for that, but still, this is not a good sign.
Wake me up at your own risk.So word is is that Justin Lin didn't want to deal with Vin Diesel anymore and that's why he stepped down.
Over 900 years, he shall recover his heartbeat. Over 90 years, he shall recover his intellect. Over 9 years, he shall recover his power.I think that was kind of what everyone was guessing...
Anyway, Variety is reporting that Louis Leterrier (The Incredible Hulk (2008), Clash of the Titans (2010), Now You See Me, Lupin (2021)) will be stepping in to finish the job, a few days and a few million dollars out of Universal's pocket later.
Leterrier? Jesus wept.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."

Who else has beef with Vin? I only know of Dwayne.
