I'd just remove the second pothole in each chained sinkhole.

The obvious solution here would be to move the exclamation point outside of the pothole to add some separation between it and the next link.

While trying to clean up the now-disambiguated Spell My Name With An S, I discovered this chained sinkhole (emphasis mine) in the Literature folder for Open the Iris:

Remove the potholes in “vampire” and “character” and migrate Names to Run Away from Really Fast to where the Spell My Name With An S pothole currently is.
