Welcome to HGS: Another Side Another Story. It is a roleplay spinoff for the Hunger Games Simulator forum game, akin to both the RP's in the Roleplaying section as well as the ITTs in Forum Games. It tells the story of the Hunger Games in the Arena of Panem, the nominators who sent the tributes, the tributes themselves both in and out of the Arena or even other people relevant to the Games. In addition, it also tells their stories beyond the Arena.
You can jump right in with any character, like your nominator self, your tributes, etc. The structure of this RP will be open-world. Don't worry about not being skilled/experienced enough or being new to RP'ing. Finally, ASAS accepts any skill level or RP style. Other than these, there are some important rules to note, which are:
- No godmodding will be allowed or tolerated here. The offending player will be given punishment depending on the severity.
- Please communicate anything important you plan on another player with the said player first. Don't just execute it without their consent.
- Don't be rude to other players, both out and in-universe. This extends to RP offenses like railroading, guilt-tripping, coercing, or other forms of forcing them.
- This RP is related to the Hunger Games Simulation:Beyond the Possibilities forum game. Thus it will have events based from that game, including the tributes. This means if you want to RP as tributes, please nominate them officially on the thread first, with misses not being counted. This has to be done after an incident with a player who hasn't joined the game itself yet.
- Since this RP is Loose Canon in relation to the main HGS thread, the host's interpretation of events isn't necessarily 100% canon. Every player has the right to deviate from what the host says and go with their own interpretations. If multiple players have their tributes involved in the same event(s), please communicate with each other so that you're on the same page regarding how you see them.
- This RP chronicles the lives of the nominators and their tributes behind the scenes. While dark plots are acceptable, the overall tone of the RP should be light-hearted and comedic. This RP is not a Cosmic Horror Story or action story about defeating evil. It is a Slice of Life comedy with some adventure to it, first and foremost. Our previous RP, Convergence, is not representative of the intended tone, and the grimdark tone of that RP is one of the main reasons it was retooled.
- Nominators and tributes alike can transform into Pokemon whenever they enter a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon World (but they can bypass this with certain items/methods or shapeshifting) or via other means outside it such as a season event, Transformation Trinkets, or shapeshifting. The players are free to choose the Pokéforms that best suit their characters and even give them color schemes outside the standard and Shiny colors, but there is a hard rule for this. If you want your character's Pokéform to be a Legendary, Mythical, or Ultra Beast, please ask the RP mods for approval. Outside the Arena, these Pokéforms are still OP, but we want to give leeway for tributes who theoretically can have them such as deities.

Detective Gamechanger's Base
A sharp-dressed man in a green suit and yellow tie is standing by the entrance of the base. He is of average height and has whitish skin, though still a bit darker. He is Billy, one of the nominators and the organizer of the party.
Indeed, after the nominators' returned and settled their problems, they decide to have fun with a party. Billy also sent invites for all the other nominators out there, as well as basically anyone else, including tributes, non associated parties, interested nominators who haven't participate yet, or even those who just wants to hang out.
The place itself in the base is refurbished for party purposes. Fancy chairs and tables are set everywhere for people to relax, as well as put food and other objects for the latter. There's also various collections showcased, including those belonging to the Detective, like his classic cars. Various themes to the base are set too, including detective noir as GC would have preferred.
Billy is now awaiting for other guests to arrive. He is also ready to give them a pleasant surprise during the party pertaining to his nation.

Alphys returns to her lab and prepares for bed, only for Undyne to call her.
"What is it, Dyney?" she yawns.
"I get that we had to get outta there before Lemmy could accidentally hit us, but wasn't Lucina coming with us?"
"Oh, right..."
"'Cuz, uh... did you leave the portal open for her?"
Alphys breaks a sweat. "Whoopsie, I closed it as soon as we left in case Lemmy fired his spell through it! I-I'll go reopen it for her!"
She ends the call and summons the portal for Lucina at the AR Pokémon World, which will take her just outside the lab.

Adeleine approaches Eye-sicle after his petrification was cured.
"Oh, thank goodness!"
Bandana Dee approaches Bale.
"Sir, i guess we did it! For now. Perhaps we should be on the lookout for any threats that might happen?"

"That's a weird way to say thanks, big guy!" Lemmy exclaimed at Eye-Sicle, pouting.
"Well, looks like that's it, then. We should probably leave too." Firebrand said to Arma.
"I agree. There is nothing else for us here." Arma said, not interested in the conversation with Lucina and Megatron.
After contacting Scipion, Lemmy and the two demons said goodbye before leaving.
Hot Springs
Nick also used a small Flamethrower to dry everyone after they exited the water.
"Ah... That was wonderful, ladies and gentlemen." James proudly said.
"Yeah..." Arthur agreed before sitting on the grass alongside his teammates.
"I have a question. Are we truly going to sleep on the grass? I certainly would not mind a couch." James asked.
"What, you want to sleep on top of us, your majesty?" Arthur sarcastically hissed.
"N-No, it is just... You know, in case if I dirty myself or... bugs." James said. Arthur rolled his eyes while Nick shrugged.
"It's fine, James. There won't be any bugs crawling on you while you are sleeping. We'll keep an eye on you if you want." Nick reassured.
"Well, that is a relief!" James exclaimed.
"Are you girls fine?" Nick then asked Shelley and Shelby.
The Looniverse
"Yeah..." Aaron sighed at both June and August.
"I just hope nothing too crazy is happening in this world in the night. But overall, we should be fine." he said before getting comfortable.
"Well... Good night everyone."
Ghavoran
After a while, Blood Moon stopped panting and his eyes turned red.
"Are you alright?" Fire Eyes asked, giving a claw to his partner. Blood Moon stared at the claw for a second and sighed as he reluctantly took it to get up.
"I am. Do not concern yourself." Blood Moon muttered. The Mawkin commander coughed a bit before sternly looking at Fire Eyes.
"Where are the others?"
"I already told everyone to go back in the fox's lair." Fire Eyes reported.
"Good..." Blood Moon said as he grabbed his spear.
"Stop giving me that concerned face. I told you I would be fine." Blood Moon hissed at Fire Eyes as the younger Mawkin stayed close.
"It is hard to stay unconcerned when you were convulsing on the ground as if you were about to die." Fire Eyes sternly answered.
"Heh... This isn't the first time you saw me like this. My body simply cannot withstand the X's remains within me. But as you can see, I am fine. I am strong."
"You still need to rest. We should join with the others back in our quarters." Fire Yes insisted.
"Fine..." Blood Moon sighed as both Mawkin went towards the teleportal to go back to their quarters.
Quiet Robe's somewhat alarmed attitude relaxed when Joaquin mentioned Fire Eyes.
"Ah yes, him... I know this young Mawkin and his squad well. He is brave and has a pure heart, a rare thing for the Mawkin. I believe you can count on him to protect you." Quiet Robe said.
"But... We all wish he would go further. In time, I am afraid he will regret his loyalty to his chieftain. I know Raven Beak too well. He worships at the altar of power. You must have seen how ruthless he can be when he trapped one of your companions alongside Dark Stanford." he wistfully sighed. The old Chozo then looked again at the trio.
"You and I share the same situation. I am imprisoned and forced to work for Raven Beak and the Mawkin tribe on important projects. Raven Beak has grand ambitions. I am aware of the attack he launched on Dark Stanford's lair. And if their alliance works well, I fear that-"
The holograph glitched for a second.
"My time is short. Joaquin? You should receive an update on your bracer using the one I made based on Dark Stanford's original creation. It is not much, but it should give you the ability to shapeshift. I understood it would be a better way for you to stay hidden than using a limited ability like the Phantom Cloak or staying in your Alebrije form. Stanford Stokes and his counterpart's technology is certainly on par with that of my people."
Quiet Robe's holograph glitched more and more, much to his sadness. There was a lot Joaquin and his friends needed to know.
"I cannot stay online any longer. But I am confident this is not the last time we shall meet. I have done... many mistakes. The creation by my tribe of the Metroids on our native homeworld SR388 is but one of those... And I hope that I shall be able to correct them, by aiding you. Goodbye, 'Brijes. And stay safe, Joaquin." the old scientist said, bowing one last time before the holograph disappeared.
Not long after, the bracer started to beep, showing Chozo letters before turning back to normal.

Lucina waved goodbye to the rest of the people at the AR Pokemon World and left for Alphys' portal with Kirby and Dedede tailing behind her, Bale also said his goodbyes as he left for his base with MD.
Lucina: Farewell everyone. Go onwards with each of your paths.
Dedede: See y'all next week or somethin'.
Kirby: Bye bye!
Bale: I too gotta leave, we will get to the bottom of this soon. And yes Bandana Dee, you guys better start looking out for possible trouble in your world
MD: Yay, it's another adventure time!

Dammit, I'll thank him later. For now I just wanna go home. I'm in a rotten mood right now. (Eye-Sicle grumbles.)
(Everyone bids the others farewell for now and Eye-Sicle contacts Stanford.) Stokes, get us back down there! (Eye-Sicle says.)
(A moment later, Eye-Sicle and the others are transported back to Eye-Sicle's lair.)

Oh, yes, I suppose so. (Shelley says.)
(Shelby looks nervously at Wes and Millie.) ...You aren't going to be far, right? (She asks.)
Relax, Shelby, we're not going to be THAT far away. Besides, you have a new friend to keep you company. (Millie says, pointing at Shelley.)
Oh, well, that's true. (Shelby nods. She looks at Shelley.) I-I mean, if you don't mind.
Oh, no, I...I figure Henry and Tenn would like some time to themselves as well after all this. (Shelley says.)
Well, if it is decided, we should all find ourselves a place to sleep for the night. (Henry says, motioning toward one direction.)
You know, we could always fly to somewhere. (Tenn points out, looking back at her wings.)
Oh, yes, of course! But we won't go as far as we did before. (Henry nods.)

(Dess's paw briefly comes out of the snow pile and waves at everyone before disappearing into it again.)

(Veena hangs her head when Quiet Robe brings up what happened to Greta.)
(Quiet Robe signs off, and shortly afterward the bracer beeps to indicate that the update came through.)
So I can shapeshift now, I reckon. That's pretty neat. Least now I won't have to worry about the Phantom Cloak expiring since I can just look like whoever. (Joaquin says, looking at his bracer.) Hey, who or what should I turn into, guys?
Not anything that's going to give you away as really being Joaquin or just make everyone suspicious, that's for sure. (Veena says.)
(Joaquin thinks for a moment, then concentrates very hard. The bracer starts glowing and, in the span of a few moments, Joaquin has shapeshifted into another bandit from back home; a chameleon-like bandit. Notably, Joaquin's alebrije state has been disguised as well.)
Joaquin, oh my gosh, you're Invisi-Bill... (Veena chuckles.)
Whoa, yeah! This is...this is surreal, man. (Joaquin says, looking down at himself. He changes back into his normal self, this time, luckily ending up as a gila monster instead of Full Alebrije form.) Now this could really come in handy, yeah?
Yeah… (Veena says. Then she sighs.) Well, now we know that Quiet Robe thinks things could go REALLY wrong if we don't stop Raven Beak and Dark Stanford...and we won't escape if we don't...
Yeah...man, I dunno what else to do right now other than to let Stanford know what's going on, if I can even tell him about this, anyway. (Joaquin says.) ...Yikes, I'm gonna have to come up with some sorta idea of what to turn into if I accompany you guys back to Dark Stanford's, 'cause I dunno what happened back there with Blood Moon but Papá sounded like he REALLY didn't want to see me. He'd probably think something is up if Invisi-Bill accompanied you back.
Don't worry about it, Joaquin. You can just go straight back to Eye-Sicle's. Sticky and I know our way back. When Fire Eyes comes back, too, we'll let him know what's going on with you and see if he has any ideas for who or what you could disguise yourself as next time you come back here, and we'll let you know what's going on as soon as we can. (Veena says.)
Please be careful, Joaquin...try to find another solution before you resort to your powers as a Full Alebrije. (Sticky says.)
Will do. (Joaquin leans down and kisses Veena.) You guys be careful, too.
(With that, the three of them go their separate ways, Joaquin going back to Eye-Sicle's Lair and Veena and Sticky going back to Dark Stanford's.)

Alphys then gets the door for Lucina and closes the portal after her group steps out of it.
"Hey there, I was just getting ready for bed when I had to fetch you, ehehehe..." She yawns again. "We should start working on that crystal first thing in the morning, alright?"
The Science Center, Testing Chamber
While Power and Mimi watch in horror at 6k1's fall, Ally downloads the rest of the season into her Databanks. She looks at Power and plans to tell her the good news(?) about Gordon and Alyx after the testing, then communicates with the Cloning Capsule operator to nominate 6k1's next tributes: Andy, with Sid as the reserve now that 6k1 was qualified this coming season for it.
Both of them must be nominated as their present-day selves to avoid temporal damage to their universe.
And by that, do you mean after Andy gave away his toys to Bonnie?
Affirmative.
Soon after, the operator gets back with Ally that both of them will be data cloned since Andy's busy with college while Sid's busy with garbage collecting.
But should Sid be punished after his clone's run? He's a toy abuser!
Correction: he USED TO dismantle his and his sister's toys to create grotesque hybrids out of them. I am 100% confident that he has since outgrown that phase, even if he is obnoxious in the present.

"Fine by me. We'll reunite here tomorrow. So wherever you'll go, don't go too far." the Cinderace said.
"Very well! Arthur, Nick? I propose we stay near our pool for the night!" James said.
"Why? You're too lazy to walk for some minutes?" Arthur sarcastically asked.
"Pft... What a stupid thought. Of course not I am not lazy! It is just... You know, I will have to take a bath tomorrow." James said.
"Oh my god..." Arthur groaned.
"And luckily for me, I should have everything to clean myself tomorrow. Perfumes, shampoo, the shiny gel for my crest-" James trailed on.
"OH MY GOD, WE GOT IT." Arthur hissed with wide angry eyes.
"Nice. I'm not against taking a swim tomorrow before our trip with the others. I'm not against modifying my morning sport a bit." Nick said.
"Hmph... Fine, we're staying here." Arthur said.
"Very well. Ladies? Gentlemen? I wish you all a very pleasant night." James wished everyone, saluting them with his usual cocky smirk.
Dark Stanford's lair
By the time the 'Brijes came back, Blood Moon and Fire Eyes already were in their quarters alongside their three partners.
By luck, it fell for Fire Eyes to patrol the lair for the night, an old habit the Mawkin's squad carried ever since they were ordered by Raven Beak to stay here.
It didn't take long for Fire Eyes to stumble across Sticky and Veena.
"There you are... I trust Joaquin went back to his allies. Knox is currently in his room if you search for him."

(Fortunately, despite the continued malfunctions, Eye-Sicle and the others arrive back at the lair without issue...including Joaquin. Luckily for Joaquin, he reappears directly behind Magnus, meaning nobody sees him before he hurriedly puts up his Phantom Cloak again.)
Dear me, you all look terrible. (Stanford says when the group shows back up.) What happened?
A real mess, that's what! (Heidi says.)
(They fill Stanford and Jared in on what happened.)
...Oh man. (Is all Jared can say when they get to the part about Meta Knight's death and Lucina's reaction to it.)
Oh dear, that is terrible! I will tell Bale that we can do all we can to help. This sounds quite serious. (Stanford says.) Well...I suppose I will send you all back to your respective places.
No, Shin stay! (Shin hangs herself back up on the coatrack and turns inanimate for now.)
Actually, think I might stick around here fer a bit, too, if you don't mind. (Heidi says.)
I probably need to go back, though. Gramps and everybody's probably wondering where I've been. (Jake says.)
(Bolty rolls into Vinny.) Oh, hey, whatchu need?
Can I go with you? (Bolty asks.) You like to blow things up, and I think I could help you blow things up! Or help you if you get in a fight! I don't have anything better to do anyway!
Hmm, there's an idea. (Vinny says.) Might be hard to explain to Milo and the others, but uh, we've seen stranger things than talking exploding balls. Figure they'd accept ya.

Hey, cool to meet you guys. (Jake tells the other dragons as they head out through the portal.)
(With everything decided, everyone else except for Heidi and Shin are sent back to their desired locations.)
I'm goin' to bed. Night. (Eye-Sicle says, swaggering up to his quarters.)
Jared, Ball, you go on to bed yourselves. I will finish making repairs up here. (Stanford says.)
Okay, night, guys. (Jared says.)
Sleep tight! (Ball adds as they leave.)

(Everyone bids each other good night. Henry and Tenn fly off somewhere close by, Wes and Millie go a little ways and around a corner, and Shelley and Shelby go into some bushes.)
(Shelley tries to go to sleep, but she hears faint splattering noises as Shelby tosses and turns.) Um...Shelby, are you alright?
Sorry...it's nothing... (Shelby says.)
(Shelley is not convinced that it IS nothing, but she rolls over and tries to go back to sleep.)
(After a moment, she hears Shelby speak up again.) You're on a Rescue Team with two other people...who are a couple...do you ever get worried that they'll leave you behind?
(Shelley's eyes pop open, knowing full well this is something she's currently struggling with.) ...Sometimes. Why do you ask? (Shelley asks.)
Oh, it's just...Wes and Millie just got married. They're currently working on deciding where they're going to live, how many kids they plan to have, and... (Shelby trails off and sighs.) They're both the first real friends I ever had. Until I met Millie, I was mostly all by myself for most of my life. I don't want them to go...if they do, I'll probably split Hisui in half without meaning to...
(Shelley sighs.) I know how you feel...Henry and Tenn just found out they had feelings for each other, too, and I've been getting worried that they'll forget about me. (Shelley says.) It doesn't help that I had pent-up feelings toward Tenn myself that I didn't act on until after they fell in love.
(Shelby looks over.) You love her?
Yes...it wouldn't have worked anyway since Tenn is straight, and I know that she and Henry are so much happier with each other, but...still...sometimes I imagine what would have happened if I had spoken up sooner and she DID actually love me back in that way. (Shelley says.)
Wow...I'm sorry, that must have hurt. (Shelby says.) Do you ever worry about them cutting you out from their lives now?
Sometimes, but...we've been through so much together and they've never left me before, so I think I'm just being irrational and overthinking things. I've always been bad about that. (Shelley says.) I certainly wouldn't abandon them. They've done so much for me that I can't even think of doing it. I owe pretty much what I am now to them.
And I wouldn't abandon Wes and Millie, either... (Shelby says.) ...Maybe they won't leave me.
I don't see why they would. I mean, I haven't known you for very long, but you seem really nice and loyal to your friends. I don't see why they'd leave you. (Shelley says.)
Maybe you're right... (Shelby says, rubbing the back of her neck.) I feel a little bit better now. You don't know how long that's been on my chest.
It feels great to get something like that off your chest, doesn't it? (Shelley says.)

Dark Stanford's Lair
Thank you, Fire Eyes...um, but we need to tell you what happened first. (Veena says.)
(She tells him about how they were contacted by Quiet Robe, who gave Joaquin's bracer an upgrade that granted him the power to shapeshift.)

The Science Center
The next phase of the testing begins. However, something unexpected happens, when 6k1's tentacles are shot, leaving her to fall.
"... She's not going to fall forever, now is she? Is there even a ground for her to fall into?" Dave asks, a touch of concern visible in his face. However, he trusts his sister to be able to form up an idea.
AR Pokémon World
Aqua nods in understanding at Lucina's words.
"How war never changes...." Megatron muses to himself, "it brings out the worst of us. The beauty in destruction is undeniable. And yet.... how easily one loses sight of their purpose.... as I did."
He then notices Terra and Ventus. "What do you want?" he asks brusquely.
"We simply wish to hear what you have to say," the older Keyblade wielder replies.
"There is no more to say. You have no business with my personal matters."
"But—" Ventus starts to protest, but Terra stops him with a hand on the younger boy's shoulder and a shake of the head.
"Don't push him, Ven. It's alright if you do not wish to speak of it right away. But there's a saying I know: some wounds cannot be healed on their own. If you want to talk about it, we'll be listening. But don't let it destroy you.... as it had us."
".... Very well. I will consider it."
That's when Richardson calls that it's time to return back to base, for now. The Wayfinder trio bids farewell to everyone else, as does Megatron (with a cold nod), before boarding their ship and departing home.
Hope: "Let's go. We'll be together." Lightning: "I only know... that soon, we'll be together."

Dark Stanford's lair
Fire Eyes's calm face fell down when he learned that Quiet Robe contacted the 'Brijes alongside Joaquin.
"He what??" he exclaimed in anger. Fortunately, the Mawkin was quick to regain his calm and he let out a sigh.
"My apologies... Rest assured, I will not speak to the others about this. I understand why Quiet Robe is doing this. But I will not aid you escape Dark Stanford, I will simply protect you until you leave... or not. Joaquin is not the only one Quiet Robe warned about my chieftain and the fox. He already said the same thing to me. It is true that I do not approve of their ruthlessness, even more than some Chozo like Solid Rock... But it is necessary. Recent events today have shown this."
Fire Eyes walked around and looked at the window with a stern expression
"Lord Raven Beak dispatched another squad earlier to investigate an attack in a Pokémon world. Space Pirates Balban and their allies ransacking a city against your nominator allies. And yet, though your friends won, they were clearly left weakened and were unable to stop the traitors in their ranks. And the squad believes with certitude that the pirates were far from finished. Their wars have only just begun."
Fire Eyes turned towards Veena and Sticky with a determined look.
"What I mean to say is that multiverse is filled with evil leagues similar to the late Legion of Doom. The dark nominators, the real ones, unlike the fox here, serve as a perfect example of its corruption. And the nominators are far from ready. They are weak and naive. The Cybertronian Megatron and his crew are the perfect examples of such weakness. They are incapable of preserving peace. And in this multiverse, people only follow the strong. In order to bring prosperity to the multiverse, it must be unified so that all threats are eradicated. Only my tribe can bring order."
Fire Eyes sighed and looked at his claws. Those words was what Raven Beak kept saying again and again ever since he hatched. There was a small part of him that thought it was wrong, but he was confident that he was doing the right thing. Fire Eyes shut his eyes, reminiscing again of his time with Blood Moon and Brave Spear before looking at the 'Brijes again.
"On a more on-topic subject... Blood Moon decided that our next operation will be to search for the Stanford of your homeworld. He will send to Dark Stanford the proposition tomorrow."
Fire Eyes let out a scoff.
"Of course, Blood Moon wanted to do this in his way... razing the cities we come across and kill every witness. But Solid Rock proposed that we disguised ourselves and claim the target without too much bloodshed instead. We know your realm is similar to some of Earth Prime's arid plains. Inside those plains, are many tribes called... "Amerindians". Those tribes share a culture similar to that of the Chozo long ago."
Fire Eyes looked at the window again, then at the 'Brijes. The Mawkin warrior let out a small smile.

The Science Center, Testing Chamber
As 6k1 continues falling, she tries finding her robo-tentacles with her clip. She can still feel them moving, but she can't teleport them back to her. She senses them moving farther and farther away from her as she almost hits the ground, but Claire summons a giant cushion for her in case she crashes through the safety net.
"Oh, thank Celestia for that..." says Power.
"But won't she need to ask Ichi to make new ones?" asks Mimi.
"Worry not!" says Claire while petting her, "because this is just a simulation!"
She ends it by turning the room back to normal, and 6k1's tentacles are instantly restored.
"And that concludes the testing!" Claire announces on the intercom. "I would've set you up for a Boss Battle as the final test, but it's way past midnight already!"
6k1 gets up and yawns. "Good to see that my tentacles are working as intended! But before we get the report about the break-in the other day, how far did they fly?"
"900 miles (1,448.41km). You were actually up a hill in San Francisco, and you were able to sense them all the way to Albuquerque!"
"But wasn't the former city sunken before the original Hunger Games began?"
"Yes, it would've been in District 4 had it survived, but I simulated Earth Prime's SF for this!"
Meanwhile, Power asks Ally for the live season report, who tells her that Elfilin thought that Data Andy should be "20% cooler" for stuffing Ashley in a turkey carcass while DBS accidentally messed up their cooking for Data Sid, who got upset about it.
Additionally, Marsh briefly transformed everyone into bald humans.

You know, it IS a little curious how often it seems we lose one of our two tributes early on like that. (Stanford remarks.) But anyway, is there anything you or Heidi would like to tell me before you go to bed?
(Joaquin, at this point, isn't sure if he SHOULD tell Stanford or just hurry back to tribute quarters, but he feels he has no way to explain his sudden recovery from his cold nor sudden ability to shapeshift. He sighs and calls off the Phantom Cloak.)
Joaquin? When'd you get down here? Ain't ya supposed to be in bed? (Kenny asks.)
Sorry, I...uh...I've kinda been places... (Joaquin says.) Uh, can I explain what happened with Heidi in here?

Well, uh, after all that, the wildest thing happened: Another Chozo who's on our side, his name is Quiet Robe, he contacted us and he remotely upgraded my bracer. (Joaquin says.) So, uh...I can shapeshift now, and now I don't need to use the Phantom Cloak and its limited energy anymore.
Shapeshiftin'? You mean you can transmogrify yerself into someone else? No foolin'? (Heidi asks.)
(Joaquin concentrates again and turns into a double of Heidi herself.) No foolin'.
WHOA! Dern, that really IS somethin'... (Heidi says, a bit startled to see Joaquin morph into her exact double. She laughs.) Guess I know who to call if I can't make a showin' to play my guitar fer people.
Yeah, except I dunno how to play a guitar... (Joaquin laughs. He changes back into his normal self.) This is gonna take some getting used to, especially if I'm gonna hafta do this often, but I guess I'll get used to it soon enough. It's so surreal to have the ability to turn into someone else now.

I'm glad to hear that your friends have someone else on their side. (Stanford says.) I suppose Quiet Robe must have learned about you through Fire Eyes and wanted to help you all.
Actually, uh, it mighta been through a dream he had. I don't think Fire Eyes knew about this. (Joaquin says, changing back to normal.) I know Quiet Robe mentioned seeing an alebrije in a dream when he called me, like what happened to me...
How curious. If this isn't just some strange coincidence, then perhaps Sticky's kind must be trying to help you from whatever realm they reside in. Whatever the case, again, it is nice that you have another ally. (Stanford says.) Perhaps I should upgrade Kenny's bracer so he can shapeshift as well if and when he goes back there with you. I am sure I can figure out a way to copy whatever upgrade Quiet Robe sent to Joaquin's bracer over to Kenny's.
Well, doubt I'll use it much unless I have to, but I ain't gonna stop you. Figure it might come in handy one day. (Kenny says.)
Indeed. You all get some rest. I think all of you need it. (Stanford says.) And Heidi, it is paramount that you do not tell anyone else about this. Not yet.

(As they head to tribute quarters, Heidi lightly nudges Kenny.) Hey, thanks again fer savin' me earlier.

(Heidi is smiling as they continue on their way.)
(As Stanford is getting ready to get to work again, he suddenly hears a voice say:) Joaquin shapeshift??
(Stanford freezes. He completely forgot about Shin, who he realizes just heard EVERYTHING.)
Ma'am, no, no, Joaquin cannot shapeshift. (Stanford says.)
Yes Joaquin can! (Shin says.)
...Okay, fair, but do not tell a soul about it, please. It's important that nobody else know. (Stanford says.) You understand, right?
Okay! Shin won't tell anyone! (The karakasa nods enthusiastically before jumping back onto the rack.)
(Stanford is a bit uneasy as he gets back to work.)
Dark Stanford's Lair
(Veena is a little shocked when Fire Eyes' reaction to Quiet Robe contacting them is to get angry for a moment. She listens to what he has to say in startled silence. It scares her a little to think about just how many evil (or at least genuinely evil) groups might be out there in the Multiverse. Life seemed so much simpler to her when she wasn't aware that there were countless other worlds out there beyond her own (the parallel world of the alebrijes she now knows to exist aside).)
(Speaking of Durango, it turns out that the Mawkin are planning to go there in search of its Stanford. Even though it's going to be a much more covert mission with little fighting involved (she inwardly thanks Solid Rock for that; she does not want to see the level of damage she's aware the Mawkin can cause occur in her world), the idea of the Mawkin going to her world still makes her a little nervous regardless.)
Alright...we'll do that. See you later... (Veena says. She's still a bit anxious as she and Sticky head back to quarters.)
(They find Knox on his bed facing away from them.)
Knox? (Veena asks.)
What? (He asks in an irritable tone.)
...I don't know what Blood Moon said to you back there, but-
(Veena screams in alarm when Knox suddenly grabs her by the throat, violently rips her off of Sticky's shoulders, and holds her up to his face.)
What he said to me is none of yer damn business! (Knox says.)
I-I'm sorry...I was just worried...especially since you told us you didn't want to see Joaquin again afterward... (Veena wheezes, trying to wring herself loose.)
If I see Joaquin again...I'm gonna kill him. (Knox says.) He's gettin' in my way...pray I don't decide that YOU'RE gettin' in my way either.
(He drops Veena at this point, and she lands in a heap of coils on the ground. Veena looks up at him in shock.)
Knox...you sound like you're talking like Blood Moon. Don't listen to anything he might have told you about us. He just wants to mold you into being like him...stand up to him and not let him influence you. (Veena says.)
If I stand up to him...he's...he's gonna kill me. (Knox says, his voice starting to sound fearful.) I ain't got a choice. I have to do what he says...
If he does try to kill you, we'll be ready to fight him with you, or at the very least get you away from him. (Veena says.) Just don't keep listening to him...we know you can be much better than this.
(Knox doesn't answer and rolls into his bed, not responding further.)
(Veena slithers back up onto Sticky's shoulders and begins to weep as Sticky gently hugs her.) Oh, Sticky...I'm scared we're going to lose him...

The Base's Preparations
Bale returned to his home base, ready to relay all that happened, though Meta Knight's loss was weighing on him. He'd seen him die before in the arena before he settled on the data clones out of conscience but now he was dead for real.
Bale: Man, what are we going to do?
Diny and MG looked with concern at Bale, they noticed he was distraught at something.
Diny: Bale, what's wrong pal?
MG: Something bad happened there didn't it?
Bale: It's Meta Knight he's... Dead.
Both of his assistants were shocked to hear the news as was Daffy who even lost his usually cheery demeanor knowing a genuine tragedy.
Diny: But what about Lucina, is she safe and sound?
Bale: Fortunately she is, but she has also come to hate me for what happened to Meta Knight.
MG: Pythor was responsible for that, wasn't he?
Bale: Yes.
MG: Argh, this has to be a big joke! Why does the Legion's evil fallout keeps coming back to haunt us like this!?
Bale: It's all my fault, all I had to do was just not bring Pythor back but I genuinely thought of him as a friend once... And not just Pythor but Zetsu betrayed me as well
MG: Who's Zet- Wait, don't you mean?
Bale: Zoffy, yes.
MG: Bale this isn't your fault then, it's that one eyed fake father figure's fault.
Bale: But why did work all that hard to train me and was even proud of my growth?
Aa he said all that he started to hyperventilate before screaming in anger and smashing a wall in fury.
Bale: That lying traitorous, I trusted him I loved him like a father and yet it was all a lie from him. Meta Knight is gone because of me, because of him...
Daffy: Master Bale I could suggest we try and resurrect Meta Knight ourselves, your machine could do that right?
Bale: But he died outside of the arena, I can't do anything about incidents outside of the area.
Daffy: That is a real shame then.
Diny then approached Bale and hugged him.
Diny: Bale, I am really sorry you're going through all of this. I got to know Meta Knight he was strong, selfless and brave. And now he's gone all because of a lying cheat. I promise once we find Pythor we'll fry him into a steak.
Bale: That reminds me of... THE VILLAIN'S SCHOOL, PYHTOR MIGHT BE THERE!
MG: Of course, let me and Diny come with you Bale!
Bale: Alright this shall be quick but we need to get going and find any clues that could lead us to them.
MG: On it.
Both then left the base to try and find Pythor.
A Nightmarish Time
Lucina respected Alphys' decision despite her want to stop the new threat as soon as possible, as she rationalized that they all needed rest. She told Kirby and Dedede that they should all rest with the scientist, then saw Kirby and Dedede fall asleep almost immediately while she had issues even closing her eyes, thing were dire enough already and she feared that it was just the beginning. She began to think to herself about what happened and her recently resurfaced fears.
Lucina: Meta Knight... I-am sorry, I couldn't save you, I could have but... I was too weak.
As she thought of it she cried in silence, she even began to question to herself why this happened to her and why destiny seemed deadset on not letting her be happy just when she had regained her hopes. As she finally seemed to sleep, she had a dream that started out nice as she was back in her own timeline's Ylisse, everyone she knew was there from her parents at the older ages she remembered, her younger brother, her aunt, their friends and her own group of friends from the Second Generation; and to boot even Meta Knight, Kirby, Bandana Dee and Dedede were there at her side, this dream brought so much happiness at the moment to her, enough for her to not realize it was all in her head.
Lucina: Everyone, wh-what's the occasion?
Her close and loyal friend, Severa, gave her an elbow bump.
Severa: Has the birthday girl forgotten her own birthday party, Gods are you dense, Lucy.
Meta: We were all here to celebrate your anniversary Lucina.
Chrom: It's all okay Lucina, just sit down and enjoy your celebration.
However as she prepared to rejoice, she saw as Robin turned on Chrom and stabbed him to the horror of everyone watching, then she turned around with demonic eyes. Lucina started to break down in shock at everything about her past resurfacing so suddenly .
Lucina: FATHER! NO!
As she teared up and tried to reach his corpse her mother grinned at her while sporting a demonic voice familar to her.
Grima: Why hello there, little one, missed me?
Lucina: No, not you. You can't be alive we slayed you for good, this isn't real.
Grima: Is it tiny one? I am not real enough for you?... Or for your father? Well then, let's see if this is real enough for you!
As the Fell Dragon spoke from Robin's body, it manifested its full form and with a deadly spike attack killed most of the attendants with the exception of Kirby, Dedede, Meta and Bandana Dee, to Lucina's utter horror. The survivors besides Lucina got ready to fight only for them all to be blasted away and the culprit to be revealed to be Zahab.
Lucina: E-Everyone!
Zahab: Run and hide all you want, little princess, but even in your homeland none of your loved ones are safe.
He then caused the ground to open as Meta Knight was swallowed up by it, Lucina just screamed his name as she saw Kirby and his friends being killed as well by Pythor who turned to look at her grinning.
Pythor: Well, well, well if it isn't the princess with no kingdom. To think you failed everybody here as you always do, no matter how much you try all who you love will die, now wallow in misery so we can have a good reason to put you out of your misery.
She was on the ground in pure grief-induced mental shutdown just staring at the ruined scenario without saying a word as Zetsu's mutated form appeared and consumed her, causing her to wake up while screaming which startled Dedede and Kirby.
Dedede: Cina, what's the big deal?!
Kirby: Miss Lucy, what happened?
Lucina: It's nothing just... A nightmare.
''However both could tell that it more than just a nightmare as she had a forlorn look
Kirby: Was it about Meta Knight?
Lucina: Not just that, it was also... About my family, my original family. The one I lost to Grima.
She said all that in tears and sobbing, she had years ago been able to overcome this grief and move on and yet all that was undone and she was even worse odd than before, now with her emotional stability in pieces. Dedede and Kirby both gave her a comforting hug with Kirby even burying his head in her arm to demonstrate his empathy.
Kirby: Ms. Lucy, I got a confession to make... I too had a nightmare about Meta's loss.
Dedede: I too had one, I just can't stop thinking about it, I can't believe he's really gone. And I also got a confession to make-
Before he admitted the truth of Meta Knight's proposal he took a deep breath and gave her a disheartened look as he broke the news at last.
Dedede: He wanted to propose to you, Lucina, we discussed it and he would've done so today. Just a day after he.'''
Lucina: After he died. When he was planning on truly settling down with me. And I failed to save him like I failed my family and my friends. I'm a failure and I'm not worthy of Meta's blade, why'd he even entrust me with it?
She then took it out and looked at the blade's reflection before sighing sadly. Dedede and Kirby tried to cheer up.
Dedede: Don't be so hard on yourself Princess Lucina, he chose ya because Meta knew you were strong enough to carry on the good fight. You got to not doubt yourself if he didn't doubt you.
Kirby: I miss Meta too, but we can't let you blame yourself for his death. You're an amazing person and important to many, Lucy, not just to Meta Knight but to your alternate family's, your other friends and even me.
Lucina: Everyone thanks. That means a lot.
Dedede: You should rest again, Lucina. You said before that fate could be changed, I'm sure you will succeed in bringing those evil guys to justice and bring Meta Knight back.
Kirby: I won't stop until you smile, Miss Lucy, I promise it.
Lucina: Alright, I've moped too much over this. It's time to truly begin the fight against evil... After we rest some more.
Dedede: Now that's the spirit! Let's go.
The King immediately fell asleep as did Kirby while Lucina took some time but once again slept, this time in peace of mind.

Bandana Dee, Ribbon, Adeleine, and Magolor arrive at Bale's Base. Mr. Star then arrives.
"Are you okay?"
Bandana Dee then tells Mr. Star everything about the previous events, including Meta Knight's fate and the presence of the Space Pirates.
"Oh, dear. We have to ensure that my palace, and your places are safe, before the pirates come back. But now you should sleep."
"You're right... We should go home..."
"Night..."
They then went on board to Mr. Star's vehicle, which left the base.
Spacepod
Kirby is still sleeping in his room. Ribbon then approaches him in his bed, tucks in, pats his head, and went to sleep. Though she thought about Meta Knight's death and Lucina, feeling sorry for the two.
Princess and Silver Knight
The Arena
(As the first night fell upon the Arena, two young teenagers met.)
Morgan: "Oh, hello there."
Marc: "Morgan? How did you...? Oh, I get it. You're her counterpart from another universe."
Morgan: "Oh, you know my name. That's great. I'm Morgan, daughter of the late Robin and Lucina, and Exalt of Ylisse. Now how about you introduce yourself?"
Marc: "... I'm Marc, son of Robin and Lucina. I have a twin sister also named Morgan. You know, different universes and all. Which explains why you have the Falchion and the Fire Emblem with you."
Morgan: "Great analysis. You really are Father's child... But I wanna be sure about it, so how about we have a friendly spar?"
Marc: "... Sure, why not?"
(They readied their stances, and began their friendly match. To Marc's surprise, the other Morgan matched his blows surprisingly well, even to a point when he would have defeated his own sister, and with a grace she has never had. The Exalt, meanwhile, was also surprised to find her counterpart's skills being equal to that of her own.)
Morgan: "Wow, you're really good. With how you fight, you really are Father and Mother's child."
Marc: "Thanks. Same goes to you. Your techniques are very graceful, in a way my sister never could quite manage. Then again, she's always been more of a spellcaster than a swordswoman, unlike me or you."
Morgan: "Thank you. I know that's high praise, coming from you."
Marc: "I know what I said."
(Having confirmed each other's identities, they continued their spar some more, before calling it a draw.)
Morgan: "Whew! That took a lot out of me."
Marc: "Me too."
They shared a laugh.
Morgan: "We should meet again, some other time. Preferably when we get out of this 'game' of theirs."
Marc: "Sure. I'd be happy to do a comparison of our universes when we next meet."
Morgan: "Yippee!" (She jumps about in joy.)
Marc: "... You know you're the Exalt, right? I guess some things stay the same between you and my sister. Like the hyperactivity." (He chuckles.) "I'll see you around, then?" (He offers her a hand.)
Morgan: "Yeah, I'll see you around too." (She takes it with a smile.)
(They parted ways, wondering what could happen next in the future.)

Fortunately, Dave's faith in his sister is well-placed. 6k1 manages to get out of her situation, and the testing ends.
"That was impressive, sis. I'm pleased with the testing."
He briefly checks at the season to find that Andy is.... yikes. He cringes slightly at the teenager's misdeed.
"Gotta keep an eye on that kid, then; and here I thought it'd be Sid who'd be the troublemaker...."
Hope: "Let's go. We'll be together." Lightning: "I only know... that soon, we'll be together."

(Eye-Sicle just throws up his paws and goes to bed after the Edsel is totaled by what he guesses were rogue nanobots or something, feeling he has no reason to continue keeping up with the season at this point.)
Dark Stanford's Lair
(Once Knox is sure Veena and Sticky are asleep, he sneaks out of tribute quarters and goes over to Dark Stanford's quarters.)
Stan, you in? (Knox asks, knocking on the door to the fox's quarters.)
(Knox hears some absolutely ghastly noises coming from the other side of the door. "The hell?" But then Dark Stanford answers the door.)
You could have warned me next time, Knox. What do you want? (Dark Stanford says.)
Can we talk? (Knox asks.)
About what? (Dark Stanford asks.)
(In a hushed voice, Knox says:) I need ya to give me the ability to suck people's souls outta their bodies and eat 'em.
You could not already do that? (Dark Stanford asks.) Well...I suppose it is nice to see you take some initiative for once. And I trust you won't do that to any of my knock-offs since I NEED them.
Yeah, yeah, whatever, just give it to me. (Knox says.)
Fine, I will. You should have it by morning. Now leave. (Dark Stanford says.)
(Knox starts heading back to tribute quarters.)
(Dark Stanford can't help but feel curious for just WHY Knox was asking to have this sort of power, but he figures it's better that Knox have some other way to contribute to his mission. He gets to work on upgrading Knox's bracer.)
(But just as he starts to do so, three robots suddenly enter his quarters.) Ah, wonderful...who have you found?
(All three robots release whom they have captured. Much to Dark Stanford's surprise, though, he realizes they are all releasing atoms from the same person, as though they had all tried to capture the same person at once. The thought of having such happen to him makes his skin crawl.)
(A Lucario takes shape on the floor. He seems bigger and older than Aaron, but younger than Darnell, and wears a tattered-looking beret. He lies crumpled on the floor for a moment before Dark Stanford goes over and roughly shakes him.)
Stand up, you!! (Dark Stanford snaps.)
(The Lucario slowly gets up to his feet and looks at Dark Stanford with tired, sad eyes.) What? (The Lucario asks in a deep, morose-sounding voice.)
(Dark Stanford seems outraged.) Useless machines! I send you off and this is who you come back with? An intoxicated Lucario?
(One of the robots produces a holographic screen. Much to Dark Stanford's shock, he sees this tired-looking Lucario putting up a surprisingly good fight against his robots until this one and two others finally rush him and take him down.)
Interesting... (Dark Stanford immediately slaps one of his bracers onto the Lucario's wrist.) I must say, you put up a very good fight against my robots. Maybe there is a use for you here after all.
Mmhhh... (The Lucario shrugs.)
Now...come morning, I want you to go out into another universe and find someone that looks much like me. If you are successful, you will stay. If not, you will be dismissed. Alright? (Dark Stanford asks.)
Whatever... (The Lucario says.)
Alright...before you leave...tell me your name. (Dark Stanford asks.)
...Lyric. (The Lucario mumbles.)
"Lyric"...your parents must have loved you very much if they gave you a name like that. (Dark Stanford scoffs.) Now get out of my sight. Your bracer will let you know if one of my knock-offs is close by.
(Lyric makes another disinterested noise before leaving.)

Alphys's Lab
Alphys orders some mattresses online, then leads Lucina's group upstairs to lay them next to her bed. Once they've settled, she flops on her own, which is a cube that instantly unfolds itself when she uses it.
"Goodnight everyone," she says before turning off the lights. She tosses and turns as she overhears Lucina's group waking up from nightmares, but manages to sleep through the night.
The Arena
Night 1
After he and Data Sid beat up the Immaculate One for whatever crime she committed in a past season (unaware that this is her first time here) when he sees ominous signs left behind by one of the tributes.
An epidemic is spreading... you must stop it...
The warning wasn't signed, but Andy heeds it either way. He comes across Lucien, Arurandeisu, and the giant pre-timeskip Edelgard writhing with S. aureus. He reels at them and yells, "Sickness must be purged!" as he burns them all with a magic wand he found nearby. Once he's sure that they're dead, he looks for a bathroom to take a long shower in before heading to bed.
Meanwhile, Sid decides to sleep at Pointman Elite's camp, but he scans him for anything dangerous. Pointman discovers that Sid brought his old toys with him and promptly kicks him out for them.
"So what?" Sid yells at him, "I may have outgrown that phase, but they still bring back good memories!"
Day 2 to Day 4
The next day, Andy helps Goliath and Armored Armadillo thaw out a prehistoric raccoon by casting the same fire spell last night on it, thawing it out. It becomes attached to them, so they argue on who gets to keep it. Later that night, Andy discovers that Morgan was the one who warned him of S. aureus and runs away screaming. Ribbon(?) asks him why, but he just continues running.
Meanwhile, Sid gets some lunch from the fridge but falls in love with it, and to his surprise, it somehow loves him back. However, he gets kidnapped away from it later that night, and the Immaculate One goes off to find him, but by the time she arrives, he has long starved to death.
The next day, Andy's still freaking out fromt that discovery, so he distracts himself by having a watermelon-growing competition with Tina, which he wins fair and square. He then confronts Marc for the other tributes he manipulated by singing the Attack on Titan theme to him. Suddenly, he and everyone else vanish from existence and are instantly brought back, but none of them know what happened. Andy just shrugs and returns to his camp, only to find a Blue Shell that crashed into it.
"Good thing my old toys are safe with Bonnie..." he sighs, "Hope they're doing well..."
The Science Center, Testing Chamber
As the others regroup with 6k1 in the chamber, Power continues watching the season on Dave's phone, but her mind briefly goes blank at Dead By Sunrise's erasure, but the Protective Charm Billy gifted her long ago restores her memory of them.
"Oh Celestia, they got erased for erasing the Arena?!" she says. "But anyway 6k1, congrats on the training!"
"You did great, Mom!" Mimi nuzzles her while Ally gives her a thumbs-up.
"Thanks!" she says. "Now what about the reports?"
Ally nods. Before Claire Hartmut explains the break-in, I first want to inform Power Stroke that Ichigo Montoya's tributes, Gordon Freeman and Alyx Vance, got 3rd Place in the previous season!
Power squees and trots in place, because she also just remembered that today is Star Wars Day on Earth Prime... the 1st anniversary of their platonic love confession.
I'll congratulate him first thing in the morning! she thinks.
It is my pleasure to see you delighted for your best friend's qualification for the Battle Royale! says Ally, HOWEVER, I have just received the report from the Travel Department about the Space Pirates Balban...
She tells the group how the battle went, and they all hang their heads low.
"I knew Meta Knight was just a clone last season..." says Power.
"Sorry to hear..." says Mimi.
"But Claire," says 6k1, "can the Medical Department revive him?"
"Okay, let me call Dr. Phoenix for this..."
She relays to him the info, and after a while, she ends the call and sighs.
"According to him, his department has all the tools needed to dig up Meta Knight's remains and revive him. However, they have to take his loved one's feelings into account, as per their policy on out-of-Arena revivals."
"What do you mean?" asks Power.
"Unlike Detective Gamechanger, whose Voidlands injuries were far too severe to cure with their current technology, Meta Knight can be revived by the Medical Department. But Lucina fell into despair and broke her trust with Bale, and Dr. Phoenix believes that reviving Meta Knight might not instantly repair their friendship."
"Why not?" asks 6k1.
"Because he believes that Lucina might still hold it against Bale for what happened during the battle even if Meta Knight is revived. It won't be easy for her to forgive her nominator and move forward from this, so Dr. Phoenix decided against reviving Meta Knight so she can have more time to process this."
"I see..."
"But if the Meta Knight last season was a clone..." says Mimi, "then can't Bale just continue summoning him for the Arena?"
"Technically yes... but he must grieving for his real death, too. Doing that would just be denying the harsh realities of permanent death. And besides, I once asked the same about those Sayaka clones before the original one was rescued, but Dave called me out for that... right, brother?"
6k1 crosses her arms and sighs, remembering that discussion about data clones. She also thinks about how her tributes will react if they permanently lose someone they're close to, just like Lucina. How's 6k1's family, especially her mom, going to react if Chara takes Asriel away? She's sure they can trust her in getting him back... but what if they disown her for her "irresponsibility", as the Fallen Child would call it?

Night time on ZDR didn't mean that it was peaceful. The storm hitting the planet had intensified greatly, with violent winds scorching the surface.
Exiting the Transport Capsule leading to Itorash, his flying fortress, Raven Beak immediately got greeted by two Elite soldiers who bowed at him. Without even looking at them, the warlord led the way in the stormy night, several banners and flags with the Mawkin's emblem floating in the strong wind.
"Tanumar Ashkar Behek. The survey mission of the Pokémon world n°75 is finished. Unfortunately, there are no samples of the pirates and their allies left." one of the soldiers reported.
"Anything on the fallen knight of Dreamland?" Raven Beak sternly asked as they entered a facility. The elite soldier shook his head.
"Such a waste... A sample of their DNA would have proven useful." the Mawkin leader hissed, visibly displeased.
Whatever Raven Beak had planned to do with Meta Knight or the fallen minions of Dark Bale's DNA, it would have ended badly if he had his claws on them.
"Tanumar. On another note, Blood Moon's squad is performing well at capturing Stokes's counterparts, and their commander indicated that all of Stokes's servants have performed more decently than before. Furthermore, there were no indications of deserters yet. We might be able to satisfy the fox sooner than expected. He should soon be ready to fully dedicate himself to your designs." the other soldier said.
"The sooner it will be, the better. As necessary as he is for the Metroid project, I tire of Quiet Robe's slowness. The old snake is stalling. The Thoha tribe has always been wasteful fools, and they paid the price for their weakness. The fox should better not fail me as they have." Raven Beak coldly answered, looking at his claws.
The trio entered a room and Raven Beak immediately walked towards a high ledge before folding his arms. The two soldiers got by the ledge's side.
The room was filled with Mawkin, mainly soldiers and some commanders, all staring silently at their leader.
The crowd stepped asides as two Robot Chozo Soldiers modified by Dark Stanford approached, carrying with them a naked Mawkin, a defector, with his claws tied behind his back. With his pitiful state, he visibly has already been tortured and beaten up before.
One of the robots slashed its electromagnetic blade at the prisoner's back. The naked Chozo restrained a scream and he was forced to kneel right in front of Raven Beak. The prisoner didn't say anything. He just defiantly looked at the warlord.
Not saying a word, Raven Beak seized the defector by the neck and lifted him, his claws mercilessly digging into his skin, causing blood to come from it. The Mawkin defiantly restrained a scream again.
Raising his Arm Cannon, Raven Beak fired a projection of pink aura, engulfing the traitor's body. Without an armor to protect himself, the Chozo's body got violently hurt by the aura from the inside, akin to radiation.
Though the Chozo tried his best to resist, he couldn't hold back anymore. The defector let out a screech of pure pain as he struggled and wildly moved his legs, kicking his leader's body. But Raven Beak did not let go for one second. The Chozo's kicks didn't even leave a scratch on his armor. The Mawkin leader kept firing, watching the traitor in the eyes. Despite his inhumane screams, every other soldier watched, not unlike they all watched Colby being tortured by their leader, then Greta being imprisoned.
Eventually, The Chozo stopped moving. His face clearly showed his last moments were agonizing.
Raven Beak unceremoniously let go of the Chozo's body, which collapsed on the floor. The cruel warlord looked at his troops, his helmet's eyes flashing.
"There is no power without sacrifice. Power... is everything."
"HADAR SEN OLMEN! HADAR SEN OLMEN! HADAR SEN OLMEN!" all soldiers repeated almost religiously, raising their spears at the same time.
The Mawkin tribe's ruler wordlessly exited the room as his troops kept fanatically chanting their motto.
Looniverse
Aaron awoke with a silent gasp, eyes wide open. He silently groaned, not wanting to wake up the others before looking at the ceiling.
Of course he had to have a nightmare after risking his life against Vahirom.
Sighing, Aaron looked at Lucian and Oscar from afar. At least the Lycanroc was sleeping well, comfortable inside Oscar's arms.
Being stuck to Oscar must reassure him even in sleep... I can't help but be a bit jealous. Aaron thought with a smirk. The sight of the two close friends dissipated his nightmare's memory.
Aaron also looked at Dess (or rather, them disguised as a pile of snow). He was happy too that the Hisuian Zoroark felt at ease with them around despite their tragic past. Hopefully one day, they will be able to make peace with it.
Aaron briefly looked at August and July before turning towards his bedmate. The Lucario's gaze saddened for a moment, remembering what Darnell said about June's parents. Her mother was dead, her father was missing, she was bullied at school and she even lost sight of her best friend for a long time.
Yet here she was, one of the most cheerful and upbeat Pokémon he ever met. Even in bad situations like on SR388, June always managed to keep her smile as much as she could.
Frankly, Aaron was glad to have met June. And not just because of Oscar and Lucian.
What was her father's name again... Lyric, was it? He must have been traumatized by his wife's death if he still hasn't come back. I hope he is alright, wherever he is... I'm sure he would be proud of his daughters if he ever see them again... Aaron thought, wishing he could do something to help him, being the kindhearted rescuer he was.
Taking a deep breath, Aaron closed his eyes and soon fell asleep again, but not before gently grasping June's claws unconsciously.

Also, wait, Yang knows of my existence? But I generally just summon the tributes into the Arena. But he still made a Sim of me, so I hope he doesn't know I sent his brother one season ago...

Bale and MG, alongside a pair of robotic guards arrived at the Villain's School, Bale was determined to find the traitor and punish him.
Bale: We're breaking in now, MG you ready?
MG: Never ever been readier, HIYA!
Bale kicked down the door with a loud scream only to hear no noise and find not a single soul receiving him.
Bale: Huh, he must be safeguarded here.
MG: Or maybe he already left.
Bale: No problem, we'll track him down with ease with both my base's and the School's system.
He then entered the hall where Pythor used to monitor the place, and tried to use the computer there only for him to be unable to access a single file.
Bale: Crap, he must've blocked it so I couldn't see what he was doing before he left. And Vexus likely helped him.
MG: We could ask Xochi to break us in on the files instead.
Bale: Alright.
He then opened his communicator with the AI.
Bale: Xochi, could you please unlock the Villain's School files?
Xochi: I'll try.
However unknown to Bale, Xochi had been given a special program to prevent him from revealing secrets that Dark Bale wouldn't want revealed at the time so the AI instead pretended to glitch out and gave a non-answer.
Xochi: It appears that the firewall protecting the files is too strong. Perhaps a full system reboot would give us control of the place.
Bale: That's not what I need, I need a way to find out where Pythor left for! And Vexus while I'm at it.
Xochi: Unfortunately I believe this is all I can do.
Bale: Crap, I guess we're out of luck then.
MG: Alright just remember Alphys still has the dark crystal, she just has to analyze it and we'll find Pythor and whoever's behind all this trouble in no time soon.
Bale: Yeah... Wait a minute, I just remembered something, we could try and bring back Meta Knight with the help of other Nominators.
MG: That's right, all we gotta do is message 6K1, I think she has a scientist that could help. Just be aware that we need to be conscious of whether or not this is a good thing.
Bale: We'll be doing that for Meta Knight, it will be worth any pain we might go through... And Lucina doesn't deserves to live without him, nor does any of his friends.
MG: You're right, well then it's time to get in talks for that business!
With their attempts to get in frustrated, Bale decided to destroy the Villain's School, figuring that if would likely just self-destruct if he did get into the files.
Bale: Goodbye old Villain's School, I'll just use a robotic staff when you're rebuilt.
He then left a few bombs inside and after exiting and moving far away enough he detonated them, blowing the whole place to pieces.
Bale: This is going to take so much money to repair.
MG: I'm sure we can just explain why we did all that, after all Pythor's becoming a wanted snake very soon, just like in his home universe.
Bale: Right, but let us waste no more time, we got a Knight to resurrect.
Both then warped back to Bale's base with Xochi's help. Once inside, Bale called for 6K1's center, hoping that her scientists had a way to bring back the dead and tried to arrange for a meeting, so as to not interrupt her operations abruptly he left a voice message.
Bale: Uh, Six, it's me Bale. I hope your scientists aren't too busy but may we come over and see if we can resurrect Meta Knight? He died outside of the arena and I really want to amend that wrong.
He then hanged up, feeling a knot in his stomach and being quite unsure of what to do next. As he finished calling, Diny and the rest of his main team appeared all looking as saddened by what they heard as Bale, but were glad to see him beginning to try and fix his mistakes.
Bale: Okay, I'll need to gather some of the old gang back. I know which tributes will be glad to help me out... Xochi, open communication calls with the Steven Universe World, we got some old friends and allies to call upon.
Xochi: At once!
Bale looked on determined to bring down whatever new evil arose, and he was sure the tributes he'd call upon would be ready to kick some evil ass. He then decided to give himself a makeover to prepare for the adventure, he wore a regular t-shirt, put on a pair of brown boots, put a black leather coat over his shirt, wore dark blue jeans and styled his hair with both a ponytail and even decided to do a more casual change by dyeing streaks of his hair red.
Alien Barossa and Jamie were seen walking down in Little Homeworld, they had been helping Amethyst with an on-stage PSA about self-esteem and confidence which she was using in assertiveness classes for a group of Pearls that had serious self-esteem issues with their partners; they both were carrying props for the play.
Jamie: It's been like one year since you came here and you've adapted quite well.
Barossa: You're right, James, but I wonder whatever happened to my bosses, like they called me to come here and now they just kinda dropped me like a hot Orochi egg.
Jamie: Well, we kind of told you they didn't care one bit about you so...
Barossa: I guess you're right, I guess you're right. I've found it pretty cool to work alongside you and that you gave me a home to live in.
Jamie: Not quite cool that you made me sleep on the couch the first week, though.
Barossa: Eh, that was a long time ago, time to let it go my friend.
Jamie: It's still weird, I felt like a random drunken guest in my own house.
Barossa: Well, I'm sorry I didn't know you guys hadn't had a second bed.
They then arrived at where they were headed to, Amethyst's school. They were greeted by none other than the purple gem herself who was at the doorstep of her classes' building.
Amethyst: Hey, it's James and the rabbit guy. Were all the props intact? I know your last play was messy because Onion got up on stage mid-way through.
Jamie: Heh, that kid scares me honestly. But yeah, it was fine, they might be a bit bruised up but it won't be that noticeable to be honest.
Just then, Amethyst checked her phone to see Peridot calling her.
Peridot: Amethyst, how are you doing today?
Amethyst: I'm doing pretty well today, thanks a lot for the call Peri but what is it about?
Peridot: Uh well, do you remember a guy named Bale?
Amethyst: Hmmm... It rings a bell.
Jamie: Wasn't he the guy who was at the ocassion where we swapped bodies with other people? The one with a talking green iguana?
Amethyst: Aw right, that "nominator" guy, what's his business now does he need us for another party or thing gone awry?
Peridot: Precisely that. Apparently another evil that will attack the Multiverse soon will appear.
Amethyst: Oh crud, are you kidding me, right in the middle of organizing the next PSA as a stageplay?
Jamie: It's been years since the last major catastrophe, Amethyst, I'm sure if trouble arises we'll handle it fine.
Barossa: What trouble?
Jamie: It's a long story, I think Bale would explain it better than I could.
Barossa: Okay I believe you.
Peridot: He looked pretty distraught so it likely is some serious dangerous business that's happening.
Amethyst: Well then, sorry Jamie we gotta cancel this thing and schedule it for next week.
Jamie: Honestly, I can't be mad, after the body-swapping madness I can safely understand why we'd go through with canceling.
Amethyst: Alright, I'll just break the news to the folks.
She left briefly and returned after giving the news.
Amethyst: Luckily we can reschedule this Tuesday assignment for the next Wednesday, hopefully this'll be over in a week or so.
Jamie: Well, just call the others, I think I'll sit out of this.
Barossa: Oh it's an adventure against evil we're going to? If so count me in, you still got my robot that the green girl modified and I can help you all with it.
Amethyst: Eh sure, hop on aboard pal!
Barossa: Thank you a lot, I won't disappoint. Maybe lose but not disappoint.

Mind: Only a few things, we got to get our dark crystals back and I believe we cannot let them be lost any longer. We located the defecting traitor that fled our ranks in the World of the Gem Race, it'll be your and Groundine's duty to find this traitor, I have come to believe he's responsible for the disappearance of some of our generals such as Space Ikadevil and Skydaine.
Groundine: My sister... That lowlife scum will pay.
Mind: Don't get too rash, you'll be tasked with assassinating the person in the most discreet manner, after you get the information we need from them.
Shadow Moon: Luckily for us, I've obtained concealment stones to hide among the humans, they won't suspect a thing.
Brajira: And I guess that even if they do, our troops will be good distraction for us to escape.
Mind: As long as you don't make it obvious to them that they're your forces.
Brajira: I would never commit such as brutish dumb mistake.
Mind: You better not. Now get going, Bale will soon call upon his oldest allies and if the Gems leave Beach City, we can strike with utmost optimacy.
Shadow Moon: Then we'll be ready for them!
Mind: Good, let's begin our operation shall we?
The mooks and generals all cheered as they prepared to take their leave.

The Arena
Data Andy finds Lucca going about her night, but Marc's warning still rings in his head. He may have "cleansed" part of the Arena of S. aureus, but what if she's infected, too? He zaps her with his magic wand, to Berial's horror, but Andy briefly comes to his senses and lets Lucca go.
He then attacks Scrooge the next day and burns the duck's literal Plot Armor with his fire spell, then bribes Maid Edelgard and Longbowman to keep his murder a secret. Andy meets with the same Edelgard that night and sells her lamp oil, rope, and bombs, hoping that she continues agreeing with the bribe.
I need more money to stop this epidemic... he thinks.
And he makes his move in the Feast. Together with the villains from the Kirby Universe, he spends his money on ice cream ingredients and more bomb materials. And thanks to President Haltmann's business skills, they drive an ice cream truck and sell the ice cream bomb to Ashley, who explodes upon eating it. Andy, satisfied with finishing her off, then has quesadillas for lunch and escapes the eldritch worm, then has a sleepover with Pointman, the Immaculate One, Shaun, and Armored Armadillo. As he dreams of purging the entire Arena of that deadly disease, Pointman tries leaving before he gets outed as an otaku, but Andy wakes up and drags him back in.
The teenage boy then continues his mission the next day, ambushing Uncle Roger while he's making cheese by stabbing him several times with his wand. Armored Armadillo then approaches him after the latter had dinner at a restaurant and says that they can rule together, in a world free of S. aureus.
Andy just smirks, his wand at the ready.
"Actually... I am done purging the sickness off this Arena. Every last tribute who was infected has died at my hands, and I assure you that the disease has been eradicated."
AA rolls into him to fight him, but he destroys his shields and points his wand at him.
"But I don't need your help anymore... because I CAN RULE ALONE!!!"
He laughs as he fires a powerful electric spell at the robot creature, frying his circuits. Andy stands over AA's body and kicks it away, and a Gamemaker in a hazmat approaches him to declare him the winner and Mass Murderer of the season.
"So I'll have to face that armadillo again in the Battle Royale?" Andy shakes his fist. "Then I'll show him who's business if he makes me that offer again!"
The Science Center, Testing Chamber
6k1 excuses herself from the others to reply to Bale: "I'm sorry, but the Medical Department decided against it because they believe that you and Lucina must learn to recover from this the 'hard' way. I understand how painful this is for you, but their decision is final. Good luck on tracking down the villains, though."
Meanwhile, Power finishes watching the season and stands speechless at Andy's murder spree. 6k1 got another Podium Finisher and Mass Murderer... but at what cost?

Mr. Star witnesses that his tributes, both data cloned, in the Arena have been eliminated, and as the next season unfolds, he nominates new tributes, before going to sleep.

It's the middle of the night. Underneath the moon, Scrat emerges from a bush in the middle of a plain, acorn in hand. Suddenly, what looks like a meteor falls from the sky and into the plains near Scrat. Nervous, Scrat goes nearby to check the "meteor". Arriving at the relatively small impact crater, Scrat witnesses something rising from the impact crater, and runs away.

Lucina was moved by Aqua's words and saw her points, though deep down she still didn't feel like forgiving Bale or even treating him as a friend; but Aqua was ultimately right in that she had to focus on going after the actual culprits and especially when they could go after her family and people next.
Lucina: That... Was a lot of help, Aqua. It's just that I've seen betrayal beforehand take my loved ones away, or at least what I believed to be betrayal such as when my father's closest confidant betrayed and killed him in my own timeline but then I learned there was more behind it than I thought and that said friend, my mother, was innocent of what happened. But Pythor isn't and Bale brought him here.
She proceeded to reafirm her thoughts on the situation.
Lucina: But while I might not ever want to see Bale as a friend or even a true ally, I'll focus on what's important: stopping the ones behind this all before more people are hurt and avenge Meta while at it. And for the last part, I think we'll be good friends from now on.
Lucina smiled at the other woman, her words truly settling in with her and giving her hope to soldier on once more to stop the true dangers lurking around. Dedede and Kirby both cheered up at hearing her regain her courage and drive to protect the innocent while she looked at Galaxia and Falchion and gained even more resolve to master Meta Knight's sword to help her out.
Lucina: While I might be going with Alphys... We'll need someone to break the news to the people of Dreamland and my home.
Dedede then got a bit distraught as he remembered that Meta Knight had planned to propose to Lucina and would've done so the next day, he didn't know how to break that down to her, he didn't want to mortify her even more by making her know that Meta planned to settle down with her at last only for fate to cruelly tear that dream apart. However he figured that it was better said than left uncertain, though he decided to wait until they were at the base for it.
Dedede: And how are accompanying Alphys?
Kirby: I think she's starting to get ready to leave since Lemmy arrived to free Eye-Sicle.
Just then they watched as the bear was successfully freed.
Bale: I'll catch up with you later, I must get my base ready.
Lucina decided to bury her contempt for now and decided to part ways amicably for now.
Lucina: Very well, we'll see each other again later just don't be too late.
Kirby: New adventure here we go!
Dedede: Well we got bad guys to clobber and smash.
However they hadn't noticed Alphys was gone already.
Lucina: Oops looks like we got a bit caught up in all this talk.
Dedede: I think she left through a portal but I dunno if it's still open.
