Welcome to HGS: Another Side Another Story. It is a roleplay spinoff for the Hunger Games Simulator forum game, akin to both the RP's in the Roleplaying section as well as the ITTs in Forum Games. It tells the story of the Hunger Games in the Arena of Panem, the nominators who sent the tributes, the tributes themselves both in and out of the Arena or even other people relevant to the Games. In addition, it also tells their stories beyond the Arena.
You can jump right in with any character, like your nominator self, your tributes, etc. The structure of this RP will be open-world. Don't worry about not being skilled/experienced enough or being new to RP'ing. Finally, ASAS accepts any skill level or RP style. Other than these, there are some important rules to note, which are:
- No godmodding will be allowed or tolerated here. The offending player will be given punishment depending on the severity.
- Please communicate anything important you plan on another player with the said player first. Don't just execute it without their consent.
- Don't be rude to other players, both out and in-universe. This extends to RP offenses like railroading, guilt-tripping, coercing, or other forms of forcing them.
- This RP is related to the Hunger Games Simulation:Beyond the Possibilities forum game. Thus it will have events based from that game, including the tributes. This means if you want to RP as tributes, please nominate them officially on the thread first, with misses not being counted. This has to be done after an incident with a player who hasn't joined the game itself yet.
- Since this RP is Loose Canon in relation to the main HGS thread, the host's interpretation of events isn't necessarily 100% canon. Every player has the right to deviate from what the host says and go with their own interpretations. If multiple players have their tributes involved in the same event(s), please communicate with each other so that you're on the same page regarding how you see them.
- This RP chronicles the lives of the nominators and their tributes behind the scenes. While dark plots are acceptable, the overall tone of the RP should be light-hearted and comedic. This RP is not a Cosmic Horror Story or action story about defeating evil. It is a Slice of Life comedy with some adventure to it, first and foremost. Our previous RP, Convergence, is not representative of the intended tone, and the grimdark tone of that RP is one of the main reasons it was retooled.
- Nominators and tributes alike can transform into Pokemon whenever they enter a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon World (but they can bypass this with certain items/methods or shapeshifting) or via other means outside it such as a season event, Transformation Trinkets, or shapeshifting. The players are free to choose the Pokéforms that best suit their characters and even give them color schemes outside the standard and Shiny colors, but there is a hard rule for this. If you want your character's Pokéform to be a Legendary, Mythical, or Ultra Beast, please ask the RP mods for approval. Outside the Arena, these Pokéforms are still OP, but we want to give leeway for tributes who theoretically can have them such as deities.

Detective Gamechanger's Base
A sharp-dressed man in a green suit and yellow tie is standing by the entrance of the base. He is of average height and has whitish skin, though still a bit darker. He is Billy, one of the nominators and the organizer of the party.
Indeed, after the nominators' returned and settled their problems, they decide to have fun with a party. Billy also sent invites for all the other nominators out there, as well as basically anyone else, including tributes, non associated parties, interested nominators who haven't participate yet, or even those who just wants to hang out.
The place itself in the base is refurbished for party purposes. Fancy chairs and tables are set everywhere for people to relax, as well as put food and other objects for the latter. There's also various collections showcased, including those belonging to the Detective, like his classic cars. Various themes to the base are set too, including detective noir as GC would have preferred.
Billy is now awaiting for other guests to arrive. He is also ready to give them a pleasant surprise during the party pertaining to his nation.

Mett's eyes widen as he can tell the atmosphere suddenly got a lot more dangerous, and took a few seconds to think after Ten's request. "Alright...alright. I'm gonna open a portal to my residence. Leave if you feel unsafe, but please do it quickly. I'd rather not have any of our unwelcome guests into my home." And with that he does as he said he would, opening a portal to just outside his home. "Alright, anybody else besides Ten leaving?"

(Cleo's horns glow and a few loose objects float into the air behind the group. Cleo seems ready to toss them at the intruders if things turn ugly.)
(Wanda fumbles around with her claws by the edge of the barrier, seeming to be trying to figure out how to do something.) Gosh, what did Mom say to do again...?
(Stanford notices the portal Mett opened.) Are any of you going to go? (Stanford asks those of his group who are here.)
Ain't quittin' you or any of these other fellers, Stan. (Kenny says, staying put. Joaquin and June don't move toward the portal either, suggesting that they plan to stay as well.)
Eye-Sicle's Lair
(Eye-Sicle can't help but notice how relieved the skinnier alligator seemed to be to be outside of his world. Then again, he WAS in a zoo. Having used to be in a zoo himself before getting his powers, Eye-Sicle can't really fault Wally for that. It's because of this that Eye-Sicle can't help but feel a little sorry for Wally since it seems Wally is starting off with a string of bad luck; getting a medkit he picked up destroyed by Percy and being forced to adhere to rules that Shobai decided to force upon Wally and several others.)
(In the meantime, Louis appears to be writing a book as he goes on and isn't affected by a nasty hamburger given to him by a visual novel series(??) and a gallon of milk(???) (right, right, no logic in this place). Eye-Sicle figures that Louis has a strong enough stomach to not have been affected by it.)

6k1 mutters a Big "WHAT?!" when the door is suddenly opened but nods Dave and Fira thanks for strengthening the barrier.
"I guess there's no way to fortify the doors to counter that..." says Timothy, pointing at the two intruders with a shaking finger.
6k1 turns to see Mett summoning the emergency exit and Kafka leaving through it.
"Alright, stay safe!"
She then hears the horn sound, but she can't check on her tributes right now...
The Database Library, Basement
Ally has also been monitoring the attempted break-in since earlier this afternoon, her eyes turning red at the commotion.
It is obvious that Akumo should have thought this through if he wanted to talk to Noire about important matters. And it is apparent that the Library's security will never be set to its maximum if that key has the ability to unlock all kinds of locks.
She also wonders how Asriel would react if/when he meets her, but gets interrupted by the start of the season. Ally observes Percy destroy Wally's medikit with a Reductor Curse and then star in Killer7 On Ice while Charlie looks for healers after galloping away from the Cornucpia.
It is apparent that he lacks knowledge in restorative magic.
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"

"Oh trust me, I know that. I already tried to talk to him about his overprotective issues but... I guess it is quite difficult to tame someone who has been created to be a killing machine. I should be able to calm him down this time, though." Giegue said, apologizing to Dave and Fira.
The alien raised an eyebrow at Lunwick's attempt to fool them.
Wow... I am not a good liar, but he is terrible at acting. Niiue giggled.
I did not know you could criticize others. Giegue replied.
But then, the door somehow opened itself, allowing the 2 intruders to enter. Giegue chose to stay.
"I'll try to not tap into too much of my PSI, but should things go south, you can count on me... And I have to prevent Mewtwo from decapitating them on spot without knowing what they want."

The Windblight and the Thunderblight, in their true forms, were watching the events at the Voidlands using one of the former's drones.
"So this are the two recruit the fool have been mumbling on about... I expected a better choice for the former, but this will do. Shinnok may prove to be another useful addition to the god of dark's forces." the Windblight said about Shinnok in the Blight's language.
"A deity who have been bested by mortals. Twice. Still... It cannot be worst than the alliance with this living failure." the Thunderblight grunted as its siblings used another drone to show it the library events.
"Amusing... The one calling himself as Akumo created yet another shadow..."
"Just as flawed as the first one. And he thought going straight to the library was actually a good idea... Truly, the fool never learns... Such idiocy is infuriating. And he claims to be Tabby's archnemesis? His heart is blinding him. Let us not even talk about the other bags of meat." the Thunderblight angrily grunted, slashing at the drone, destroying it in its anger.
"The living creatures never cease to bring something new to us, Blights... But I admit Akumo is starting to disappoint me as well..." the Windblight muttered, shaking its head.
A portal of Malice appeared, showing the two remaining Blights, also in their true forms.
"I see you are already watching the Voidlands... Is this the one calling herself Calissa? How intriguing that she survived..." the Waterblight pondered.
"IT IS INDEED A SURPRISE. IT IS NO COINCIDENCE. I SUPPOSE THE IDIOT HAVE SOME USES FOR THE GUIDE OF THE VOIDLANDS." the Fireblight asked.
"It is very likely. I have two hypotheses about this... Scattered Brain proposed himself as a guide for his "friends", but we all know how mediocre he would be at this. She is an excellent choice to assist him in that matter. And of course... there is the possibility of strengthening the god of dark's league even more."
"AT LAST, A SMART DECISION. A SHAME HE IS NOT FAVORISING THE LEAGUE MORE OFTEN." the Fireblight complained.
[[evil:"So... What should we do about Calissa and this land?" the Waterblight asked.
"Nothing. It is Scattered Brain's wish to use this land for his small "season", not ours. Eventually, the cretin will remember his little "season" and shall act only once he will feel the nominators' arrival. With him, this should be more than enough to put the guide back to her place and prepare everything according to his wishes... and to what each of us, Blights, have in store for his precious pets."

"Right. Be careful, folks!" Dave says to the ones leaving.
"And there's a reason why the weapon is called a "Keyblade". Unlocking things is what sets it apart from other weapons.
"Now, I'll issue this ultimatum to you two: you two may speak from beyond this barrier, or forever hold your silence. What do you wish to convey to the girls?" he asks, now addressing Akumo and Lunwick.
Dave's Home Base
Hans, as he continues his work, briefly caught wind of the season. To his shock, Charlie Weasley ends up killing his younger brother.
"Oh boy.... if 6k1 can see this, I can only wonder what her reaction would be...." he mutters to himself.
Hope: "Let's go. We'll be together." Lightning: "I only know... that soon, we'll be together."
Kirby
The Database Library
Kirby and Ribbon hears the door open, and sees 6k1, and later Dave, making a barrier. Kirby and Ribbon stand guard, and Bebe cowers while Magolor makes a barrier of his own around her.
"Whoever you are, you better not hurt us!"

Billy's Mansion (S127)
As the season itself is reaching its second half, Power retaliates with her own burst back in the battle. Billy keeps running and having his units shield for him. While doing so, a bolt almost hit him in the side, but it narrowly misses by few millimeters. However, the same cannot be said for a shielding unit. It is unable to get the shield in time and thus gets hit, obliterating it. This gives Power a point, as well as making Billy cough a bit as he feels the pain from its destruction, forcing him to dodge another narrow hit again.

Power cheers in her head when she finally scores a point and dazes Billy for a while. She then has Hearts spray sticky paint at him and some of the units.

1st Floor
While 6k1 keeps the barrier up, Asriel just looks at the intruders in fear and confusion. While he could power himself up and help the others fend them off, he has to listen to his sister.
Basement
Ally continues watching the Weasley brothers as night falls in the Arena. Charlie comes across a computer with all the Danganronpa games installed and plays them, curious about the Muggle gaming device. As he investigates the murder cases, Percy munches loudly on his popcorn nearby. Charlie snaps and gets up from his seat, then throws the PC at his brother's head with his wand.
Ally's eyes turn a deep shade of blue.
Percy Ignatius Weasley might be pompous at times, but he was just as curious about that video game as you! It was unnecessary for you to be enraged over this!
She then watches as Charlie figures out how to use Discord the next day and spends some Galleons to boost Dr. Alex's server, and he's rewarded with chocolate milk afterwards.
It seems that he is taking after his father Arthur Weasley in tinkering with Muggle technology, but he seems apathetic about the murder of his brother...
Ally also gets worried about how the Weasley Family would react to this back home, especially George...

Billy responds by having 12 of the units spray water to dissipate the paint or force the drops to fall into the ground before they hit him. Meanwhile, 13 others start to move and form a thin membrane of light between them to help block the paint, which should stick to it. Billy then has the rest of the 24 units each launch single stream of fire in a way that makes them look like a firewall.

Akumo and Lunwick are shocked to see a mysterious person letting them in. They decide to use this to their advantage and run inside.
Akumo grumbles to himself when he sees they’ve formed a barrier around them.
"Shit, we’re screwed."
"Relax, I think it’s going to be okay."
"Yeah, we got to thank the guy and his stupid weeb shit."
"You're here to talk, right? How about you go talk to them?"
"I'll try to be civil at least."
They walk up to where the barrier is. Akumo clears his throat and glares at Tabby.
"What the fuck do you want, you fucking bastard?"
"Who's the new guy?"
"Well, I caught wind that you were here and just wanted to discuss something with all of you. It’s about Rubyfrost."
"Also, the new guy is a shadow close made in the same way as Noire. His name is Lunwick. We’re trying to keep this platonic for now."
"Hi!"
"Huh, Rubyfrost? Did she bring you here? I assume so. What is it about her?"
"I kinda want to branch myself off from her but I really can’t."
"How so? Is she treating you badly?"
"I can’t betray her because my soul is bound to her ever since that deal I’ve made. I’m really having second thoughts about this whole tirade and I want to head back to the simpler days but I can’t. I really can’t! I’m really sorry for what I’ve done!"
He starts to break into tears. Lunwick comforts him.
Tabby looks at this speechless. Finally, she bursts out.
"Well, maybe if you weren’t so vengeful and jealous of me! None of this would of happened! I have a lot of regrets and some of them are about you!"
"Sometimes, I just want to cut ties from you but I can’t really do that to someone as pitiful as you. I do want to help others less fortunate than I am but you are beyond help! Fake happiness like Noire and Lunwick will not help! You need to find true happiness one day!"
"I-I don’t know how to respond."
"Well, if it helps...Do you want to head to the Voidlands with us? I heard that could of help you."
"Yes, please! Let me go with you!"
"Well, we do have enough weirdos on this trip like Scattered Brain but I guess we can have one more. I don’t really support the idea."
"I never knew all of this! I’ll be glad to help Akumo more now thanks to my new knowledge. You guys are nicer than I thought."
"Shut up Lunwick!"

6k1, still keeping the barrier up, listens to Akumo's discussion, but alas, her sympathy for him has run dry ever since the last time he broke in.
"Noire, you should've asked for my approval first! I know I'm being hypocritical regarding OT Scipion, but if I'm ever bringing minors along for the ride, then he must stay away from them!"
But then she just remembered... the countless number of children who had... bad encounters with the adults in the OT. Sure, their memories of those were wiped when they moved to this timeline, but those who still remember the adults' actions will never forget what they did to them.
It's for the best that BTS no longer has a shred of their OT selves in them...
Asriel, on the other hand, gives Akumo the benefit of the doubt. In a way, he's just like him, regretting all the bad things he had done in the past, but he still has a bad feeling that Akumo's trying to manipulate them like Flowey.
"I understand if you prolly say no to this, but... maybe you should give him a chance, sis?"
She sighs. "I'm sorry little bro, but there are some things that are simply unforgivable."

Akumo presents his case. Dave and Fira both raise their eyebrows. They then share a look, and come to a conclusion.
The duo's stance loosens, but they keep their alert, just in case.
"As a woman, I do not know if I could forgive a man like you. But...."
"We do not wish to be foolish. And.... OT!Scipion is exactly the point. I hold the opinion that he is the worse poster boy compared to you. And.... I hold other things as far worse than what you did. And I've been through one of them."
"Really? What is it?" Fira asks innociously.
Dave, however, remains silent at first, gritting his teeth as if supressing something.
"Parental abuse," he says finally, a vengeful venom clear in the tone of his voice. "That's the big unforgivable sin in my book. I try to be the forgiving kind, but I absolutely despise abusive parents, such as Spoiled Rich, above all else."
"Oh...."
"My father and step mother.... they were the worst. Do you recall the day we left our wretched world, and began traveling around the Omniverse?"
"Yeah.... You seemed so happy to be able to leave, far beyond my own, or Hans'."
"Yeah.... that world was an accursed hive of scum and bastardry. None of the scummy people in it hold up to it more so than they did. They used to order me around like a slave, and they'd beat me around if they felt like it. If I recall it so, my birth mother died in childbirth, with me as the only child. My father blamed me for it, because of course he would. And my step mother just didn't care at best."
"So that's why you were never happy whenever you had to go home? Why didn't you ever told me?"
"It wasn't your burden. It was mine alone. You had nothing to do with them, and there's no reason to bring them up, other than bad memories. This is why I don't like talking about them much," he says, trying his best to hold his tears back.
"Oh, dear...." she sadly says, wiping off a stray tear on his face. He nods in grateful appreciation.
"We'll talk about it later. Back on-topic, I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, Akumo. But do not make me regret this, or I will make sure that you will regret ever coming here begging. You're lucky that I don't hold you as lowly as I do others."
"I will concur, as long as you behave, yes."

Seeing his offensive getting countered, Billy briefly thinks of using earth based attack, before considering the anti gravity power that Hearts Strong as Horses possess. He then thinks of another technique, as concentrated light appears around the units who were spitting fire earlier. Billy then shapes them into many needles, which are then launched at Power and her Stand.

(Stanford and the others are not inclined to immediately trust Akumo either. Cleo, in particular, looks positively furious after 6k1 implies that Akumo had harmed children in the past (her eyes are now glowing purple along with her horns) and is currently doing everything in her power to not immediately launch everything she has lifted up in the air at him.)
Cleo, I would advise putting the things you have lifted up down. (Stanford tells the dragon.) We don't want to risk escalating this into a fight.
(Cleo (a bit reluctantly) gently places everything she lifted up down.)
Do we REALLY want his company? (Joaquin asks the others.) 'Cause, you know, it seems like we've got more reason NOT to trust him than to actually trust him.
Yeah, he sounds really mean... (June adds.)
I'm not sure. (Stanford says.) I'm not sure if I really have the authority to really say one way or another since we're all so new here. If he MUST come with us, I would watch him carefully in case he does try to pull something.

(In the meantime, they offer their condolences to Dave for the mess he had to go through in his old world.)

Eye-Sicle
(Seems that Wally's bad luck transferred to Louis instead, as the larger gator fumbles a gun, blows up his hand, and (understandably) freaks out for hours afterward, and is then somehow done in along with two other tributes by...what was it, the aura radiating off this Dylan fellow? Eye-Sicle isn't sure what happened there, but in any case he grumbles in frustration and turns his attention to Wally's results.)
(Wally is currently reacting in confusion to a strange photo edit that gives him Sigma's legs.) What the...? (Eye-Sicle mouths. The end result leaves him just as weirded out.)
(Later, Wally accepts a clear soda and a VHS tape from one of the other games. The poor guy seemed unaware of the fact that the game wasn't allowed to do this and flees when the game is caught in the act.) Oh, he's in trouble now...
(And indeed he is, but not for the reasons Eye-Sicle was expecting; Dr. Alex suddenly backstabs Wally and two others and mows them down as they are trying to leave a body of water. After ranting about this turn of events for about a minute, Eye-Sicle calms back down, begins the process of reviving the gators, and thinks about who to nominate next.)
(It then occurs to Eye-Sicle that he hasn't checked in with Chip and Grime yet. It's been a while since they went out in search of the Greens and the Plantars; maybe they've found something. Eye-Sicle gets out his communicator.)
Whistler? Grime? You found anything yet? (Eye-Sicle asks. There is no response.)
...Hello? You two chuckleheads there? (Eye-Sicle says again. Still no answer. He can hears noises on the other end, but they won't answer.)
(Then he hears muttering followed by the extremely loud noise of what sounds like their communicator getting crushed to pieces. Now all Eye-Sicle can hear is static.)
What the blazes is going on? (Eye-Sicle grumbles, staring down at his communicator. Based on the noises he could hear, it didn't sound like they were in some sort of confrontation. He figures that he'll have to ask them what's going on once they get back.)

6k1 looks at Dave incredulously and couldn't help but side with Fira for initially doubting Akumo.
"Brother, I know you'll punish him if he does anything funny, but—" she makes a brief glance at Tabby, "—isn't he the same man who... you know..."
Asriel shakes his head. He now understands why 6k1 won't forgive Akumo, and he really wants to go to the basement.
"But on the other hand..." she continues to Dave, "I agree with your stance on Abusive Parents, and I'm glad that you and Tabby were able to escape from them. It's no wonder you look up to me as your honorary sister, and I'm glad to have you as my honorary brother, too."
She smiles. "Perhaps I should remind you of our first OT meeting after this has been settled."
Asriel smiles at her compliment to Dave and turns to him.
"Sorry that your mom and dad were so mean to you..."
He's happy that 6k1's part of his family, but he wonders where her birth parents are and if they were as loving as his mom and dad. Perhaps he should ask her when they go to the basement.
Basement
Ally continues watching Charlie, nodding when he flies over the caltrops scattered by Among Us with his broom but clutches her head as her eyes turn deep blue again when he interrupts Maypul's poisoning of All For One and kills him himself.
Here is hoping that Ichigo Montoya does not send 6001 angry messages for his tribute dying unceremoniously to her tribute!
Her electronic headache doesn't stop, however, when Charlie hooks up with Kung Fu Man to cure him of Hanahaki Disease.
He may be too preoccupied with taming dragons, but this couple does not compute!
She then tries wrapping her databanks around the kind of spell he used to summon jelly at the swarm of mosquitos to protect Sara. Looks like Ally needs a few bugfixes after this...

6k1's compliment and Asriel's and Wanda's words do bring a small smile on his face, though.
"I would appreciate a reminder of good memories, sis. And thanks for looking out for me, Azzy, Wanda."
The Hidden Dimension
The four Voidlands delegates return. Lady Babylon greets them.
"You are late. What took you so long? And where is your company?" she asks them.
They reveal Calissa's survival, and convey her message.
"I see.... No wonder the presence felt so.... familiar. It was her. If she wishes to remain for now, let her be."
Father then arrives, joined by a new recruit.
"Who's the new one?" Xehanort asks curiously.
"Alec Trevelyan, but please call me Janus, if you will. The Lady had approached me, and assigned me and my Janus Crime Syndicate to her science division. I'm willing to help, as long as I get what I want."
"I see. Very well, then.... Janus."
"What exactly do you need from him, my Lady?" Vaati asks.
"The Janus Crime Syndicate's main expertise lies in the art of computers. He's the brains behind the theft of the original GoldenEye satellite, much like the one we used in the Tribute Prison. His work right now is simple: there is a name I've been very interested in bringing into our cause, but the process of resurrecting has not been easy."
"My men have been working hard with everything we have to do it. You have my reassurance that we will succeed."
"Good. I'll leave it to you, then."
Trevelyan then departs.
"What of 'Scattered Brain'?" Xehanort asks.
"If he wants to play in the Voidlands, then that will be under Calissa's territory, as the guide of the realm. Let her deal with it as she wishes."

Lunwick grabs his arm and pulls him towards the exit.

Lunwick pulls off Akumo’s mask and shuts him up with a kiss on the lips. Akumo quickly pulls away and looks at everyone embarrassed and blushing, covering his mouth.
"Dammit, why did you do that? In front of everyone!"
"Heh, I was trying to make you shut up and leave."
Tabby and Noire chuckle at this to themselves, poking fun at Akumo’s embarrassment.
"I guess that’s karma for the whole thing at the library days ago, isn’t it?"
"Yeah, I got to admit that."
"THAT'S NOT FUNNY!"
"Fine, we will leave now but I will not be this civil the next time we met, Tabby! You fucking hear that?"
"Pfft yeah, I have ears. Dumbass."
Akumo grabs Lunwick by the arms and drags him out of the library in a fit of rage.
Tabby and Noire look at everyone awkwardly and then go back to business.
"Anyway, now that he’s gone. Do you guys plan on what you’re doing next with the trip? We obviously need a lot of supplies."
"Yeah, lots of fresh food."
"Hopefully we can find a way to transport stuff I haven’t thought of yet."

Throughout everything Mett was standing guard in front of his portal, one hand in his pocket clutching a knife. While he was glaring at the intruders and seemed to be waiting in case anyone else had to escape, in reality he was enraptured by what was going on. His curiosity kept him standing there and watching, almost like a TV show the way he felt detached from what was going on. But as soon as he started realizing what Akumo's crimes were, his gaze hardened and now he pulled out his knife openly.
Drama! Romance! Bloodshed! Knock 'em dead, darling~Kafka nudges Mett, looking shaken.
"Mate. Please. I wanna get out of here, like, now."

Out of curiosity, Scipion asked the Dark Star to show him where Giegue was. He saw him with the rest of the party and Akumo.
"Uh. Well they seem to have the guy under control so..."
As he was about to leave, the Zoroark froze in place when the Voidlands's expedition subject was brought up. He stared at the screen, eyes wide opened.
"Voidlands? VOIDLANDS??? THEY'RE GOING IN AGAIN?? AND THEY DIDN'T INVITE ME???" he roared.
"To be honest, this seems rather serious. And I highly doubt an idiot like you would be useful to this group."
"MY ASS!! IF IT WASN'T FOR THAT STUPID COLLAPSE, I WOULD HAVE WRECK THE SHIT OUT OF THIS FUCKING DIMENSION!!"

The alien raised an eyebrow at Akumo suddenly crying before asking to join the Voidland's group.
This came out of nowhere... Is he faking this up?
I believe it's up to the nominators to decide if they should trust him or not. Niiue answered.
The alien respectfully nodded as Dave explained more of his backstory. To be fair, he could slightly understand. His actual parents that he barely knew of viewed him as a mere experiment, and George...
At least, there was Maria.
Eventually, the nominators gave him the benefit of the doubt. Akumo eventually left, after being "kissed" by Lunwick, causing Giegue to smile for a moment.
I protest! I am not a telephonic device, you miserable wretch!! the Dark Star voice roared inside Giegue's head, much to his surprise.
Shut up, okay? Ahem... Giegue? Can you hear me? Scipion asked telepathically.
Yes. What do you want?
You're with Sixty, right? Tell her I'm going with her and the rest of the group into the Voidlands.
Everyone would see Giegue's eyes widening before sighing.
I don't know about this... Akumo will be with them and your past-self will I quote "prepare" the Voidlands for us. Are you sure this is a good idea?

Heh. Alright. You'll be coming with me. And Morgan... Actually, I think you should assist the guys who would be monitoring us. I suppose there would be some.

Scipion? You know that the other nominators may refuse. Giegue warned.
They accepted freaking Akumo into the team. So I'm in, no matter if they like it or not! Scipion snarled.
Scipion cut communication. Giegue rolled his eyes and informed the rest of the group about Scipion's intentions.
Of course, the Zoroark didn't know that Aaron would also participate in the expedition.

(Cleo audibly growls as Akumo leaves with his entourage.) If he comes back it'll be too soon. (She says, sounding very pissed-off.)

(Stanford doesn't feel all that sorry to see Akumo leave either. Having Akumo with them likely would have caused a lot of tension in the group, especially given his extremely sordid history. Stanford shudders a bit thinking about what 6k1 mentioned and follows the subject Tabby brought up.) I could see what we could find at Eye-Sicle's lair. Perhaps I could even create something to make carrying supplies easier.
"Lucian, don’t be afraid, we’ll make it through this."
Outside the Database Library
The Master is getting a bit impatient. He had wanted to have some chit chat with some people, particularly a certain goat, but the "Mexican" standoff between Akumo and his crony vs the nominators is getting unbearable.
"Dear Kingdom Hearts, I just wanted to talk, not watch through a standoff! And I don't think they're going anywhere until that door is opened...."
He gasps suddenly, then chuckles at his stupidity. "Oh, of course.... How in the World could I possibly forget? I am a buffoon, indeed. I do have a weapon that no lock can withstand, after all."
The ancient Master then summons his Keyblade. "Well, I think things are gonna get pretty hectic here. So, I think I'll just take my leave. I can always have some chat later. After all.... I do have a lot of time."
He points the Keyblade at the entrance door. A beam of light hails forth from the ancient weapon, and hits the door. A sound of a door being unlocked is heard, and the door begins to open by itself.
The Master de-summons his Keyblade, chuckles briefly, then calmly says his usual catchphrase, "May your heart be your guiding key," before walking away before anyone can see him, vanishing somewhere down the road with no trace of him.
Inside the Database Library
"Alright, then, whatever you say—"
Dave then suddenly stops, and cringes. He's seeing a vision. A hooded figure in a black coat unlocks the door using a certain weapon, allowing Akumo and his minion to enter.
Thinking fast, he adds his magical strength into 6k1's barrier, reinforcing it.
"Sis.... I'm happy that you put the kids behind us. Because I'm afraid.... that door is not going to be of much use against something with the innate, unblockable ability to open any and all locks."
Soon enough, the unlocking sound is heard, and the door begins to open.
"Fuck.... Can you help me, dear? We'll need the extra help in holding this barrier. And everyone else, this is an emergency; if anybody wants to go home now, this is your best bet," Dave says. Fira agrees to help, lending her own mana into the barrier.
But who could be responsible? she ponders briefly as she concentrates in keeping the barrier stable. A look outside reveals no one else other than the two cronies.
The Voidlands
The League members soon arrive in a small hill. At the top, they see a figure.
"Is that the one we're looking for here?"
"I think so. It certainly looks like we have our jackpot."
"Let's walk up to them, then."
Soon enough, the four arrives at the top. There, a female sits.
"Took you long enough to show up here."
Xehanort and Shang Tsung's eyes widen in surprise. Terminus had spoken of her before, they now realized. Her appearance's now quite different
◊, but her voice remains the same.
"You're.... alive...."
"Surprised?" she asks, turning around to face them, eyeing the two leaders.
"Quite surprised, indeed. Valecor and Xiamos were killed due to the Great Collapse. By all accounts, you should have been dead with them."
"Yes, it nearly had me. But.... I have been deeply attuned to this world, far more than they realized. I used my connection to survive, albeit very much barely. I woke up to find things very unstable, my fellows no more, and my appearance changed. All due to the hands of fate. I was.... reborn that day."
"Such is their destiny fulfilled," Shinnok says.
"So you isolated yourself here, to revigorate yourself?"
"Yes. I've been regaining my strength. And watching. From here, I watched as events occur on the outside world. I saw the Legion of Doom's final stand. I saw the fall of Archangel Hasselhoff, and the mission the nominators took to save the young girl."
"I see."
"Now, what brings you here? I'm certain you didn't come here just for reunion's sake."
"The Lady had only now sensed your presence here. She sent us to get you."
"Hmm.... I suppose I could. But.... I have unfinished business here. And my powers haven't fully recovered. I intend to stay here for a little bit longer.... and watch."
[[evil:"I see. Well, then, the Lady wishes to convey her best of luck. We will return to inform her of your decision. Until we meet again.... Calissa, guide of the Voidlands."
The reborn Calissa nods. "The same to you, Keyblade Master Xehanort. Pleass convey to your Lady my best of luck as well, and that I will see her as soon as I'm able to."
"Very well."
Xehanort summons a Corridor of Darkness, and the League members then depart. Calissa, meanwhile, looks on into the chaotic landscape from her spot, her emotions neutral.
