oh no someone taught 100 gecs what sadness is
It feels like it stops way too soon, like a lot of hyperpop does (one of many, MANY things the Gecs do better than their contemporaries is knowing how to make a very short song feel like it's managed everything it needs to), but the part of me that's down for this kind of grating Soundcloud hyperpop likes it nonetheless. Happy hardcore for people who've never felt genuine happiness.

It's clever, really. Why wouldn't a character who gives off intense manipulative Yandere vibes try and lure in the otaku with sugary idol pop and a webcore-drenched music video? Having not played the game, I'm going to assume she's exactly as I described based on the image this song conjures up.

...It's.. Something.. I think? I guess avant garde pop is a thing now. Those two seem to contradict each other but then this.. It's not bad don't get me wrong but, idk maybe this confuses my simple head.

If you were to try and create the most stereotypically 90s rock-sounding track possible, it'd sound something like this (which is perhaps not surprising given the components). A cute little mashup, especially since it provides further proof for my theory that I'd like the Red Hot Chili Peppers a lot more if literally anyone but Anthony Kiedis was their singer.
