I thought of a meme.

Image of someone saying send in the clown, at first they get Leto Joker prompting a disgusted reaction, then they Phoenix Joker prompting a yes reaction.

Something like that, yes. (I'd forgotten that Spider-Man had one in that movie!)

While I don't recall whether the chest-symbol was used, I recall at least some versions of Batman (the Telltale version, perhaps?) using bat-drones, and there is precedent for the bat-family to use insignias as tools (see Robin storing shurikens in his). And that chest-piece does look somewhat technological, to my eye.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure Spider-Man copied the miniature surveillance drone idea from Batman.

Suicide Squad set video with Harley Quinn, Vigilante, Ratchatcher and the Polka-Dot Man.

Its a weird feeling to remember that Robbie is also doing this movie when Bo P was just released.

I'm actually glad that they aren't ignoring the first Suicide Squad totally — they are just taking what worked in that movie and, you know, doing it better.

See the Joker can have a decent sense of humor.

Nah if anything it would be perfect to introduce after justice league and already having nightwing and jason as it own chararter.

Clayface was on Gotham. He wasn't perfect. But if a TV show can do, I'm sure a big bugget movie can.

To have him as the only main villain of that film would have been sweet. Then they could do venom as his own thing.

yeah,I'm looking at clips of Clayface on Gothem and he doesn't really come across as the mud monster everyone is familiar with,he's more like a traditional shapeshifter

That's why I said it wasn't perfect. I'm sure a blockbuster could do better.

Shit Batman facing a giant mud monster is something he hasn’t done in film yet.

Miracolus: sure but them it would be hard to sell him as tragic person and that was good to, consider that in other adaptation sandman is just a thug.

(now I remenber animated series were electro was son of red skull and a FUBAR uber powerfull guy, learn how much of a pushover he is in comic was something).

And clayface.....yeah I think he could be tragic, it was in the batman and it was one of the best moment in the series.

Uh depends on the clayface. Post crisis Basil Karlo was uh something monstrous. He started an actual suicide cult of children.

Well, the animated series was tragic as the batman version, who was a good showing of how the joker can turn people evil.

CGI aside,part of the problem is that Batman villains in the movies tend to be a little more grounded,so straight up superpowers (Hi Ivy) would be out of place.

Clayface is very depending on the writer.

The current comic depiction is a total woobie who actually joins the Bat-family & finds a place where he belongs.

He even struck up the most adorable relationship with Cassandra Cain.

Though him being a tragic character is not exclusive to the show. Basil regularly flip-flops between sympathetic & unsympathetic.

How many villian we have that are tragic here in bat movie adaptations?.

Burton joker is...the joker.

burton pinguin is somewhat tragic and is death is kinda sad but he is such disgusting scum in that movie(more than usual) that is hard to feel anything but just some sort of pity, meanwhile catwoman is something of a anti hero.

Two face and riddle are just stright goof villian, one can said their final fate are bad(specially two face, really badman just just kill him) but that it.

Ra.....meh, he is evil.

Nolan joker...is the joker, again, Two face is the really tragedy here.

Bane....maybe? he have some humanizing moments with talia before he got blasted.

KG Beast in Bv S.....nah, he is just a henchman.

Suicida Squad joker is....the joker, again.

And finally the Joker joker is.....actually very relatable guy, that was surprising.

So maybe a tragic villian is in order?.

I'm sure Arnie is up to play Mr Freeze again.

I actually really liked The Batman version of Clayface, leaning more to a Tragic Villain.

Both animated versions of Clayface were pretty good, IMO.

TIL that [[Music/U2 The Edge]] provided the theme song for that show.
