This is a thread to discuss those Administrivia pages in need of a little updating- you know the ones. The ones that still cite rules we've long since changed, or the ones that don't properly cite our current standards. Some of them are even scattered in Main/!
So, this is the place to take those pages and fix them up with the help of the community.

Sorry, I wasn't thinking in my earlier post.
We experimented with cutting Main redirects to Administrivia pages, and found that there were some places on the website where the Main version was hardcoded, and therefore cutting them broke that part. For that reason we tend to decline redirects that we feel may fall into the same bucket. That'd be the case with Word Cruft and Square Peg, Round Trope.

Administrivia pages are locked by default to prevent rogue editors from changing policies. you can request edits in the locked page edit request thread in FAQ.

What about Main.Text Formatting Rules to Administrivia.Text Formatting Rules, since the former not existing breaks the Extended Markup Help link found at the bottom of the forum post screen?
Example A of what I was talking about up-thread. I restored the Main page, because it wouldn't be a priority to fix for the admins.

Apologies if I'm interrupting, but we may want to mention the problem with "apophenia" (seeing meaning/correlation in things when there are none) in the Trope page, as I think it'd be relevant. It'd probably fit in How To Make A Cool TLP, as well.
