Besides, they note the promo was shot last year before StarLIAR revealed her evil nature. Right now Black Noir is still on his secret mission.

It's kinda weird too see three of The Seven using guns. Plus it was hilarious the narrator tried to pretend the Heroes kill those Operators horrifically before giving up once the Operators start using Temp V and use superpowers.

PS:Nice shout out to Farah blowing someone heads off since her voice actress plays Victoria Neumann on The Boys.

I kind of wish MK had loss quotes because I'd love for Homelander to be the Dan Hibiki of MK.

He's the guy who loses to EVERYONE because he has no fighting ability whatsoever and they're used to fighting gods.

Can't wait for the Everyones Fatalities on Homelander video.

You know I was randomly thinking about it the other day, but I think the real tragedy about Mesmer from season 1 is how his telepathy abilities could actually be used for many more practical applications. I mean, Frenchie had the idea to use him so they can glean information as to who Kimiko was since she was mute. But it makes you wonder why intelligence agencies weren't thinking to recruit Mesmer as an interrogator, to give an example.

I imagine the CIA is burned out on superheroes.

Especially since they're all glory hound morons.

Then what do you have to say about Mallory taking Soldier Boy's body? Other than that I imagine maybe Mallory intends to use Soldier Boy's body to develop new ways of depowering Supes.

I've seen some people think that Starlight's plan to deal with Homelander was foolish, that it was shortsighted for her response to him threatening to destroy the country if she released the Flight 37 footage was to essentially blackmail him again in a different way. But I don't think it was a bad idea.

Because the reality is, when Homelander made those threats in 3x04, he was largely making very empty threats. Her livestreaming his confession to Supersonic's murder was her calling his bluff, and saying that she knows he's largely just talk. He can threaten to destroy the world, and he probably is more than capable of following through on those threats...but he's not actually going to follow through on those threats because he's an emotionally fragile person who is desperate for approval. Homelander needs people to worship him, and he's not going to get that if he mass murders people. If he did carry through on those threats, well, he'd quickly learn what Talos described best in Secret Invasion (2023): "You don't understand the first thing about humans. They're at their most formidable when they're threatened by a common foe."

That's what she meant when she said, "Here's the thing: I'm not scared of you anymore. I'm not. I see who you are. I see how small you are. I saw it. I saw it the night that you killed Supersonic." She's saying, "I know that your threats to destroy the world if I released the Flight 37 video were for the most part just that, threats. You might be capable of doing it, but you won't actually do it, because nothing matters to you more than being loved. If you did act on those threats, the whole world (and not just me, Hughie, Butcher, Frenchie, MM, Maeve, and Stan Edgar) would see you for the manchild you really are, and they would all unite to bring you down."

Plus the video serves another purpose: now no one who supports Homelander has the excuse of falling for Vought's PR.

So if Tek Knight is here in Gen V, then who is Jeffrey Dean Morgan going to take a role in?

Also, I'm interested in Gen V since it's basically R-rated Sky High/X-Men. I do wonder how Soldier Boy has anything to do with the university before season 3.
