Steph walks down the corridor, curiously.

Lily grabs the pistol from her hip instinctively, then looks down at it in surprise "Wha—since when have I had a PISTOL?!" Looking down, she grows even more confused. "And where'd this dagger come from, too?! I don't remember having these weapons!"

"I have a feeling that whatever we're thinking, this dimension produces out of thin air." Steph says as she thinks hard, "So if I think about how to escape, it should provide us with something sooner or later." Steph thinks hard and a portal appears soon afterwards, "If I could guess, I guess this leads to somewhere else, or possibly inside my own mind...?"

"Shh! Don't tempt fate like that!" Lily says, paranoidly, as if someone was listening. "Don't give them any ideas!" Nervously checking as if to see if they were being watched, she continued. "We can't trust ANYTHING...well, except for each other. And also maybe...no, I doubt they'd be here, that'd be stretching it..."

Christine follows behind Carl, a bit nervous. The corridor reminds her a little too much of the Phantom's lair.

Carl looked at the portal Stephanie had created. "I have a feeling it won't be that easy." Then he looked at the group. "Do we want to try it though?"

Steph nods, "Certainly, and we'll find out what's on the other side of this door!"

Lily fiddles with her new pistol. "Man this thing has a lot of modes...wait is this a Splatoon mode?! ...Well, things just got about 15% more epic..." Looking up, she shrugs. "Well, it's a cool portal. And I'm pretty sure the Brit ain't GLaDos, so we're safe from that possibility... Basically, I'm in."

Sunada would shrug.

”Worth a shot.”

The British voice spoke up again.

???: You know that portals only gonna lead you back in here, right? There’s no way to find another way out. You need to find this place’s one exit.

Sunada would look at the portal, shrugged, and jumped in.

Instead of an exit, Carl and whoever went through after would find themselves in a dimly lit room. Two figures which looked like statues could be seen standing at a table.

Cautiously and slowly, sword drawn Carl apoached the table and the two figures there.

Steph cautiously asks the statues if they had a riddle for them?

The lights in the room suddenly brightened. This revealed two men, who were definitely not statues. They were just standing completely still. Both looked similar, having short dark brown hair, beards, and black hats. The only major differences between them was their clothing.

The man on the left was dressed as a Tudor noble, while the man on the right was dressed in black robes. Science and maths equipment sat on the table, and a white blur was painted on the floor. On the far side of the room, a sheet of glass floated in mid-air.

The figures didn't respond to Steph's question.

"Floating glass?... MAGIC WINDOW! OR MIRROR! OR SOMETHING! Oh, and sorry for yelling, mysterious strangers. Btw, I like your outfits."

Both men would react.

Robed Man: Wh- Oh. -to Steph- No, no riddles to tell you right now...

Noble: -to Lily- Thanks.

Sunada wouldn't be focusing on the men, but on the floating glass. He would look at the other side of it, seeing the men and the table, and anyone who went up to them, as an oil painting. Sunada actually recognised the painting from before he ended up in the hotel. It was almost exactly like The Ambassadors◊, just without the curtain (and with anyone who went up to the two men appearing in the painting as well).

"So I guess the main goal is to get the Ambassadors to make peace with each other?" Steph queries, she seems to like mental challenges, "Or should we look to their items as clues?" she starts glancing at each of the items shown next to the two figures.

Lily stares at the white blur. "This almost looks like..."

Getting down at an angle, she grins. "Yep it's an optical illusion! This white blur is actually a skull! ...Though it's in bad shape, I gotta say...look at how streched it is!"

She turns to the others. "I...really like optical illusions. Especially paradox figures. I can draw an impossible triangle...and square...and I've attempted a few other figures...like an impossible Triforce...and I'm rambling..."

Carl Sheathed his sword and spoke to the two figures. "Do you know where you are? Is there anything you can tell us about this place? Who are you?"

Both men just pause for a few seconds before speaking again.

Noble: Well, we’ve already made peace so that probably isn’t it...

Cloaked Man: And we don’t know who we are or where we are. -small laugh, followed by frowning-

"Yeah, sounds like an identity crisis."

Sunada would look back at the painting, seeing a pair of red eyes in the corner of it.

"Uh, guys?"

Carl looked at where Sunada was looking and pulled out his sword. He pointed at the eyes with it and asked the Cloaked Man, "Know anything about that?"

"Uh oh... Red Eyes, Take Warning, everyone! I gotta feeling that bad things will happen!...Man, I haven't worked on my novelization of that comic in forever..." Lily draws her gun. "Anyways, let's see if I know how to use this..."

Robed Man: Huh-

A tall, pitch black figure wearing rags suddenly leaps out of the shadows, flinging the robed man into the air.

Steph looks extremely cautious at the sight of the robed man being thrown by the pitch-black man just appearing out of nowhere, "Aiiiee! That gave me a fright!"
