Rufus moves closer to Masakh, growling at him.

"   ...Croc? You mean this?   " Masakh taps his Sobek mask. "   Oh no, this is just a mask. I decided not to show my face long ago.   "

"   Anyway, listen up, strange suit man, puny shrimp man, and dog. As much as I want to crush people like you, my real unfinished business is to find my pharaoh. So, unless you know where is the body of Queen Nanu, I will give you one last chance to run away.   "

"...Hey! You can't call me puny! I'm the only one at the zoo who'll get close to the Siberian tiger! The other guys, they won't even come near it, and they'll insist I go in the enclosure. Come on, people, it's just a big kitty!"

"   ...What. Just go, okay?   "

"   What's happening is that I'm losing my patience! It's been 17 days and you humans are still standing here! Well, no more Mr. Nice Guy.   "

Masakh attempts to hit Matthew again, but Matthew blasts him with his ray.

"   Aaagh!   "

Masakh attempts to power through and slowly prepares to hit Matthew again.

"Someone, help! I need more power!"

Rufus charges at Masakh, attempting to bite his arm holding the staff.

"Can you grab another blaster? We must have some lying around!" Matthew shouts to Priscilla.

The blast from the ray turns Masakh a little more solid, and Rufus' bite hurts him even more. Just a little more power should stop him.

I hope it's fair to assume that there are.

"A-alright!"
(Priscilla then finds a extra blaster and picks it up.)
"What now?"

"Flip the two switches on the side, then aim at Masakh and pull the trigger!"

(And so, Priscilla flips the two switches, aims, and pulls the trigger.)
"I hope this works!"

The ray hits Masakh. He groans once more... but then slams his staff down on the ground, shaking the ground and freeing himself from the rays and Rufus' bite. He then floats into the air and disappears.

"   Very impressive...   " his voice echoes. "   You teamed up on me... just like the ones who killed me. Well, no matter, I will return. I will find my pharaoh... even if I have to destroy every last one of you to do it.   "

Masakh is gone. Now the only ghost left is Barclay.

Louie wasn't terribly far from Matthew and Priscilla's fight with Masakh, but his attention was diverted from that conflict by the buzzing mason jar stuck in his backpack. Barclay had come to after a deghost ray-inflicted nap, and he was pissed.

   "What did you do to me, uh... whatsyername..."    The sound of snapping fingers came from the jar, and Louie took it from his pack.

"Louie."

   "LOUIE! WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?!"   

"You're on time-out, dude," Louie said, tilting his helmet at the question. "Pretty sure the Biancos were gonna take you back to their shop for research purposes."

   "I'd sooner perish than serve the likes of that weird family, and YOU, ya traitor!"    He tried to launch the jar out of Louie's gloves, but the diver-suit ghost caught it before it fell to the ground.    "Scoundrels, all of ya! When I get out of this thing I'll turn you all into mounts on the merry-go—"   

Louie put the jar in the bag atop his jetpack, and zipped the pocket with a flick of the wrist. "Dude, shut up."

"Yeah, I'm fine, sis," says Matthew. He puts his ray down and runs over to hug Priscilla and Rufus.

Felix breathes a sigh of relief. He runs up to hug his kids and dog, beaming.

Well done, all of ya!

He then turns to Louie and reaches his hand out to shake.

Louie shook the patriarch's hand and tightened the straps on his pack. "No more croc to worry about, huh? Crikey," he said.

"You guys are so cool!"

"Yeah, you too!" Matthew says to Louie.

"So... I guess that's taken care of, aside from Masakh threatening to return. What should we do now?"
