I really like clocks too! We don't really have any fancy clocks at my house, and I don't know all those different brands, but I just love the aesthetics of clocks and clockworks in general.
You should see Clocks of Control, a trope I created out of this love for clock aesthetics. :P
Still hoping for Klonoa to get a new game... or a movie like thisClocks are great, yes.
If I get a room in my house and money, I really want a big, magnificent grandfather clock.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I have a watch in the form of a Fit Bit, tis nice.
I have another watch that I got at the PX while in the US Army, it's battered, beaten, the wrist strap barely holds together with the velcro and I've put the watch face back together a couple of times but it's still tickin'. Until it dies once and for all, I'm keeping it.
I also have another old wind-up watch that I really should get repaired and brought back to life since it was my grandfather's watch. I originally intended to take that with me to the Army but it broke right before shipping out.
I also have a couple of stopwatches for fitness purposes. One of em I've had since college and part of a number has burned out, well both of em I've had since college but the blue one the first one has been more my favorite.
Got an Apple Watch from Maxfield while on holiday at LA in June '15, along with an email congratulating me on being "one of the first". My dream timepiece would be a transparent Quinting.
I'd rather be known as a "wrong 'un" than a "right one".I own at least one hourglass and a broken wristwatch
New theme music also a boxI got a Fujitime titanium wristwatch for high school graduation. It's still going, although one of the watch repairmen told me it needs some internal cleaning and seals are giving up.
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisAs for my next watch, I am thinking of getting a Timex Expedition Traditional. If I do end up getting it, it would be my very first watch with leather straps.

Talk about watches, clocks, pocket watches, and other devices used to tell/measure time. Heck, things like sundials or hourglasses too would do.
But to be honest, I just launched this thread to talk about wristwatches, because I am really fixated with those recently!
To get a conversation started, what kind of timepieces do you own? Do you have particular timepieces you wish to own?
My house doesn't have any clocks. Well, working ones that is. I have one broken clock, but never really bothered to fix that.
As for watches, I used to wear Invicta Pro Diver (I think it was 8926?) for about four years and stopped functioning. Then I joined the army, during which I wore a Casio G-Shock. Now, I wear a humble Casio Analogue Quartz Watch, or more specifically, MQ 24-7B2. Cost about...what, 9-10 dollars?
I plan to very slowly upgrade my watches. I'm currently thinking along the line of Timex, Citizen, Hamilton, Tag Heuer, Rolex, Jaeger-Le Coultre and eventually Patek Philippe. The cheapest Calatrava, and probably about when I'm about 50 or 60. XD
As for Rolex a Datejust, and for JLC either Master Ultra Thin Moon or Date.
