OK, here's where this thread is standing, with the unlocking:
Given the widespread backlash and complaining about certain aspects of the work (i.e. Dexit), we wanted to communicate very clearly what we are not willing to put up with: prolonged, circular complaining (or wonking).
Of course, with a controversial subject that has a large impact on the gameplay, Dexit is in one of those areas where there it may be on-topic to discuss it, but the nature of that discussion can wildly vary. As has been said elsewhere, we ix-nayed discussion of Dexit entirely because it never seemed to happen without devolving into that kind of complaining.
However, we're willing to unlock the thread after this 3-day cooldown period because the Pokemon General thread has been stable enough. And -
Can I discuss Dexit?
Yes. But if there is prolonged wonking on it, the thread just becomes an echo chamber of complaints and we do not like that. No one likes that. The same rules as ever apply. Be a constructive, healthy space. Have conversations about what you like, and what you don't like, but the thread should not get locked into a series of bitter complaints.

Also i dont think the elephant is polt3ageist. The Pokemon Rose throws out has yet to be revealed, but it matches the elephant like shape.

I'm guessing the girl in the Eevee costume is supposed to be a Galarian Mimikyu, with an Eevee costume instead of a Pikachu costume. Curious what Mothra and 6-armed Machamp are supposed to symbolize.
Maybe 6-armed Machamp just symbolizes Galarian Machamp, which have another pair of arms instead of legs.

Y'know, there's been a lot of Galarian forms, but not many original Pokémon thus far. At least, not any especially remarkable ones. How many new Pokémon are we getting in this generation?

Wha? No, I meant that both clefable/gengar and fat pikachu could be read as indicative of morpeko. ...Though looking back the fat pikachu is probably referring to pikachu being described as having "retro fat pikachu" as it's g-max form. An awful lot of things on that image are taken from the leak, close trailer analysis or general speculation, actually. Kinda makes me doubt it's veracity

Oh, my bad. I thought you were talking about the armored Chipmunk and the Squirrel with the acorn. For some reason I thought the Clefable-Gengar thing was supposed to be Impidimp, but Morepeko makes more sense I guess.

Umm, no? Morpeko has nothing in common with a Clefairy/Gengar hybrid whatsoever.
It has the half and half thing in common.
