I really like it.

"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."(Annoyed grunt)
Works for me.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportThis is well worth waiting for permission to use.
The Rosers were red. The Drownies are blue. I know What the Thunder Said. Do you? It's good.
If we can get permission.
Keet cleanupIf a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?
I already wrote it in the general thread. It's a great find.
I sent the artist a note on dA, but she hasn't been to her page in a long time so another route may need to be taken.
Clock is set. Still no word from the artist.
Would it be kosher if we simply link the artist in the caption? If they want to have it taken down, they can always message us.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Yeah, if the thread ends up clocking out with no word then that'll work.
I think so to. Most people would be flattered and they definitely welcome links.
Artists at least appreciate being linked to if they weren't asked permission. Plus asking forgiveness is easier anyway.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? The clock's up and I still haven't heard from the artist. I've gone ahead and put the pic up with the source and artist page links. Locking up.
Branching out of Image Suggestion thread.
I've found this nice fanart of the Trope Namer for The Bluebeard (source):
Unfortunately, we'd need a permission for it, and while it probably would pose little problem getting it and regardless of its illustrative qualities, it would be inappropriate to put it into the IS thread's crowner before we got the artist's permission.
So, starting this thread in case other tropers want to weigh in and offer some alternatives that are free to use or even more illustrative or offer opinions on the suggestion.
