Yeah, he played Sylvester Stallone in some romantic comedy.

He was also the main villain of the third Spy Kids movie as a Reality Warper in a video game if that counts.

Glad they remembered Rain is brown-skinned.

I mean he isn't brown skinned in any of the games AFAIK but he does give off a psuedo-middle eastern vibe since MKA so I'm fine with it.

Rambo is lame though. Nobody really asked for that and we don't need another HUR HUR I SHOOT GUNZ type character, we have enough of those already, especially dlc.

I think Rambo is because the trend with the last few guest characters, excepting Spawn and the Joker, has been action movie characters.

John Spartan in Demolition Man was kinda superpowered in that action movie hero kind of way, like John Matrix in Commando.

I think Rambo's going to be more of a trap-heavy character than a going in guns blazing sort of character.

Yeah, the theme this time around is "I grew up in the 80's" action characters and icons. Spawn isn't a movie character, but he does still hit that niche. Joker is the only exception, but I think we should start expecting there to be at least one DC character in every MK game.

In terms of guest theme, Spawn is paired off with Joker as a comic book character.

Similar to how MKX had “slasher villains” and “sci-fi monsters,” and Injustice 2 had “comic book characters” and “Mortal Kombat characters.”

Though huh if she were to arrive we can finally have Harley kill Joker & vice-versa.

There still seems to be room for three more characters. I wonder of Ash Williams is still on the cards

I wouldn't get my hopes at this point. But i wish, Ash would be cool.

[x13] Well, his character in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Stakar, is a superpowered being known as Starhawk in the comics, but there's nothing to suggest the MCU version has any powers. At the very least, he's still a space pirate with access to fancy alien tech.

Yeah, I've been eager for Ash since he was first leaked, since he's one of my favorite characters ever, and Army of Darkness is one of my favorite movies of all time. I'll remain cautiously optimistic that there's more to come, what with datamining extra character slots and the fact that Ed's clues hinted at four new characters.

EDIT: Oh, wait, I forgot about those lines someone found in the code from the '95 movie actors. Looks like we may still have at least a skin pack to look forward to.
