Yeah this is one I think nobody would mind if he got replaced by his doppelganger
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.The cover spread looks so raw. But this is Assault and Tamaki so this is gonna be interesting
she/herOnly one person can beat Assault...
...and that is Assault.
With an blindfold on.
Ohkubo pls
This feels like meta-commentary on fanservice. I'm not sure how much of it was planned, or it's just Ohkubo writing a post-hoc justification for all the Tamaki sexualization now that the plot's gone haywire.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Letโs be real
This is Ohkubo going oh yeah itโs big brain time
Basically nonsense and Iโm here for it
Either way the dialogue is going to be incredibly stupid in a good way.
I need a new sig.Looking at the raws for next chapter... yeah, that's about right.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.When you started talking about meta-commentary I thought you were talking about the 281 raws already.
I need a new sig.The mom might as well have turned into a straw effigy in this chapter.
I need a new sig.My brain
Is not big enough for this Ohkubo
Got to appreciate the giant Logic Bomb and middle finger aimed at the "moral guardian insanity" that tend to cause more ruckus than a factory full of chickens whenever something they don't "like" shows up.
This author is a madman and a genius and I am loving it.
I sure hope Tamaki gets to a cool moment out of this sillyness.
Secret SignatureWhat a weird mix of Author Tract strawmen, meta-reality-warping insanity and what feels like tongue firmly in cheek.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.This is, by far, one of the most meta things I have ever read in my life. The kid's commentary was surprisingly on point, and I died of laughter watching the Assaults fight
she/herOhkubo fucking snapped with this chapter.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Uh... I was expecting Assault vs Assault but what
Doppelgรคnger Benimaru vs Kurono
Kurono: โthis is power harassmentโ lmao
Dude really tried so hard to nope out of this
Now itโs time to face myself Beni vs Beni
I hope the property damage gets taken to a minimum
Wondering how Beni's doppelganger vs Dragon would go.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Finally caught up after so long. Here's my brief thoughts.
- Kurono is awesome.
- Tamaki + Assault vs. Doppel Assault was so meta that it was amazing. Some moments did feel a bit like an Author Tract, and some were just pure "WTF" like the 8th stripping too, but it was so Narm Charm I couldn't help but enjoy it. I guess the "Lucky Lecher" won't be a thing anymore though now that Tamaki has embraced the lewdness.
- I knew there was no way Burns was dead, just didn't expect him to merge with his Doppelganger. Now he's a badass literal Noble Demon though, so no complaints.
- Beni v. Doppel Beni... considering how destructive a fight involving normal Beni is, I'm not sure there will be any of the city even left after their fight.
- Arthur's death was beautiful... is what I would say if I believed he's actually dead.
Yeah, I don't actually think Arthur is dead.
Ah, you are correct random nameless troper, but he's the fine print: Adolla. Adolla is pretty much what makes fantasy into reality via influencing the collective consciousness.
- Arthur being able to breath in space due to thinking like an RPG
- Faerie attempting to cause despair by crashing the moon
- Tamaki becoming a symbol of Hope brought by "lewdness"
Well, we know Shinra still believes Arthur to be alive, we know the 8th hopes Arthur is still alive. If Shinra is able to influence the collective consciousness into believing that Arthur is alive and can come home, then so long as Adolla is still influencing the world, it will happen. So long as Shinra continues to believe Arthur is still alive, he'll be able to literally cheat death. Vegeta: I'm back bitches!
The newest chapter for Fire Force is out and it is a real doozy.
Man, I didn't expect Inka to just bite it like that. Good riddance. The Evangelist being just an incarnation of Adolla makes a lot of sense, considering how in personal terms it's been a complete non-entity as far as the plot goes, pretty much just being a figurehead and power source. Haumea is as good a final boss as any.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Inca and Sumire just dying like that felt kind of anti-climatic. And while Haumea is an interesting villain, I'm not sure how I feel about the Evangelist turning out to just be the Collective Unconscious and speaking through Haumea. Especially when the narration keeps hinting at Haumea being very sad and pitiful, as if it's suggest Shinra and Sho need to save her. So I don't know how I feel about her allegedly being the real Big Bad. Especially when... well, we're still waiting on where Mari Kusakabe is since she's still alive, and we still need to save Iris and have another confrontation with Amaterasu.
Vegeta: I'm back bitches!Another 🤔 chapter good job Ohkubo
Literal you get what you deserve lol
Assault is strong
