Yeah, that list sounds like extremely wishful thinking. Pretty much all of those characters are ones that have either been rumoured for years or are the current flavor of the month in its respective sub-section of Smash fandom. If anything, the Stanley thing is there only to make it look legit.

Remember when a "leak" was shared that had Steneee in it? You should treat this "leak" with the same respect you gave that which was hopefully none.

Yeah, I don't really believe this """leak""", but I do fruitlessly hope for Stanley's inclusion...

I don't want this leak to be true because it doesn't have Isaac, but that's probably exactly the reason that it is true.

Custom Robo is probably out of Sakurai's hands unless he asks permission to the other owner. Explains why it isn't in Smash 4.

Mistrust all leaks until they're proven true.

'Leak' implies that it's actual information that slipped through the cracks from its original source. Until it turns out that any such 'leaks' are true, I consider them as rumours and nothing more.

Speaking of which, LaxChris strikes back with yet another leak:

But having Steve and Vault-Boy being fighters while Klonoa and Travis Touchdown are stuck as Assist Trophies makes me grumble while having the sun salutation guy from Dark Souls as an assist trophy makes me go "...what."

Vergeben strikes again, claims that Steve is playable with a stage and an Assist Trophy. Also some shit about crabs

Correction; he claims the character could possibly be playable.

That's a huge difference, as he isn't confident the character is in. The only characters Verg is confident are going to be playable right now are Ken, Incineroar, and a Square-Enix rep(though this one mayyyyyyy be DLC). He won't say the SE rep, due to protecting who the users are. Cause leaking can get you in serious trouble.

Take it with a grain of salt, because it doesn't absolutely mean the character is playable, just that they could be. I wouldn't mind either, to be honest.

If it's a fake leak then it's a pretty good one. His foot is even clipping through the ground slightly.

Why does Ken have such a butterface?

And, yeah, even if it is real it's not really saying anything we don't already know.

If it's fake then it blows the Rayman one out of the water in how convincing it is.

Biggest thing I've seen someone point out so far is that the metal panel Pac-Man/Ken are on doesn't have their shadows, which is a really obscure bug that's since been found to be in the actual game.

More (possible) evidence.

The inconsistencies match the ones in Ultimate itself.

At first, I was thinking the Image was fake because Ken just looks so odd compared the other fighters (it looked like he had a black outline at certain parts of him, and I don't remember the exact scale for characters, but I don't think Pichu is as big as Pac Man). However, the certain intricacies that would be rather hard for any normal person to fake (the shadow and foot-phasing specifically) are making me reconsider. I'm going to remain neutral on this leaked photo, instead of outright dismissing it.

Also, Lord Vatek, can you please warn people that you're linking 4Chan images? I'm sure a lot of us don't want to go there like I don't.

I'm curious to get others' read on this: Apparently one of the people who was backing up what Vergeben was saying about Steve also claimed that Nintendo is in talks with Cygames to get Katalina from Granblue Fantasy◊ as DLC.

Ordinarily I would put no stock into this but there is a Granblue action RPG made by Platinum coming out (and she is the main character of it) which is confirmed to be getting an English release and could also get a Switch port, they're already teaming up with Cygames to make Dragalia Lost, and Nintendo owns a 5% share in them.

I strongly doubt the legitimacy of what this person is saying, but the idea is not as absurd as it sounds on paper.

You know, I thought I had grown past the whole "One character I don't like can ruin the roster for me," thing, but the notion that Steve might actually be playable did make my blood boil a little just now. Can't really explain why; I don't even particularly dislike Minecraft, but something about a Minecraft character in Smash just really doesn't sit well with me.

If Steve from Minecraft is playable I'll start a salt extraction firm,because all dat salt would make me very very rich!
