Apparently Vergeben in the past has mentioned about knowing a newcomer that was kind of controversial. I don't know how controversial would they be but i hope it's not Goku or anything like that.

My guess would be the SE rep not being Geno (not a huge loss) or being a character not many of us are accounting for. Maybe someone like another anime swordman for the crowd to complain about.

If that's true: Dragon Quest is the most likely candidate. If a character from that gets in, they'll bring their music with them and DQ's composer is a shitheel.

In all seriousness, did not see Isabelle as not being an echo. But Isabelle is by far my favorite part of Animal Crossing, so I'm happy with this.

My question is her fishing pole move. I first thought it was going to be her grab, but the character video shows her using the net. I guess it's going to be her up special, working like a tether similar to Ivysaur's Vine Whip?

Her Up special is a move similar to Villager's Balloon Trip where she rides a bench being lifted up by three balloons. People are saying the fishing rod is her Side special.

Could still work like a tether, akin to Zamus' side B.

Yeah, I was thinking that as well. It's pretty obvious that it'll more than likely have that function.

Since Loid Tree appears to be her down B (as it looks like a downward directional appearing move), I bet the fishing pole is her side B.

Also, he clarified later in that thread that the only echo he ever heard about was Ken. In case someone suspects Ken being a semi-clone like Isabelle
