How many calls for cutting before we can do so? Or should we wait until a mod calls for it?
'Unresolved' and 'copout' IMO are two very different things though. And the example list of 'copout' is absolutely all over the place from something happening out of left field to hand waving to never going back to it to the show getting canned.
Honestly we should split the examples to where they go
- Unresolved Cliff Hanger: never gets touched on again, it might as well never had happened. X Files did this a lot.
- Cliffhanger Cop Out: Handwaved cliffhanger or an excuse plot is created to settle the cliffhanger, such as making it All Just a Dream or changing the events from the cliffhanger episode to the resolution such as adding a character to a scene. Lots of Plotholes are created with this one.
Maybe make it a redirect?
Health sure is versatile. It's possible to be both light-headed and dim-witted. At the same time, no less.
Even if we wanted to keep the idea, as it is the page is so bad we would probably be better off just going back to TLP.

The name sounds like it could also apply to a series that was Cut Short on a cliffhanger.

I see how it might be different form Cliffhanger Cop Out, but as written...
No, written is to strong a word for it in it's current state. Cut or back to TLP.
Is taking it back to TLP any different than cutting it than pasting the content into a new TLP draft?

Not seeing a meaningful difference to Cliffhanger Copout. It could become a fourth bullet on that page and be done.

I was under the impression that Unresolved Cliffhanger was for when a show gets cancelled before the resolution can be aired, and Cliffhanger Copout was for cliffhangers that do get resolved, but in an unsatisfying way.
How did you get that impression?

Nevermind, I got confused with Left Hanging.
I agree that just skipping the resolution of the cliffhanger and moving on should just be a bullet point on Cliffhanger Copout.

I'm in favor of cutting Unresolved Cliffhanger as a duplicate to Left Hanging.

Option 1 (Expand the description of Cliffhanger Copout to include the idea of cliffhangers that are never mentioned again and cut Unresolved Cliffhanger) has the most votes in favor of it. Since the crowner's been up since last October, is it safe to call, or does it need more votes? I recall seeing that cut options require more votes, but I think this would be more of a merge since it involves moving examples to Cliffhanger Copout.

Unresolved Cliffhanger seems redundant with Cliffhanger Cop Out, and the page has no links or examples and would never have been approved for launch in it's current state. It was made back in 2013, has brough in 144 people and has only 4 wick.
It's so poor as is I see no reason not to just cut. Any other ideas?
