Poor Image (POLL - due 7/27): Boy Band

Boy Band currently has two pics, one of the Backstreet Boys (maybe an album cover?) and one of One Direction with signs showing their roles. The latter pic's quality is pretty shoddy, and the former's really not illustrative, so I have some ideas: 1◊, 2◊, 3◊, 4◊, 5◊

Thoughts? It's hard to find good quality pics of these groups from in their original runs.

Kind of like the last two.

Needs to be a collage, More than one nationality too.

add D-Date ◊, Arashi[1]◊ or [[smap https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/jpop/images/e/e0/Smap_in_2016_p1.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20161231192838]]. Something from The Monkees and Menudo would round it out.

Those have the same issue as the current; a pic of them singing helps get the “band” aspect across.

A Boy Band is not actually a band, they are just a collection of hot guys that can barely sing. Those images are representative of what they are, not one album cover of a Boy Band will ever show them singing.

Well anyway one image is not representitive at all. They got their start in England, then there are American ones, there are K-Pop Boybands, J-Pop ones, Latin America ones... we need at least 1 of each.

I think that’s heading into overkill territory, unless there’s obvious differences that need to be highlighted.

1.1 and 1.2 and actually 1.5 mainly for image quality reasons and from my reading the trope is a bit more than "group of men who sing", there is a kind of "immaturity" aspect to it.

Well, sonuvabitch...crowners are apparently jacked up. I tried to create an actual crowner for this one since the poll tanked but the coding for the examples is inserting code that messed up the UR Ls of the pics. I'll see if I can tinker a workaround.
