Yeah, I think Goops is founder's Enemy Without.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."I don't know if Anemone is Willfully Weak or is under a Power Limiter of some kind, but it seems like now we can get a sense of just how powerful she is.

If Anenome the first Magical Girl we've seen with Mismatched Eyes, not counting Zoe, whose eyes are both the same color regardless of the mismatch?
Probably not, since the announcement tweet emphasizes it

You can link to wiki pages by writing them in CamelCase. WillfullyWeak becomes Willfully Weak. For single words, put them in double braces. {{Plot}} becomes Plot. See the "Linking to Pages" section of Text-Formatting Rules for more details.
Note that Devin is reading the Lockdown Procedures manual.
Well they seem surprisingly chill about this.
Get your game face on.
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.I feel like in a movie, this is the sort of heroism that ends with a closeup of her arm and chewing sounds on loan from a nature documentary.

My posts make considerably more sense read in the voice of John Ratzenberger.Alternatively, we'll see Vedika's training with the training club pay off and possibly learn a new application of her powers re: fighting monsters.
So regular guns are effective against monsters, but magical girls are used because they are immune to the "poison", which I assume is that mental torture thing the monsters do.
I think that's a flare gun Vedika is being given. They're calling for help but need to risk the outside to do it.
I'd say, "Wouldn't they have a way to signal from indoors?" but it's possible the barrier would interfere with anything shooting from inside, and cover up any lights, and so forth. Also, something like this hasn't come up in a long time.
Makes me wonder if no houses in this town have fireplaces, come to think of it.
Probably can't use the stove/oven at night. That, or take out the batteries and hope CO doesn't get you.
...I assume there was already a flare chambered, and Vedika wasn't about to run out into no adult's land with a paperweight.
My posts make considerably more sense read in the voice of John Ratzenberger.Yes you can see a shot getting loaded on the previous page.
Team Fortress 2 taught me that getting hit in the face with a flare hurts, and getting hit with two flares in succession hurts a lot. So Vedika might just be able to use the extra ammo.
Yep. Right into that wide open mouth.
Well, that's one way to do it.
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.Expecting one of the other MG teams to see the flare and come running, unless there are flares going up all over the city in which case it is a tossup.
If, by chance, HP and AW see the flare and respond, one of them will probably stay to watch over the facility while the other goes chasing after ME to help her.
Maybe.....
I like ME and I hope she survives this. Would be even better if she finally discovered a use for her powers, or if her powers evolved from Non-combat to something useful when fighting a monster.
It never really made sense why a MG would end up with a power that had no practical application, unless it has a use but Vedika never figured out what it was because she never engaged in combat before.
While we all know HP, I feel it may be worth noting that AW is Alchemical Water/Undine and ME is Mindful Eye/Vedika, since I rarely see anyone refer to them by their Magical Girl names or abbreviations of.

I'm curious if this fusion represents a completed Goops, and this is how she was historically prior to whatever made her into Goops, or if it's Tessa tempering some of Goops spite and murderiness with her own depression and self-loathing to create a more balanced contrast to Goops prior behavior. I'm leaning toward the latter, but we still don't know a whole lot about Goops so I could potentially see the former, but I'm getting potential Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde vibes from the Woman In White and Goops with the most recent pages, with the "tried to get rid of me" thing.
