Blazblue: Cross Tag Battle

Only if Capcom's willing tho.

Though seriously I kinda expect them to release up to 4 Arcana Heart characters before revealing a new Fate.

I've actually thought of an idea a long time ago that I wish could be a reality; BlazBlue: Cross Tag Strangers, a crossover between this game and Blade Strangers! One of the things I thought for it's story is that Lina and System would fuse together to become "Lina-System", and characters from Crystal Crisis would also be featured in the playable roster (Which it seems like Blade Strangers is going to do as DLC anyway if Aban Hawkins is any indication).

What I'd expect for other new entries (not counting new fates)

Blazblue:

• Celica
• Kokonoe
• Kagura
• oddball choice: Hibiki

UNIEL:

• Hilda
• Erika
• Chaos
• oddball choice: Nanase

Persona:

• Ken Amada
• Tohru Adachi
• Sho Minazuki (the one with the persona, although I wonder if the two can be combined)

Since this hasn't been mentioned yet, BBTag will be part of EVO 2019's lineup.

And it's finals will be on Sunday. So expect an announcement.

Probably when they reveal the 6th series to join.

I personally wouldn't mind, but from what I can tell they would have to rework a lot of sprites

Except for Blazblue, the pool of characters isn't very large. Can't see more than 1-2 character packs past the one we have.

Maybe when it comes to making new sprites, but we got to get 4 returning characters at the very least.

I'm hoping for a Melty Blood or a Skullgirls, or Avatar featuring Korra for the next franchise.

I just really like the idea of having three female protagonists to go along with our three male protagonists. It's all symmetrical that way.

Or you know any fucking villain, not Hazama or Azarel.

We can't cuz they'll overshadow the main villain in this game.

Nine is the closest we got to a "major" villain (and even then she behaves a bit better in this game) In her tier, Hilda and maybe Cinder come close.

Oh, yeah the best villain in history getting overshadowed by more interesting villains how dare we upstage ASW here. Let's see Hilda, a woman who desires power very similar to Cinder with an interesting moveset. Adachi who is popular for his personality and his persona being a reskinned Yu beginner persona summon. Izanami or possibly Susanno both of whom are likely to be highly requested picks and happen to be integral to Blazblue's plot. But nah we clearly need big diamond thing over all these guys. -_-

If the game isn't about story and just fighting she is quite a decent option. Like Cinder having a good moveset, even if her character is rather bland in Volume 1-3.

All things consider, that would be a nice SNK boss to fight against.

Most people competitively don't care about that, hell, you have players who never done the stories in their life yet play religiously for the gameplay.

gameplay wise she's still a shitty unbalanced character
