So they were from different sides of the world and all seemed to have gotten to this place just recently. The situation was just getting more and more mysterious. Looking around, Tokoyami noticed that there were some staff for the station around, they would probably be the best source for them to ask about where they are.
"We should try talking to this station's staff, they might be able to unveil the mystery of this place for us," Tokoyami suggested.
"What's the big idea?!"
Looking at the source of this loud voice, plus the sound of someone slamming their hands onto a flat surface, they would notice what seemed to be a very angry looking crocodile man threatening one of said staff members, a young looking man, at one of the desks around the place.

New Rome, Central Station
"Looks like somebody thought of that before us." Fabiola frowned as she looked over to the scene. She looked over at the fledgling heroes, gave them a nod and made their way to the crocodile man.
"Excuse me, sir." She addressed the rowdy crocodile man. "Please, refrain from being rude. I assure you that there are many people here having trouble in going back home. Stressing out the staff won't make things better for anyone, yourself included."

So the group caught up to the silver-armoured man just in time to see him vaporise another civilian. Dar frowned. Every Tenno knew that the civvies — whether in the Relays or elsewhere — weren't fair game as far as weapon and mod testing went, and that no, it wasn't allowed to shoot Baro Ki'teer with an Opticor just because his stock was full of Primed Disappointment.
At the silvery-armored man's cryptic statement, Shantae looked confused, but angry at him at the same time, and landed in front of him, flapping her wings slightly as she stood there indignantly.
"I don't think we're the ones that need to be running now! You just blew up two innocent people, what's going on here?!" A pink and white flash of light and Shantae was in her usual half-genie form. She readied into a fighting stance. "Only a creep attacks helpless people!" Shantae insisted.

Skidding to a halt, watching helplessly as yet another innocent was slaughtered, he turned to the humanoid, staring at it emotionlessly.
"You. You run away. For I will show no kindness for what you did. You will scream."
An aura of killing intent filled the air as Sweet Mask leapt towards the monster to strike, veins pulsing and eyes bloody red...

bork"I wonder if that black misty guy had anything to do with this? But why would he bring a maid from South America here too? ...Wherever "here" is..." Ochaco thought, already starting to look around the station for a map, before the yelling started,
"Wow, you've certainly got the angry lizard look down." Urakara said as she took a step towards the counter "But is that really the first impression you wanna make?"
The crocodile man looked over to Fabiola and snarled. "Look, lady, that train was not supposed to come to wherever the hell this place is. There's something fishy going on here and I'm gonna find out what, if you don't like it you can go bother some of the other people running this place!" He then glanced at Ochaco, only looking more annoyed by her comment. "You think I care about first impressions, girl?!"
Looking around him, Tokoyami noticed that the conflict had drawn the attention of a lot of other members of the staff that were either afraid or trying to get someone to help. The victim, meanwhile, was just standing there in fear with a look in his eyes that was just begging for help.
"With the way you're disturbing everyone in here, I don't think he would be capable of getting any answers even if we tried," said Tokoyami as he approached the desk, "You should stop before you bring even more trouble towards you," he advised, keeping his cool as he tried to defuse the situation.
New Rome, Central Station
"Sir, you are not the only one caught in this predicament." Fabiola's voice was firm and unrelenting. "I understand you are upset, and you are not the only one. However, raising your voice like that isn't going to bring you any answers."
"Please, refrain from what you are doing before we all end up in trouble."
grah"Perhaps I have misjudged this situation..." murmured the alien as he backed away from the smouldering remains of the woman. That was when Shantae spoke up, demanding answers.
"My mission is-" Whatever he was about to say next was cut short when Sweet Mask lunged at him; the impact - clearly unexpected, the tackle sent him flying into a nearby wall - and allowing him to use his enemies omentum to neatly throw a suplex in Sweet Mask's direction as he got to his feet.
"You tamper with factors you scarce understand." he announced gravely, staring at the assembled heroes - before jetting off again, leaving a faint red arc as his feet rockets carried him into the horizon.
"Not really" Ochaco responded simply to the crocodile man's rhetorical question, "But it seems pretty unlikely that whoever's responsible is just gonna stand behind a counter here without having some precautions for angry people looking to use force to get their way"
Ahoy City - Sweet Mask
Groaning in pain as he slowly healed from the heavy blow, he eventually sat up, cursing the fact that the attacker had escaped.
"You... *cough* ...You guys alright?"

Sylvania - Traveler's Hub
Well, this guy definitely wasn't Blackwatch, Alex decided. He was far too eager, and looked too... hopeful.
For a moment, Alex cracked a smile. He casually walked up to the portal where Abel was staring.
"Well, I'll be off to the city if you need me. See you on the other side." With that, he calmly strode through the portal. Finding the portal to New Rome, he quickly went through that as well.
New Rome
An unfamiliar cityscape. It was wonderful. Tall buildings stretching out, just begging to be jumped across. Alex found the nearest convenient alleyway, made sure he was alone, and then jumped, flying upward and hitting the side of a building, which he began to sprint up, in defiance of physics.
From there he practically flew, gliding from rooftop to rooftop without a care in the world. Now if only there was a platoon of psychos for him to consume...
What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?Meetra - Ahoy City
"I am well, but I was not the one assaulted," Meetra said to Sweet Mask. "Do you require healing?""I could not sense the Dark Side coming from that man, and something about this situation seems... abnormal. She added. "Law enforcement would be able to tell us this woman's identity if she is from here, perhaps that may shed more light before we encounter him again."
Ahoy City - Sweet Mask
"I'm fine." he waves her off, "I heal fast."
Listening to her suggestion, he found himself nodding in agreement. "That would be the best course of action. Don't know what this 'dark side' is but I think I can guess, and even if it isn't that, this guy's out of our league."
Of course, he meant out of his league. But he would never admit that. Partially out of pride, partially out of fear to admit his loss.
Truthfully, it was worrying. He was much more powerful in his home world. Perhaps the journey had altered his abnormal body?

borkDar, via Banshee — Ahoy City
Its prey gone, Banshee holstered its twin SMGs. In response to Sweet Mask's question, the Warframe tapped its chest; its finger was stopped a few centimetres away from the carapace proper by a blue, hexagonal-pattern field that vanished quickly.
"That was no Corpus Proxy," it vocalised as it crouched down, head tilted; despite having no eyes or eye-holes, it seemed like it was inspecting the charred skeleton left behind by the vaporised girl. "Not Infested, either."
Abel watched Alex enter the portal and leave. He didn't even get to say thanks. Ah, well, maybe some other time. Now that he knew it finally existed, Abel needed to decide what to do in the Traveler's Hub now. He pondered this question for a few seconds before a low grumbling interrupted his train of thought.
He decided to ignore all the fantastical possibilities for now and get some grub.
Stepping through the portal hesitantly, he made his way down the hallway and looked around for a place that looked like it had food. Deciding on a pleasantly tropical area, he sized it up and quickly jumped through.
Meanwhile, in New Rome...
Whoever was unlucky enough to be standing near the gatee leading to the Traveler's Hub in New Rome and too thick to notice the giant black shadow approaching them would quickly be punished by a small flock of crows erupting from said gate. These crows in particular seemed to be rather bloodthirsty, and quite a few people were sadly caught in the dark and noisy cloud of face-scratching and eye-pecking. If anybody was keen enough to notice, they'd see a young man in black and purple robes unnaturally laughing his head off deep in the midst of angry birds.

"The Dark Side? Have you truly never heard of the Force?" Meetra asked Mask. "It is... everywhere.""What can you see, droid?" she added to Banshee. "Do your sensors tell you anything?"
Ahoy City - Sweet Mask
"Hm. Our worlds must function in different ways, because I have heard nothing regarding this 'force'."
He watches intently as the Banshee scans the corpse, inwardly wincing at its mutilated state.
borkAs the others were cooling off after the silvery figure ran off, Shantae gave chase. However, he was far too fast and if she danced, she would lose him. Shantae stopped, bending over and putting her hands on her knees, catching her breath.
"Yikes, he's fast," Shantae muttered under her breath. She then looked up, seeing a building labeled "gate". Shantae looked confused, then walked towards it. "Maybe he escaped into this building," Shantae thought out loud as she walked.

The Banshee wiped its fingers on the ground and got up, turning its eyeless gaze to Meetra. "Seems like a Grineer that got too close to an Ember, but there are no body modifications." It shrugged. "I have not heard of a 'Force', either. The important thing is, however — whatever shall we do next? There is no objective here."
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundThe crocodile man only seemed to get angrier as he snarled and grabbed Fabiola by the collar of her maid outfit. "If you don't wanna get yourself in trouble, lady, then just leave and none of you gets hurt, 'k?"
The action certainly grabbed the attention of the crowd and the rest of the staff. In particular the station's security was making their way over, but were refraining from acting now that Fabiola was in danger. That was omething that the crocodile man certainly noticed as he glanced around his surroundings, which did also distract him from Fabiola herself.
New Rome, Central Station
Oddly enough, Fabiola had no discernible reaction upon being handled so violently, only frowning upon the threats flying into her face. She had half a mind not to go right to the heaviest option available. This man was, hopefully, not a thug, but simply a concerned citizen, stressed and devoid of rational thinking.
"I was hoping we can solve this argument peacefully." She sighed, then let one of her sleeves a little looser than before. Out of it came... a one-handed shotgun that she, without a moment of hesitation, fired. The buckshot hit next to the crocoman's leg, avoiding hurting him, but close enough that all it took for Fabiola to actually start violence was a single flick of her wrist. "Now, we can do it the hard way... or the easy way." She said to the assailant, meeting his stare with her own, a finger still on the trigger.
grahWell, it certainly was tropical. The heat hit Abel like a truck, and he almost wanted to take his jacket off just to cool down. But then Rixis would be out, and he couldn't risk that, so he just dealt with the humidity and started scanning the area for a place with food and/or air conditioning.
As he made his way from the gate, Abel noticed a girl about his height running up to him. Instinctively, he hugged his jacket close and got ready to book it, but instead, she just ran right past him. Huh. Abel walked up to her, completely unaware that she was probably in a hurry. "Uh, excuse me..." he cleared his throat. "Excuse me, but I'm new here, and I was wondering if you knew a place where I can get something to eat?"
Henry had never heard a shotgun blast before, mostly because he was from a time where such technology did not exist and everybody still killed each other with swords, lightning, and lightning swords, but the loud noise was enough to grab his attention and scare away the last of the crows. Stepping over a whimpering man who was currently curled up into a ball on the floor, the Plegian dark mage watched the scene between Fabiola and the crocodile man at a safe distance. Hopefully that girl was feeling particularly bloodthirsty today...

So he wasn't lying. As Abel finally spotted the log cabins in the distance, he felt a twinge of...something. Relief? Joy? Something like that. His eyes widened, and suddenly he burst into a mad dash, ignoring anything and everything in his path. He actually pushed some guy to the side, looking back and shouting a short apology, which the guy didn't really accept. He refused to believe it until he actually saw it. And sure enough, it was right there.
He skidded to a halt in front of the massive archway and gazed up at it, awestruck. It was huge. How had Rixis not seen it? It must've been ten times his size! He looked through it and saw the hallway leading to what looked like a receptionist's desk, lined with weird booths manned by equally weird people. The whole idea of it was insane, but the proof was right in front of him.
He was standing before the entrance to the Traveler's Hub. His escape.
