Chuggaa's finally back with the postgame for Pokémon Black and White after a month-long absence.

The long running let's play of Dokapon Kingdom on the TRG channel has finally come to a close.

It's the end of an era. I'm kinda sad to see it go, actually.

Chuggaa's next Let's Play has been announced!

He's actually re-doing his first Let's Play!

That's pretty neat. It's one of the few early Chugga L Ps I haven't watched.

Plus, despite owning it on the Wii U, I only played it for about 5-6 hours.

I now own a SNES Classic Mini, so it looks like I might be doing a play along this time around!

Last time I did that was Partners in Time IIRC.

I started playing Earthbound a couple of days after the LP started, and I finished it yesterday.

I definitely enjoyed it a lot, and am glad Chuggaa did another LP of it, otherwise I don't know when I would have gotten around to paying it.

After about Threed I did start using the official players guide, which helped me out a lot.

The final fight gave me a little bit of trouble, because I didn't realize what the Sea Pendant did, and accidentally sold it in Magicant. Luckily, even though I had already saved past the Point of No Return, I had a single Night Pendant to keep Paula alive in the final section, while an Earth Pendant sufficed to keep Ness alive as a healer.

It's honestly shocking that he managed to survive so much abuse from his own father and bullying during his school years and not get any suicidal thoughts.

I probably won't watch it though [[note]]I do own the game though]], I'm still only at episode 30 of Earthbound Take Two.

It's just not the sorta Let's Play I like watching.

I'm going to paraphrase most of the last paragraph because it contains interesting information about what to expect for 2019;

Chugga's LP of "Yoshi's Woolly World" is over, and as always he sends a hint for the next LP at the end.

The hint this time is that the game is "very important to a lot of people's childhoods and teen years, and might have been their first introduction to a very beloved series, but I don't see a whole lot of people talking about this game today".

I think its probably going to be the first pokemon mystery dungeon (Red & Blue Rescue Team)?

Chugga announces his next LP:

It's The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.

I was taking a look at his Twitter yesterday, and it seemed like a lot of people guessed correctly.

I've personally only played PH + ST once. So it'll be fun to see Phantom Hourglass again.

I might even end up doing a replay at some point.

I'm not entirely sure why Phantom Hourglass has such a polarizing reputation, unless this is just the touch screen being ahead of its time.

Yep, that's what you're supposed to do. It's usually not apparent since he only LP's games he knows very well, but Emile isn't always the brightest when it comes to games.

Yeah; he's kind of an Idiot Savant like that. He's a Techno Wizard with the things he's been able to do with computers and video editing, and he's a repository of video game knowledge, but, outside of that, for the most part...

Speaking of, the A Link to the Past Let's Play ended a couple of days ago.

I've enjoyed it, like with Super Metroid, its interesting to see Emile play something he hasn't before.

They've done three playthroughs of a game Emile's never finished, and one of a game Tim's never played. I think it's only fair that they should find a game Jon's never played the next time they do another blind LP.

I'd love to see that.

Really need to catch up on the Link to the Past playthrough. Only on Episode 29.
