Since this is Last names we're talking about...
Team Gravity Falls: Dipper Pines◊ and Mabel Pines◊
Reserves: Team STOP DYING: Rin Kagamine◊ and Len Kagamine◊
"YOU SHALL FEEL THE FLOWER'S WRATH"Oh boy, the Pines family's here!
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"I hope Barney kills a least one kid since he's from a show for young children!
Barney: I love you, you love me, you'll all feel great inside my belly...
Since my reserves are brother and sister, would it really surprise anybody that they'd be one of the few tributes to enjoy Sibling Incest since they're the personifications of Rule 34 itself?
The League of HeroesJust came up with these custom events (except for the first death event).
Here's a variation of a tribute revealing that it's a lost relative to another tribute:
- (Player1) disowns (Player2) from their family.
Death events:
- (Player1) grinds (Player2)'s face against a spinning whetstone.
- (Player1) and (Player2) play a game of volleyball with (Player3)'s severed head as the ball.
- (Player1) and (Player2) play a game of golf with the severed heads of (Player3) and (Player4) as the ball.
- (Player1) and (Player2) play a game of mini-golf with the severed heads of (Player3) and (Player4) as the ball.
- (Player1) and (Player2) play a game of bowling with (Player3)'s severed head as the ball.
- (Player1), (Player2), (Player3), and (Player4) play a game of football with (Player5)'s severed head as the ball.
- (Player1), (Player2), (Player3), and (Player4) play a game of soccer with (Player5)'s severed head as the ball.
- (Player1), (Player2), (Player3), and (Player4) play a game of basketball with (Player5)'s severed head as the ball.
That non-fatal event doesn't make sense if the two parties were never related in the first place.
Sure.

- (Player1) reveals to (Player2) that (he/she1) is (his/her2) long-lost sibling, then disowns (him/her2).
EVENTS:
- (Player 1) tells (Player 2) an immature joke. (Non-fatal)
More death events:

- (Player1) kills (Player2), (Player3), (Player4), and (Player5) with a Rube Goldberg Machine.
- (Player1) kills (Player2), (Player3), (Player4), (Player5), and (Player6) with a Rube Goldberg Machine.
Mains: Raven Branwen◊ and Qrow Branwen◊
Reserves: Jonathan Joestar◊ and Johnny Joestar◊
More custom events:
- (Player1) fakes (his/her1) own death for the life insurance money.
- (Player1) hacks into (Player2)'s bank account and steals all the money.
Darn, I was going to submit the Pines. Also something else, but I've forgotten it. And Nyo!Italy was so close.
Oh well, let's do some webcomic characters. Hopefully the Namesake guys do better this time. Team Chopper Twins: Warrick◊ and Selva◊.
Reserve Team Crewe: Emma◊ and Elaine◊.
Writer, or something. And... a button? 🖲️Oh, fuck you, Beria. And why have my tributes suddenly become pathetic wimps who die unceremoniously and can't kill anyone? Even Marcus didn't have a body count in his debut season.
Salty ranting aside, I'm coming up empty in regards to tributes that avert the One-Steve Limit, last name-wise, so... Here's some standard aversions:
Team River: River Tam◊ and River Song◊
Team Neil: Neil Gaiman◊ and Neil deGrasse Tyson◊

Ahem,
Bringing in another 4fterthought original (tm) since I find them more amusing than random stock images, I'll put in Myles Hollister◊ and, just because I've pondered changing his surname because of this before, Hollister (brand)◊
Reserves: Orange Leopard Gecko◊ and White Leopard Gecko◊, because "leopard gecko" is close to a surname, right?
Oy!Elias Bogan◊ and Bulk Bogan◊.
Reserves are Karl Marx◊ and Groucho Marx◊.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Arena event: It's the end of the world!

The League of HeroesThere's only 5 total death events for arena events, non-modifyable as far as I know.
Final Fantasy XV: Ardyn Izunia◊ and Noctis Lucis Caelum◊ . Spoiler warning: Sure, their display names are different, but plot spoilers: Ardyn's birth name is Ardyn Lucis Caelum, as in he's one of the blood royals too. Put him in as Izunia for spoilers sake though.
Reserves, team technically titles but who cares: Phantom Assassin◊ and Templar Assassin◊ (As a lukewarm bowl of water. Don't ask)
