Why is Watanabe getting a 100% damage cut every turn anyway? It's making this fight take longer than it should.

Anyway, yeah. If it's Yoshitsune - even Yoshitsune being possessed - then I'll roll for her. If not, then it's a character I have no attachment to being Trojan Horsed into my quartz supplies in a wooden Ushi, and I won't stand for that.

I think in one of the fights he gets a damage cut every turn unless you debuff him, then Medea will cleanse that instead and leave him open to attack.

Can't remember in the later fight, though.

@Redsavant: Didn't we just have that with Clytie and Van Gough tho? Not that you're wrong, but I don't think DW is interested in historical accuracy.

BTW, I fucked up last night on Ibuki's stats, got her Attack and HP mixed up. Her attack is 12,709 and HP is 13,498.

So she's still has the highest attack, its just not as insane.

Question, was there a bath scene in Camelot?

I think as I said, the difference here is that lots of people actively want Yoshitsune and she's been foreshadowed a lot, nobody was clamouring for Clytie or Vincent van Gogh.

But I get it; that makes sense. I have noticed that she has the "crazy eyes" which might visualize when Taira is possessing her body, because she does have a sprite with Ushi's normal eyes. So it's probably a case of Dying as Yourself and Yoshitsune regains herself as she dies.

That said, I highly doubt Taira will apply to her summonable version, whenever we get her. I'm rather convinced we're not getting her in this banner anyway and we'll get her like...soon after. Maybe Christmas.

I get why people dislike he Ushi situation. Imagine if we finally got 5-star Rider Cesar, but it's actually some minor germanic chief he defeated that one time. Pretty disappointing.

They've established Yoshitsune has had Historical Villain Upgrade for quite some time now. Ushiwakamaru has actually said Future Me Scares Me, namely because while Ushiwakamaru may be a Blood Knight, she still ultimately has a cheerful demeanor and a good heart. In her own words though, Yoshitsune has a cold heart, and is even more brutal, to the point Ushi says Yoshitsune genuinely forgot how to smile. Hell, during the Setsubun event, Benkei says that, while Tomoe and Ushi will eventually have to interact, he's doing all he can to prevent it since Tomoe's hatred of Yoshitsune would transfer to Ushi, especially when, by Tomoe's own admission, should Tomoe see Yoshitsune, her Oni Blood would go nuts and effectively instill a Madness Enhancement on her. And that while Ushi may be a younger Yoshitsune, she shouldn't be forced to suffer the sins of her adult self. Hell, even Tomoe thinks so, since her Materials admit that she already realized Ushi is a younger Yoshitsune, but that she ultimately is content with being cautious around Ushi, since to her, Ushi is not Yoshitsune.

Whereas Yoshinaka got a Historical Hero Upgrade, Yoshitsune conversely got Historical Villain Upgrade, and this has been established as far back as Ushi's release. If anything, Ushi represents the tragedy of Yoshitsune, but more in the fact that she is who Yoshitsune once was, that she Used to Be a Sweet Kid, before becoming nothing more than a cold hearted monster. It's why even other works in the Nasuverse refrain from using Yoshitsune, as while Requiem claims to have her, it's just Ushi as demonstrated by the illustration, and is just her in her swimsuit.

Sounds more like the Requiem version is only using Yoshitsune in name only as a way to make her famous among the population who aren't aware of the villain-upgrade to the name.

I can't quite say Requiem ever claimed to have Yoshitsune. That was mostly people's assumption when she was introduced in the colloseum battle with the name. The same way people assumed that Euclid was the first male foreigner

Anyway, giving Kagekiyo instead of Ushi would be deliberately thumbing their nose at... almost everyone? Kagekiyo isn't even a particularly noteworthy or interesting figure.

Which makes it less likely. Not that it would probably matter for the overall whaling statistics, but.

I think it'll just be another Enkidu and Kingu situation so I'm not particularly worried
