One word first (in regards to Hosukai) and then I will shut up about it.
1. Hosukai was only talking about Vincent van Gogh, both for being a man and being the one who drew the art she has been looking up. Both statements are 100% true, even in the Nasuverse.
She called Gogh out on it, which she has every right to do.
As I interpreted it, Hosukai was trying to defend Vincent van Gogh's legacy to the world by calling out an impostor using his last name as their own, in her own way.
Gogh is not Vincent van Gogh.
Gogh is just a girl that got mind-raped to the point of amnesia and then had a depressed, suicidal, male painter's memories crammed into her skull for her to cling on to, despite knowing that those memories are definitely not hers, but can't claim otherwise as they are all that she has left to go on at this point with all the mental baggage and psychological trauma nesting within her.
And just because Gogh remembers being Vincent Van Gogh, it doesn't make her Vincent Van Gogh.
All she has from him, is the memories and the powers, but not the actual Vincent himself.
In short, Hosukai had every right to call Gogh out for trying to pretend being a respected artist such as Vincent. She was very specific in her statement, and used Da Vinci as an example of a genderbent artist that didn't change despite the change in the appearance, that yes, Da Vinci was a dude in real life, but he didn't change when becoming Mona Lisa as a servant. However, Gogh is far too different from Vincent to be the same case here, despite having his memories, further proving that she is not the artist that got genderbent, but is an impostor "taking credit" for Vincent's hard work.
This is an unforgivable crime for an artist to witness, as one's art is their entire life and identity as a person. Having all that stolen by some stranger? No wonder Hosukai got pushy as she did with Gogh.
There are zero offensive statements in this.
One just have to keep reading deeper into it and connect the dots logically, without emotions involved, to see that being the case.

And in regards to LB 3, the pacing picking up once we get the attention from the Lostbelt King does make sense, as if the Mothman is allowed to so much as breathe, he will no doubt end all of us with another Colony Drop the moment it becomes an available option to him.
Even so, it was a surprisingly fast pace. When compared to the other two Lostbelts that is, where the pacing only picked up right at the end of them and not as early as it did in LB 3.
Dragging it out would have made no sense.
Also, should Mechanical Abomination be added to Mothman's character page?
I mean, just look at his "Moth Egg" form that he had for the majority of the lostbelt.
If it was him, then shouldn't this trope come to be applied as well?

Yakuzu: Saber Raikou is pretty directly hinted not to be mother/son incest fuel or weird moral fixations but rather actual straight up heroic, if possibly kind of unhinged since all the Japanese heroes apart from Kintoki seem to be crazy or evil.
Mami: Worst thing my favorite Fate characters have done? Tohsaka... uh, she was meaner to Sakura than was probably appropriate in HF, but since it's Sakura I don't actually care. Worst thing Mordred has done is obvious, but the story acknowledges that she was in the wrong and that the situation was just a huge unavoidable mess so that's fine. Xuanzang has literally done nothing wrong ever. Like the worst you can accuse her of is dressing inappropriately and even then it wasn't really her idea but rather her horny friends.
A lot of my favorite characters just don't do anything wrong and if they do it's the point of their character. I mean, what, am I supposed to act like CCC Liz/Carmilla being serial killers is somehow defensible? Of course not.
Titan: If you are not joking about the mind hive thing I suggest you see a therapist because I do not believe you have one, so I do not know why are you behaving this way. However, it seems unhealthy.
