You probably remember seeing a particular troper for the very first time, and at the time they were using a snazzy avatar that really stood out. Of course, it doesn't have to be on your very first encounter - it could just be the avatar you remember seeing them use at the earliest time.
So in this game, you can just post an avatar from the above poster's gallery that you first saw them use in your memory. If the avatar that comes to mind is no longer in that poster's gallery, you can either describe it or use an avatar in the gallery that the poster used after the one in mind.
