First a whole bunch of Cartoon Network characters, now a bunch of Undertale characters?

Legion remains, a lone nonconformist in a sea of determination and animation.

Well, Lune is from a video game series, but the series had two adaptations, so that doesn't count.

"Morty, these, these Cartoon Network characters, Morty, they're everywhere! It's why I gotta, I gotta find some new characters, Morty, because this is supposed to be a multi-fandom crossover! Here, hold this, I'm gonna try and summon Gu-gu-GUUUUUUUUURGHmby. And then he'll be part of the RP, and uh, we'll buck the trend, Morty! We're trail*urp*blazers!"

"Aw, boy, Rick, I dunno if Gumby is, uh, an ap-appropriate choice for this, uh, this kind of roleplay. I mean, he's made out of clay, and, uh, he's basically unkillable, and I think that'll, that'll make people angry..."

"Shut up, Morty; he's *urp* he's a be-beloved American cultural institution. He's gonna fit in great, Morty, because he can walk into books! Any book, Morty, even the really dirty ones! Think of how useful that'll be, Morty, because there's a giant... li-library in this stupid *urp* city! And, uh, he hangs out with a talking horse so-so that *urp* that unicorn can have someone to hit on. Just gotta lock onto Gumby's dimension, and awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay we go!"

-Rick fires a portal at the wall. A portal opens and both Gumby and Pokey fall through; there's a quantum explosion that fuses them together into a hideous clay abomination that's constantly screaming and thrashing around. Rick grabs a flamethrower off of the shelf of his lab and roasts the Gumby-Pokey monster continually until it falls over, baked solid-

"Holy shit, Rick! Y-y-you turned 'em into a monster, Rick! Oh jeez! We, we killed Gumby! You killed Gumby, Rick!"

"Relax, Morty, it's fine. Gumby, he-he's been off the air, for, like, decades. Nobody's gonna miss him, Morty; the last ti-time anybody gave a *urp* shit about Gumby was when he was on SNL."

"But... you just said he was a beloved..."

"Don't think about it, Morty! Alright, Morty, I'm gonna try and abduct Archie. And I'll, I'll finally tell him which one of his stupid *urp* stupid girlfriends he should finally marry, Morty, because it's been 50 fucking years and he still can't make up his goddamned mind!"

"Aw, geez, Rick..."

This was supposed to be a one-off joke that just grew and grew into a weird little story. Blame the flu.

Plague Knight is from a videogame as well.

I had considered multiple times to use a Pokemon trainer as a possible backup character in case Ben stops being interesting. Perhaps Red/The Pokemon Trainer from Super Smash Bros Brawl. I had also at one point considered Red from the original Pokemon games, except that Red is a Heroic Mime. I also considered a few of the Gym Leaders but none of them stand out that much or have an interesting-enough Pokemon team to use.

One thing's for sure, though, I REALLY don't want to use Ash Ketchum.

I think OCs are fine if they're customizable P Cs from established games. Your verdict, Firock?

Firock addressed this (when Des suggested the Dragonborn), and he said to use the "most default" version of a customizable character. Unfortunately, for a Pokemon trainer, there isn't exactly a more "default" character to go on than Red (or Gold, or Brendan or May, or Lucas and Dawn, et cetera), and like I said, in the game where Red has an established party (Pokemon Gold And Silver), he's a Heroic Mime.

Maybe you can combine different interpretations of Red while mixing in your own interpretation. Personally, I suggest Red from Twitch Plays Pokemon, having gone silent and insane from the mob dictating his actions for so long.

Oh, right.

I could always hand-wave Red's Heroic Mime quality and say he's just really stoic and quiet most of the time but he CAN talk. He talks to NP Cs fine (even saying things like "Yes" and "No") and the Mimic Girl (who mimics everyone she talks to) carries on a short repeating conversation to him. Plus if you pay attention to the text boxes during the battles, he says something like "Go, ______!" or "_____, come back! The foe's weak! Get'm, ______!"

You can always use the Pokémon Origins version of Red.

Cue Rick telling Red there's actually 72(0/1) Pokemon to catch. The revelation might be the reason Red stops talking for the rest of his life.

I considered the Origins version of Red, but he changes teams so much that I'd have trouble picking six to go with him to the City. It'd probably end up being the ones he beat the Elite 4 with, which is troublesome because we don't know all of their moves.

I've become suddenly obsessed with One Punch Man and we should literally have a day where Saitama is the boss and complete&utter chaos ensues. Because there is no way he's ever going to get in the city as a character.

One Punch Man reminds me of Dive Kick.

Watch as somebody manages to solve the boss fight (after dying a few times) by approaching Saitama as a friend.

"You are bored. We cannot defeat you. Both of us wish for a way out. Cooperation furthers mutual goals."

Everyone may as well start digging their own graves.

Also, I'm starting to ponder a fun possibility (which basically involves Mary approaching Ben from behind and just yelling "Hey Ben!") and a potentially fun one (which involves eventually replacing Mary with someone who may or may not end up being an awful lot worse).

And then Legion plays video games with Saitama, and Saitama's terrible at video games. Saitama can be beaten at something, after all.

Or posing a challenge from another perspective.

"It's time to d-d-d-d-d-d-duel!"

Amusingly, the Mexican dub gave Rex the same voice actor as Yami/Yugi.

Yup, Syrika got it. My go to solution for addressing that sort of continuity questions will be alternate timelines on the source universe side of things in question.

Though in the case of Full Moon specifically with Asgore, it wouldn't really matter if Full Moon wanted to have it be Asgore from the same universe as kagescorpionakki's Undyne was from since kage is switching; all it would take on Full Moon's part is acknowledging that Undyne disappeared for two days. Or it could be Asgore from the same ending that kage used but still an alternate timeline anyway; what's different about the timeline? Something completely inconsequential to the character or setting like once upon a time a coin flip had an opposite result, or one of the stars in the sky was a different color.

But I was also talking about future situations like this, where say, someone new decides to sign up as Angua from Discworld, which since Tojin is no longer playing her, I'd allow. It wouldn't be the same Angua, but any characters who met the previous Angua wouldn't just conveniently forget her either. I'd just say that it's an Angua from a different timeline where something completely inconsequential to the character or setting was different.

@Star Bee: It's not like there's a rule against multiple players playing characters from the same 'verse. You can still play Papyrus if you want to.

Now granted that second rule I put in place thinking of stuff like the Fate/Stay series and the like infinity spinoffs it seems to have, but on the principle of it I'd still have to disallow Thrall mixing different versions of Red into one character.

Oh wow, I didn't even realize the pun that Locoman saw in Miss Tairee's name back in the first day until my friend started yelling at me about it on Steam. (He has a love/hate relationship with puns.) No really though, that wasn't my intention I swear. Her name is supposed to be a pun, but it's supposed to be a different pun; now I guess her name can be two puns in one!

Anyway, man, I feel like I barely got to do anything today. Dang early shifts. Regardless, I'm heading out for tonight. After work and my nap tomorrow I can at least take solace in the fact that I'll have a two day minimum weekend, and I'm hoping it'll be more. Also tomorrow's shift is another long one, so it could be once again on the late side before I get online given the nap afterward.
