Concerning this: I will cut the aversions, but should the one straight example be rephrased and expanded?

I already cut the aversions, since it's a trivia trope and trivia cannot be played with.

From Main.Ascended Fanboy:

• Hilariously averted in HeartCatch Pretty Cure!. While searching for the third Precure, young fairy Potpourri finds Ban, an inspiring manga artist the girls befriended earlier, in the middle of figuring out how his third Precure would act in his comics. Inspired by his devotion, Potpourri decides he would be the third Precure. However, when Ban starts imagining how it would be like, Potpourri panics and bolts as the image hits him.

Is it an aversion tho? I'd like to think this is more of a subversion, but I'm not 100% sure of that.

Reads like a subversion. It's not that Ascended Fanboy doesn't exist in the story, it's that they play with the idea.

• New Media Are Evil: Averted, Daniel's main frustrations with modern technology stem from a simple lack of understanding, though he takes pride in being an old-fashioned pencil-and-paper person with common sense. However, the Jobcentre and associated parties' "all-digital" slogans only serve to alienate Dan further, best demonstrated by an unhelpful call handler insisting that he can only find a phone number for a dyslexic line on the internet even after being told that Dan has no access to the internet due to being dyslexic.
• No Periods, Period: Averted. Katie asks for sanitary towels in the food bank and resorts to stealing them as they don't have any. Unfortunately, this is Truth in Television for many women who depend on food bank donations.

I'm a bit unsure about this one. From VideoGame.Harvest Moon Animal Parade:

• Bragging Rights Reward: The Harvest Goddess (and Harvest King) as purely Bragging Rights Reward candidates is averted. To woo them, the only thing you have to do is beat the main storyline—and that's hardly anything at all with regards to 100% Completion. They still won't live with you, but there's nothing special you have to do to win their favor that's different from any other candidate.
