[up] Wait a minute... Freakazoid is a digimon. Dexter is his rookie form and when he freaks out he digivolves into Freakazoid, his champion form. We just haven't seen his ultimate and mega forms!

On other things, and X-files - Numb3rs crossover makes sense to me. The Epps borther trying to track down fugitives Mulder and Scully....

Rick and Morty would theoretically go well together with pretty much anything, due to them being able to jump through dimensions. But I guess that they'd best go together with other shows with a similar get-up: Star Vs. The Forces of Evil , Gravity Falls and probably Steven Universe. As long as their is an old man and a younger sidekick or dimension-hopping it should work.

Kara No Kyokai, Fate Stay/Night, Grimm and the cartoon version of Martin Mystery alongside Yakushiji Ryoko no Kaiki Jikenbo would make a sensible/interesting crossover.

Most of the events are done due to a coalition of bad guys that want to undermine the heroes and measure their potential to be worthy enemies alongside a dash of the Center trying to use their agents to keep the masquerade up against rogue Magi and the occasional Royal Family/rogue government unit/Wesen involved in the paranormal.

Another one is for the Metal Gear series to crossover with the Blacklist.

[up][up]KNK and FSN are both Urban Fantasy written by the same author, and the latter is ambiguously in continuity with an AU of the former.

Just pointing out that it's kind of obvious that they'd go well together.

Like Ranma ½ and Inuyasha. It wouldn't be complicated or contradictory setting-wise to have their stories take place in the same universe, and they're from the same author, so there wouldn't be a lot of tonal clash, either. (well, R1/2 involves a LOT more Comedic Sociopathy...)

Yeesh... Yeah, though I did prefer Ranma more than Inuyasha IMO.

I'm still watching the new episode for UBW. Although that may come to some idea on how to get Shirou to work for the Assassins if that can be possible due to his ideals...

Well, it is definitely canon that Shirou can decide to go down the Pragmatic Hero route in order to better serve The Needs of the Many (see: the entire point of Counter Guardian EMIYA, as well as the Mind of Steel Bad End.

That said, Shirou's "save as many people as possible" shtick makes him sound more likely to join the Templars as an Anti-Villain.

I kinda see him there as the token good teammate.

Another way to make it work is that Assassins saved him from death after Fate/Zero.

Well, sure, but if he's saved and raised by someone other than Kiritsugu, then logically he's going to end up not being recognizable as the Shirou that we originally came to know and love.

This makes so much sense I'm surprised no one has done it yet. In the RWBY universe there are monsters known as the Grim. In Fire Emblem Awakening, there's a evil dragon that is good at controlling the undead named Grima. Put two and two together.

Gravity Falls and Over the Garden Wall, because the oddness of the latter works pretty well with the former without being universe-breaking.

Metal Gear and the 2nd Patlabor movie.

Tsuge uses his MIA status to cover up his tracks and heads to Central Asia and meets up with Big Boss. The two men bond over how their governments decide to toss them aside like they were nothing and fought together in Zanzibar Land's War of Independence. Tsuge makes a name for himself commanding rebel labor forces before he enacts his terror plot in the movie.

Like Ranma ½ and Inu Yasha. It wouldn't be complicated or contradictory setting-wise to have their stories take place in the same universe, and they're from the same author, so there wouldn't be a lot of tonal clash, either.

I personally like to go the extra mile and assume that everything Rumiko Takahashi has done can exist in a single verse. Not only are they (naturally) alike tonally but I've never found any strong contradictions in what they do. The closest to contradictions I can find come from Urusei Yatsura, and that shit's more malleable than the fucking Looney Tunes.

I'd suggest Sword Art Online and Dot Hack, but I'm only barely familiar with the latter.

I think a crossover between Touhou and Shin Megami Tensei would make a lot of sense. Both series feature various mythological beings from several different pantheons (as well as some original beasts) interacting with humans, sometimes in a world that's sealed away from the normal world. The Digital Devil Saga series in particular deals with people transforming into demons and eating other humans, which is something that can happen in Gensokyo. A lot of fanwork also portrays Gensokyo as a grim hellhole not unlike the apocalyptic settings of many Megaten games. Some SMT games even have some hyper-advanced technology that wouldn't be out of place in Touhou's Outside World.

I still standby that The Legend Of Zelda and Fire Emblem would be a decent crossover.

Fate/Stay Night and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

I found the concept of Noble Phantasms and Stands very similar yet different, one incarnating legend while the other a person's spirit.

JJBB also have a special bow and arrow who can give people stands or make the stands evolve. Imagine what could happen if an Heroic Spirit was hit with that!

Also, the vision of Gilgamesh smiling while trying to hit Dio with his storm of blades, only to become frustrated when he notices his swords didn't even hit the target, very funny.

The.hack series would have to be put before Sword art. Sword art takes place in 2020's, at least a decade ahead of .hack's 2010's.
