Are you mad? "Fuck Batman" was the best part.
If anything, young girl with incredible powers must suppress her emotions is beyond tired now.

Having given it a few hours to digest, this looks worse than Inhumans.
Young Justice and Harley Quinn better be amazing or else DC Universe will tank the first year.
True but you can't say they're not at least being accurate to that part.
As for Dick, this isn't the first time they've meshed aspects of the Robins into one character. DCAU Tim had Jason's position as the second Robin and TT Dick had Jason's hot headedness and Tim's costume and bo staff.
...Lindsey Gort is gonna be in this? Now I'm even more down.
Saw the trailer... the people writing this no nothing about Dick Grayson don't they
You're going to pay a price for every bloody thing you do and everything you don't do. You don't get to choose to not pay a price.I like to think this Dick Grayson was trained under DCEU Batman.
That way his "Fuck Batman" stance not only makes more sense, but he picked up the acquired taste for murder as well.
I'm getting DMC reboot vibes
You're going to pay a price for every bloody thing you do and everything you don't do. You don't get to choose to not pay a price.Does Dick explicitly kill anyone in the trailer? It didn't look like he did, but I might be wrong.
Grabs a gun and shoots up a bunch of dudes, then says, "Fuck Batman." Yeah, gonna give this one a HARD pass.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Donte: Fuck Batman too!
Mileena MadnessNo seriously, I can understand being put off about Robin being brutal and possibly killing people.
But him saying "Fuck Batman" is honestly in character. Because
A) Dick did have that attitude with Bruce in the comics
2) Whether you were in the right or not, you had a "Fuck my parents/parental figure" moment
D) If you knew Batman in real life, you would be saying "Fuck Batman" too.
He stabs a man in the neck and smashes a unconscious's man skull with his foot. If he didn't kill anyone he's certainly doing his best to.
As for "Fuck Batman", that's Gotham level writing, in-character or not.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."Unless this really is connected to DCEU, then you should not be changing up characters this much. I mean I was expecting Infinite's music to start blasting in the trailer.
Mileena MadnessI'm not sure Teen Titans was the property to kick off a Darkier And Edgier TV-verse. I know they have the Doom Patrol series starting next, but I think that would've been a better starting point for something like this. I know the comics may have been a little dark but most people know Teen Titans by both cartoons.

Personally, I think that's a good thing. No reason one can't enjoy the same characters in wildly different tones and contexts.
Clearly my dislike of the TT Go episodes mocking older fans was misplaced. They were warning us!
- Dick teleports behind someone
Nothing personal, kid.
God the Sonic jokes right themselves with this trailer.
Mileena MadnessThis is better than I'd hoped.
I'm actually eager to watch this now.
What I like:
- blending Dick and Jason's personalities
- Darker and Edgier atmosphere
- cheesy
- "Fuck Batman" okay, Edgy Mcedgerson
- Beast Boy's design looked pretty on point
- The music - I was more disturbed by the rap from Black Panther's trailer and Bohemian Rhapsody in Suicide Squad's - if they're going for a dark, edgy, serious show then the song fits
Though:
- Starfire has... "flamethrower" powers now
- I'm too used to Deadpan Snarker Raven aka Tara Strong... so this weak and wimpy version just ain't cutting it
- Robin straight-up murdering people is kind of enhhhhhh

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Well this looks like shit. Can DC stop doing this grimdark bullshit?
You know TTG is going to parody this.
I remember Starfire’s starbolts looking like flames in the 80s comics.
I believe that killing someone trying to shot at you with intent to kill isn’t consider murder.

(2) I like the "grimdark" bullshit.
If you want happy, fluffier stuff there's Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Gotham, and Legends.
I don't think they've had much luck with the non-dark bullsh-t: Suicide Squad, Howard the Duck, Green Lantern, Catwoman Evidently there's not as much passion or cohesion when it comes to adapting the non-grimdark bullshit. Yes, Guardians of the Galaxy and Thor exist and both are very funny. Marvel has passion and cohesion on it's side.
As long as there's precedent for it I can accept it. But I'm used to the "laser" Starbolts from the 2003 series and the animated films.
I suppose with the name "Starfire" it does kind of make sense.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I was excited for this but then the trailer hit. Maybe I'm just too much of a fan of the cartoon but from that trailer they look like they're trying too hard to be dark and edgy.
titans is actually a plot by dc to go so far in the opposite direction of ttg in order to make go look better in comparison. Also this takes place in the ASSBAR universe
Also I just watched the sizzle reel for DC universe. I like how it considers Superman 4 to be a class movie.

You're going to pay a price for every bloody thing you do and everything you don't do. You don't get to choose to not pay a price.Imma be honest, after watching the trailer it feels more like a parody that I'd see on SNL or something.
Bleye knows Sabers.
"Fuck Batman" is a thing more of the Robins should say.
Jason Todd would probably say it more, but Dick Grasyon (as always), would say it better.
