Honestly, I think that the internet and politics don't mix very well.

false the internet is what has allowed people to learn alot more about subjects relating to politics

but this is not the place for that so lets veer back on topic

if mr enter was smart he would just review every episode of that sabrina cartoon now here me out

its clear these kinds of morals bug him (and i agree the types of morals it teaches are often crap) the scripts would be easy to write and it would not take much editing

nor does he even have to worry about copyright issues as no one gives a shit about the cartoon you can find full episodes uploaded on youtube

this would let him get content out while he works on his "bigger" videos

Haven't seen his political videos myself, but based on the other's descriptions, I'll pass on watching his works.

Yeah, looks like Enter has fully gone down an insane right-wing political rabbit hole and just won't shut up about it.

Okay, he’s officially lost it. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for awhile even after so many others had had it with him, but this is it. Fuck him.

I used to pity him because of the rabid hatedom he had,but now he's lost all my sympathy,now he's just another jerk on the internet

Didn't actually watch it, but I did lok at the comments to see what he said, and oh boy, Mr Enter has truly lost it. Even with the vid description saying "Nah, I'm not crazy."

Technically yes, but he's officially cancelled Admirable Animations. The reason he cited was that they would all be plot recaps, and if he really want to do a good job would be to use it as a jumping off point for talking about something political and/or something bothering him. Which is kinda BS, plenty of other reviewers can talk about how something is good just as a thing.

In hindsight, I'm so relieved that he never did that review of Puella Magi Madoka Magica he was planning. Considering his current state, it would not be a good video. I'll stick to SF Debris for that review.

Jumping ship to Saberspark was the best idea I ever had.

not really a fan of saberspark either. only cartoon reviewer i watch on a semi-regular basis now is pan pizza

i LOVE sfdebris review of madoka it completely changed how he views anime and became one of his favorite shows of all time

and yea S Fdebri proves you can do postive reviews and make them entertaining

granted chuck is an actual writer and enter is not

I also will recommend CellSpex. Cell Spex is pretty chill and fair about her reviews I find.

I'll recommend Erin Mills and ErynCerise. Both are currently doing retrospectives: Mills is reviewing every film in the Scooby-Doo Direct-to-Video Film Series and Eryn is looking at magical girl anime.

Both are great and actually put the research into what they are talking about.

I'd reccomend Toonamp, but he hasnt uploaded a video in over a year (his last video was from May 2019). His twitter feed is still active though.

The big problem with cartoon reviewing Youtubers is that they are laser focused on an individual series and usually recent ones as well. What made Enter unique in my eyes was he went and reviewed old cartoons.

Saberspark usually goes for either obscure shit or weird episodes of TV shows.

Yep, that sounds like the problem I've had with several of his Admirable Animations reviews. And as you said, it's BS as plenty of other reviewers can do positive reviews without it being either just a recap or ranting. Which shows his weaknesses as a reviewer, really.

But has he done any reviews at all lately? Because it sounds like it's just been political rants.

Pretty much all rants. Any “review” is a rant in disguise.

I will not be surprised if all of this eventually ends up being a Creator Killer for Enter.

I think he did like one Animated Atrocity this year? I kind of quit after his worst of the 2010s list which had a few questionable choices, especially in hindsight now.

Honestly, I saw this coming from Enter. I remember getting upset in this very same thread with him about an year ago because I noticed he was starting to get into dangerous territory with his new political stuff at that time and sadly my assumption that he was falling down the rabbit hole was right.

I never thought that he'd pretty much be an Trumpist though, or atleast a Trump apologist considering his How the World Ended rant had him defend Trump quite a few times.
