Huh, outside of Phil Collins, I didnt know about those cameos in Hook. Speaking of HT, are there any films you're surprised we havent gotten ones for? Kind of strange we havent gotten one for Coco yet.

Book of Henry. Considering it's one of the stand out bad movies of last year, and one of the HT writers (Dan Murrell) REALLY likes to talk about how bad it is on their other shows. I was sort of expecting it as a lead up to Jurassic World 2.

BTW, they mention that Every trailer since Jurassic Park 3's has had a "Alan!" in it.

Have fun finding the one in this one.

Surprisingly, I don't think they've done a Slasher Movie yet. I think they could get some good material out of stuff like Halloween, Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream, etc. Maybe we'll see these films get tackled this October?

They've done Leprechaun? Which is a slasher movie. If a very comedic one.

I think the Alien movies also count (besides Aliens, of course).

I hope they can do one for the Rush Hour movies before the 4th movie is out.

There's going to be a Rush Hour 4? Huh, news to me.

Then again, I didn't hear about the Rush Hour TV series until after it was cancelled so... yeah.

Okay, is there a Deep Blue Sea sequel coming out or something? Cinema Sins just did it.

Okay, halfway through typing this I figured The Meg must be coming out this weekend.

Actually, a sequel to Deep Blue Sea already came out earlier this year.

Hmm, I see a lot of comments that this HT entry is weak. Is that just because it's highly complimentary? Nobody likes it when they're nice to something, I guess.

Perhaps it has something to do with being sponsored by the military, which implies they are supposed to go easy on it?

Maybe I'm missing something but what noteworthy connection does Infinity War have to the military? Why would running ads for the latter lead to them being kinder on the former?

Was the trailer complimentary? They called the movie out on cramming too much stuff and characters, major characters not having much to do, characters emotionally detached from the events of their previous movies, the movie being opaque to casual movie-goers not fully invested into the MCU, the deaths being transparently temporary, and the way they advertised Infinity War as a full movie instead of just Part 1.

If it was complimentary, it was in the area of Backhanded Compliments to me. <.<;

It went wayyyy too easy on Thanos, compared to how most of the past Marvel villains in prior trailers have had their plans' dissected as to how counter-intuitive they are.

That's the thing, though: Infinity War is a good movie. It's hard to find serious, genuine criticisms about the quality of the story.

It shouldn't be that hard to? It's a decent movie, but there are plenty of easy criticisms they seemingly missed, like why Doctor Strange didn't Portal Cut Thanos's arm off, or why he didn't just make more resources, or how there are apparently 14 million alternate futures where Thor never axed Thanos in the head.

At best those will cause the comment section to flood with "Dr Strange said this was the only way" thing. Personally I would say it's because Infinity War is obviously a two part movie and thus any plot holes may be addressed in the second one.

Really though, why IS the army suddenly sponsoring Honest Trailers?

Because it's good PR and might get young people to join the US Army (Unless they're joining the Navy, Marine or Air Force instead [lol]).

This week's Game Trailer.
