The current page image is a picture of a man dressed in a Christmas elf outfit - which does not illustrate the description of "adults who behaves childishly because they frequently interact with kids" at all. I think the image should at least show the adult interacting with the kid. Suggestions for replacement image:

[1][2][3][4]

The last two are fanarts, though, so it might not work. Also, any other suggestions are welcome.

Current should be pulled. 3 and 4 will not link, and I'm not keen on the other two, although 2 is better than 1.

I don't think 2 works. To me it says the opposite, that she's imitating them. Or something. No idea what 1 is supposed to show.

I think the current image is fine. It is not just "a picture of a man dressed in a Christmas elf outfit", that ignores the rest of the frame, which shows him eating a bunch of sugar and even pouring syrup on the bowl of candy (?). It doesn't say why he's childish, so could be better, definitely, but I'd object to a straight-up pull, it's KUBS-worthy.

This trope is not about acting like a kid. That's Manchild. This is about an adult being one of the kids by hanging out with them like one of their peers. Current doesn't show that, but the suggestions aren't very good.

[up]Then the current is not a good image at all, because it's misleading

And here's the 3rd and 4th links from the original post: [1] [2]

An ideal image would say "adult who behaves childishly because they frequently interact with kids". Current says only "adult who behaves childishly" (and kinda-sorta implies the "because", that costume is usually worn by someone helping Mall Santa take photos with kids). Not good, but "not good at all" is an exaggeration. It is mediocre.

Better than nothing, and better than the suggestions so far.

[up]How many people would actually draw that sort of conclusion from first glance, though? The implication is way too vague, since we don't actually see him interact with kids.

I don't think one kid and three older characters work well at any rate. It seems more like they interact like that because of each other than because of her.

Fair enough. Maybe this (hopefully clearer) stock photo?

I'm noticing large amounts of misuse and Zero Context Examples on this page. Many of these examples are Manchild without it being a result of hanging around children. As the Laconic defines it: "An immature adult who spends most of their time with children." This trope should really go through TRS.

[up]That's what I thought at first, but I'm not seeing many overlaps between the Manchild examples, and I'm not familiar enough with the examples to know if they're actual misuse, or if the context provided is just not so clear.

Even without understanding the examples, it's obvious misuse. And a Zero Context Example is even worse than a bad example because it doesn't justify the example to the uninformed. So, at the very least, I'm going to comment out the zero context and bad examples and leave a note.
A few examples of misuse (Characters who either don't hang out with children or are not mentioned hanging out with children):

But there's a lot more than that. And plenty of Zero Context Examples, which I can't be sure about. They will be commented out.

I think the elf pic would actually work better on Manchild than this. In fact maybe they should just be switched. That has kids that he's sitting with like he's one of them.

[up]Agreed, since the character in question is an example from Manchild rather than this trope. I don't think the Manchild image is usable, though. Since it gives more vibes of "a Book Dumb character who is forced to stay back in class for too long" rather than "an adult behaving like a child".

[up]Well, although I don't mind replacing the Manchild pic with the current, I'd actually prefer a shot of the character doing something ore obviously childish, rather than simply wearing clothes that only younger kids would wear. Maybe something like this.

My vote is to pull the current, or possibly move it to Manchild.
